Well built, good looking light.
Ridiculously bright is my only criticism. Had looked at adding a WiFi dimmer/controller but has a constant current power supply so not as straight forward.
Added a sonoff inline to give some smart features,
Easy to fit, little bit tricky if your brickwork is uneven but not impossible.
Also no IP rated cable connector supplied so bear this in mind
I purchased the 150cm version and it was pretty straightforward to install. If you are not comfortable working with electrics in a safe manner then you should get an electrician to install this for you.
This is fixed to the wall using wall plugs and screws, no adhesive pads.
The only downside to this light is that it doesn’t have any motion sensing or native smart functionality. It’s likely that this is a conscious decision by the manufacturer to just use it with a basic on / off switch, but I kind of feel that these days people want the option.
The remedy that, I purchased an inline smart switch to sit between the light and the main light switch which then connected it to my Alexa app and used my ring doorbell sensor to turn it on/off.
Overall a bright outdoor light that does the job well, maybe slightly over priced given that it has no native smart function or motion sensor. Gave 4 stars to take that into account.
