Got this for my dads birthday a while ago and it’s is still in the same place and has not budged once, holds phone really nicely and the phone hasn’t fallen out of it at all
I needed a good phone holder to fit into my taxis air vent and this is strong and perfect. The holder fits neat and holds the phone without any rattle or movement. Fits iPhones perfectly.
I have tried dozens of mobile phone holders. I don’t write reviews until I’ve used them for a while. I like this one; it is easily positioned on a vent and stays secure; I like the ergonomics in terms of access to the release button well positioned on the rear; it also feels more robust. In short it works very well and is reasonably priced so I would have no problem in recommending the product.
So far so good it did take a few attempts to install it but once it was on it felt secured in. It easily held my iPhone in place. Works well in both landscape or portrait it simply does the job.

Absolutely fantastic car mount. I have been using this for. a few weeks now and have had no issues at all.
No concern about my phone falling, and allows for 360-degree rotation.
Very easy to use and there are no rattling noises compared to some other car phone mounts.
Easy to install and would definitely recommend it.
Because of the shape of the vent in our car we had struggled to find a suitable unit. Most of them had a clip that was too short to deal with the larger flaps.
This one is clever as it allows you to adjust the length of the clip and goes up to 2.5 cm.
This worked perfectly for us and it fits firmly and securely.
The same comment applies to the bracket which is fully adjustable 360 and strong enough to keep a firm grip on the phone.
Because of the location, it means it can also be charged at the same time from the cigarette lighter. It’s not the sleekest looking piece of equipment, but does the job really well.
This is a nice air-vent mounted mobile phone holder for the car. I’m impressed with the way it looks and how firmly it fits onto the vents. It has a good mechanism for holding the phone too (which is somewhat satisfying to push closed due to the ratcheting sound it makes when you do so!). The “feet” can be adjusted downwards too, so it’s pretty versatile and useful. My only caution would be that the hook doesn’t extend very far (compared to another type of holder that I’ve got in the other car) so this is better suited to standard vents that don’t have too much depth. The Ford Mondeo ones have really deep “fins” and this one doesn’t fit that (where another design that extends further does – just!). But if you have a standard air vent in your car (as we have in our Peugeot, for example), this product is excellent and will be a good buy.
Picked this up for our motorhome as the old suction cup holder just kept falling off and considered this rather dangerous whilst driving.
This holder is excellent, well constructed and a doddle to attach to the air vent and it feels very sturdy.
Holds my iPhone XS-MAX nice and tight, easy to mount and unmount.
Much safer option than the old suction cup design.

I have tried other car vent phone holders with the clasp and my phone or the holder kept dropping off. I didn’t expect this to work as my car vents move so easily but it really does. It fixes easily onto the vent and doesn’t wobble at all once secured. There is a quick release button to easily take your phone out of the holder without it affecting the grip on the vents
Sturdy phone holders I like the idea ots universal so not just for 1 use of phone. Simple to install and comes with instructions, if unsure that are clear. Appearance is smooth and I like the fact is clear and doenst stand out too much. Blends with any car interior. Does what it supposed too which is needed especually when driving.
It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the design of this holder:
* Very easy to install.
* Has a sturdy metal hook that clips solidly to the vane of an air vent.
* Stands-off from the vent and therefore doesn’t interfere with the air flow too much.
* Adjusts in height and width to accommodate practically any phone.
* Has 360 degrees rotation which is brilliant if using the phone with a navigation App – allows the passenger to use as required too. Can also be positioned just right if synchronising with the car’s sound system.
* Single button release
My car is a very old, so the vents are a little loose and that means the holder bounces slightly when driving on rough terrain. It’s not an issue for me and I think most cars would fair better.
The instructions are very good, but tiny – I have scanned them @ HD resolution so you can study them more easily.

I was very pleased with this in-car phone holder.
It is very easy to fit in your car and once in place it’s:
* sturdy
* good-looking
* secure
* very easily adjustable, one-handed, to alter the angle you want to see your phone at.
It fits my iPhone 13 mini perfectly. It would also fit slightly smaller phones and much larger phones just as well (the side-holding bits are very adjustable).
The bits that come into contact with your phone (the side-holding bits and the bottom-supporting bits) have a rubbery, padded feel. This protects your phone from scratches, but it ALSO means that your phone is securely gripped and won’t fall out while you’re driving, even if you have to brake hard. The side-holding bits are adjusted on a ‘ratchet-system’, so once you’ve got the right position for them for your phone, they won’t be budging until you deliberately press the quick-release button.
All in all, a brilliantly-designed bit of kit.
This was well packaged, and came with decent instructions.
The holder itself is black plastic apart from the little metal hook out the back that clips onto the air vent fin. You pull back the part surrounding the hook, slide the hook into the air vent until it goes past the back of the fin, then pull forward again until the hook catches. Then allow the surround to slide back (it’s spring loaded), and screw the locking ring in until it’s nice and tight. You have to be careful with this as I can see it would be quite easy to screw it too far and break the fin, but that would be the case with any holder like this.
Putting the phone in is dead simple. Press the button on the side of the holder, the arms slide open, put your phone in, and press the padded arms back in until it’s holding the phone snugly. If you have a particularly big or long phone, the feet at the bottom have several settings so you can slide them out to accommodate longer phones so not to have the arms keep hitting the on/off button or volume controls on the phone.
I have an official Samsung flip case on my phone, and the holder fitted nicely round it with the cover closed, and more importantly open, as it meant I could use Waze as well. The feet allow for a charger cable if the port is in the middle of the bottom of the phone. I’m not sure if any phones have charging ports off-centre, but this probably won’t work if you do have one like that.
I watched the phone and holder as I drove to and from work, which includes some farm tracks, and the holder stayed properly in place, and hardly wobbled at all. I was able to see the screen perfectly, even over some of the big ruts I have to drive over. All together, I’d recommend this holder, it does the job nicely!
I had purchased a holder from Halfords which they said would stick to anything. It kept falling off.
So I bought this one, which they claimed was easy to install and sturdy. To my surprise it is. It’s not rocket science but I followed instructions and it works perfectly.
One suggestion for those having problems… Do no over tighten any of the parts.
