I tried a couple of other humane traps that did not work but this one did. Easy to set up and it trapped the mouse without injury. I let it go back into the local woods no problem.
Cat brought in a mouse, which I saw run into the spare room. Ordered with next day delivery, set up during the day (baited with peanut butter). Checked before bed, the little fella was in there, apparently unharmed, still trying to get at the peanut butter! Took it out to the garden, left the lid off for him to escape, and of course I left him the peanut butte
We had mice in the kitchen and decided to try a new trap, since we weren’t particularly happy with the traps we’d tried before. I ordered two of these double-ended traps and they arrived very quickly. I baited them in the evening with a single almond and a touch of peanut butter (for extra mouse-appealing scent) in each, and placed them along opposite walls. The next morning I set off with the traps to release two woodmice in the nearby woods. I would highly recommend!
Set traps on the night they were received, one baited with peanut butter the other honey nuts, put one behind the sofa and one behind fridge, come the morning, two very cute, little mice trapped, one in each, which we released the in the park.
Have washed, ready to set tonight, although I really hope there are no more!

I ordered 2 of these traps having never used them before and I was very impressed. Simple packaging and easy steps to follow. Put some peanut butter in the section provided and within hours our little mouse had been caught. Easy to open and set it free (far away from my house I might add!). It cleaned well and is now back out ready to catch any others that might be hiding. Would highly recommend this product.
Really fast delivery. Ordered Saturday evening, delivered Sunday afternoon. And caught a mouse on the very first night. Simple to let him go well away from home the next morning.
As soon as I placed the traps the mice kept getting trapped. I only had them for two days and already caught four of them. Two each night. Also I find these traps to be more humane than the standard ones as the mouse it’s not fully restricted to move and has light coming through. This is also a good feature as you can see straight away when they are inside.
This humane trap works brilliantly. In the space of seven days it has captured eight mice. The best thing is, I have been able to release all of them in nearby fields. I would definitely recommend buying this %. It’s easy to use, just place the trap where you think the mice are going and just put a bit of food in the top of trap, I used dry dog food. Very happy with this purchase.
We had mice in our garage and our previous traps were not working effectively. Decided to purchase two of these and achieved results within an hour of putting them out. Really easy to use and very easy to release the mice once caught. I would highly recommend them.
Bought this product as I had tried another and it did not work, we bought this to catch an escaped hamster!.. he had been gone for a week but this trap worked and he was in the trap less than an hour after it was set.. we bought 2 of them and set them off in different places.. I’m glad we did because we also caught a mouse in one!.. the mouse was a wild mouse ( not an escapee!)
These work really well. My cat keeps bringing mice in, he’s very gentle and just lets them go when he sees me. However, this means I have mice running around! These traps worked well, they’re well designed and humane. There are no sharp edges and they feel solid and weighty (so no chance of the cat getting at a trapped mouse). I just feel bad for the mouse that once he goes in he can’t actually get to the bait so I add a little extra in the middle
Well I know they work, as I’ve had 3 caught in the contraption. Not all once of course lol. The traps are brilliant but my only gripe is, I ordered the nice green ones this time and have had, brown ones sent to me Guess they all do the same job
I would just like to thank MSR for there hard work in keeping their customers happy. Firstly the humain mouse trap that I purchased from them was very well made and made out of very strong plastic, and it is very easy to set and what’s more you dont get one trap but you get two,this is so handy as we have a very large veranda which goes round half of the property. It has only been a few hours since we placed the traps and have not yet caught a mouse but that’s good. Another great thing is that it only took a couple of days for it to be delivered, and what a fantastic price, I am looking forward to purchasing more items from this company. Also you get a handy little cleaning brush to clean the
trap, and It is such a refreshing surprise to get a company that looks after there customers so well, thank you again regards Paul
If you do not wish to harm, injure or kill a mouse, this trap is perfect for you, the product has a door at each end, a lightly sprung platform in the centre, the bait is placed in a small compartment at the top centre of the trap, your unwanted visitor enters the trap, finds the bait you have placed into the bait compartment, just above the lightly sprung platform, reaches up to feed, this in turn will close the doors at each end & traps your visitor, you can then take your visitor away from your home, shed, garage or wherever you have found him/her, take the trap along with contents & release into the wild, unharmed & both of you will be happy. This product is quite pleasant on the eye & can quite easily be placed behind a chair, sofa, TV unit or along the wall of your garage or shed. Very reasonably priced & even comes with a cleaning brush.
I’ve added some weights (3x2p and a bit of tape), that seems to make them much more sensitive. I’ve posted a video to demonstrate.
Other than that these traps look good for the price. Fingers crossed.
I’ll update this review if I catch one.
UPDATE – it worked. I caught my first very small mouse. Let’s hope I can get some more.
I’d recommend using these and weight them with either food or coins.
This product works. I set up the two traps overnight and the next morning I had a mouse in each. I then released them the same morning in a hedgerow. It was seamless and easy. The next night I reset them and caught a further mouse.
Note 1: I used birdseed as the food as we already knew they liked it – having chewed through the bag. I also carried the two traps in the box they came in to prevent them from moving around while I was walking and driving and to minimise the risk of escaping in the car.
Note 2: I had purchased 2 x sets of traps as I didn’t realise there were two in each box, and won’t be returning them as will give them away to Family or keep them for the future.
The 4 stars for easy to clean are only as I have not yet cleaned them, having had them for less than c. 48 hours, and look easy to spray and soak in warm soapy water easily.
Easy to bait, easy to set but NOT very sensitve, took 4 nights for it to trigger. I had a camera watching both in the garage and mice running in and out of both traps before i had to put weights on the floor of the trap to help it trigger. Once triggered i caught 2 mice straight away without harming them. I released them at top of the garden next day in the hope if they return and keep getting caught they will refrain from going in the garage again (Or clever enough to stay away from the traps knowing my luck). I have been told it is illegal to release them in the countryside??
We like how this trap is like a tunnel and how it gets tripped by pressure on the middle of the tunnel. I’ve given less stars for ease of cleaning as we haven’t had any experience in cleaning it yet. We also haven’t caught any rodent in it yet — I’m not sure if the bit where the bait is placed is effective enough to let the food scent out. I’ll try to give an update when we have had some success.
