Very sleek and stylish sat nav. The volume quality on calls is really good and clear too. It’s very light too despite the screen being nice, big and clear. Would definitely recommend this sat nav to anyone.
Needed a hgv satnav but couldnt afford the so called top brands. So took a chance with this.
Was i surprised it looks top quality with loads of features that are easily set up.
Mine is set to lorry 40ft long 16ft high.
Trying today on road, but the the overall quality of this satnav does give me a lot of confidence.
So I have a big fear of driving anywhere I don’t know, Google maps is useless. I was attempting to drive from West Sussex England to Scotland furthest point north.
We named the sat nav Bob Bob was amazing he told me in plenty of time where to turn off and he repeats it, he shows you what lanes on motor way you can use, also the speed limit if you go over it etc, he lead me to my brothers who lives in the middle of no where in Scotland , not once does he lose signal or get you lost. Now I feel I can drive anywhere in the world that I can get to thanks to Bob. Also he will show you where petrol stations are and any services. You can play music through him although abit tinny and you can choose a nice voice and if you’d like to take a scenic route, go buy it We love Bob
Bought this for my daughter who is moving away from home next year on a placement year.
Found it really easy to set up and to use.
Gave only 4 starts for accuracy as haven’t had time to use it enough to say that it is worth 5 starts but so far very happy with the product.
The product felt and looked high quality , amazing for the price paid, I was surprised!. I recently returned a new satnav from a top name and decided to buy the NAVPAL, so easy to set up and it has all the features that are required. The large screen is easy to read and use, I am really happy overall. And it is BRITISH.
Sat nav has a good sized screen and a clear picture. Easy to use and the voice telling you when you are over speed limit works. All in it is a good piece of equipment. My only disappointment would be the volume for the phone calls could be louder even with it up to the maximum position. But that could also be a fault with my make of phone.
On the initial installation in her car she did experience one problem, which was the sticky mat that affixes to the dashboard soon become unsticky in the sun and the whole device fell off onto the floor in the footwell. Fortunately she was not driving at the time – she had set it up and then vacated the car, only to return and see what had happened. This was a minor inconvenience but one which could have been dangerous had she been driving when it happened. Since then she has found an alternative method of mounting it on the dashboard – using a doughnut mat which she had purchased for her TomTom. This works well and the suction cap holds firm with no worries about it falling over.
So far she has not connected the NavPal to her mobile phone via BlueTooth nor to her car radio as she does not feel there is any need. The directions are clear enough not to require them booming out of her car speakers.
The extras that were included in this deal make it extremely good value with the lifetime of free updated maps, charging plug and lead and padded wallet to keep it in, all of which are very useful. The device arrived loaded with the latest maps and it was very easy to register for future updates. All of this makes me very happy with my purchase and I would confidently say that you won’t get a better deal.
