This is a great device because if you’ve bought cables you will know that most are 1 way so you need to get them right or they don’t work, this is bi so it will always work and save a lot of time, money and hassle .
It just worked. Plugged into my GPU DP port and Monitor HDMI.
I have several older HDMI only monitors and modern GPUs seem to come with almost all DP sockets now.
This easily just plugged in and let me use an HDMI monitor on the DP output of the GPU without issue.
Reasonable length and seemed sturdy in the socket.
I ordered this to help connect up my DP PC to my HDMI projector. The connector is very strong and well put together, it has made the job of connecting the two devices much simpler. It has a useful length cable in-between the two ends, so this adds to its flexibility.
