Works fine. It only works if converting a HDMI signal to VGA though. It will not convert a VGA signal to HDMI. As long as you understand that its fine.
No issues here even though I agree that the screws could be a tad longer but I was able to get mine to screw on and no change in screen quality.
I bought one and my friend bought me one as a gift. Both work. I use one at home and the other for travel. No issues yet after a month.
I was able to use this to hook up an old monitor I had just sitting around, to my laptop, so I can dual screen without fear of burn in on my laptop screen.
This works as expected but I will note that it says maximum resolution is 1920×1080@60Hz and that is what I am using it on. I also have a monitor that is 1920 x 1200 but haven’t tried it on that yet.
I bought a Mini PC for husband who doesn’t do much on a computer. His old monitor required this item. I simply plugged it all together and it works just fine.
I did like this adapter it worked it just didn’t attach to the vga cord by screwing it in which is not a big deal i would just prefer it.
I use this for when I work remote with my laptop and need an additional display. After I am done, i plug the UDMI plug into my desktop and continue to use my flat widescreen display on my desktop PC. The picture quality is superb. I highly recommend this!
My laptop recently had its screen go bad. I had some old monitors laying around with the old HDMI connection. So, I decided to order this cable that allows to connect an older monitor to my laptop with has the newer HDMI Connection. The cable worked as plan. Now, I can use my laptop with an old monitor.
