First off, this is a genius invention. I’ve always had a problem with blunt knives, and these ones are very sharp. Sharpening them is super easy. Though, I admit, the lever can sometimes be janky if you fail to put in the knife properly. This doesn’t happen if you’re careful. It can of course be machine-washed, but this isn’t advised so that durability is maintained.
These are very sharp knives. I’ve wanted them for a long time now. I only have a small kitchen but I have made space for these. The only down size is that you can’t sharpen the scissors or the bread knife. Hopefully they will stay sharp. You can’t wash in dishwasher either. But that’s ok. I just have to be really careful when hand washing. Great for cutting raw meat which I struggled with using my old knives. I havnt needed to sharpen them yet as it says to wait 2 weeks before sharpening. All in all I am very happy with them.
These knives are the sharpest I’ve ever had. The instructions say don’t use the knife sharpener straight away as the knives arrive very sharp and they do. Their packaging is very safety conscious. I’m renowned in my family for not slicing bread well but with this serrated knife it’s a breeze. Love these knives and the sharpener.
With this block on top of worktop it is so easy to pick a knife to appropriate job instead of having to look through a drawer, I should have got them before waiting for prom day but worth waiting for a great bargai
This is an excellent knife set and sharpener and looks stylish on the worktop next to my Ninja air fryer. A knife for all your chopping jobs, and the bread knife cuts without tearing even the most crumbly bread. I recommended to my friend who also bought a set.

It takes up little room on the work surface, is sturdy & looks good.
Every knife was razor sharp when they arrived. They are beautifully balanced in the hand & the handles & blades are well constructed as one, so easy to clean & nowhere for bacteria to collect.
These knives should last for years & I have no hesitation in recommending them if you need to upgrade your knife collection.

I’ve wanted a decent set of knives for ages. This feels like one of those indulgent purchases that are nice but not necessary. Of course, now that I actually have these beasts in my kitchen I wonder why I didn’t invest years ago. With five separate knives each with their own unique function, plus a pair of scissors and a built in knife sharpener, this set is the ultimate treat.
I would now happily while away my time chopping and slicing, whereas with my old knives I felt as if I was tearing, stabbing and getting nowhere. They are razor-sharp, as you would expect – we’ve already had one injury so far – a deep thumb slice whilst washing up.
In terms of cleaning, it’s not as simple as just lobbing them in the dishwasher. The advice in the manual is to:
– only hand wash them
– not to use abrasive scourers/brushes
– to dry them quickly to avoid water marks
It’s early days but so far, the knives have retained their sharpness excellently so I haven’t needed to use the sharpener yet – I gave it a quick go and found it a little fiddly at first but once we’ve given it a few goes I’m sure it will do the job.
I cannot recommend this set enough. It’s not an indulgence but an investment and food prep has become immeasurably easier and more pleasurable since buying these. Absolutely recommended at the price (109, Black Friday 2023).
I looked at these for a long time, yes the cost put me off but I’ve wasted lots of money on knives in the past, these are the best by far, feel quality in hand, quite weighty but very balanced and sharp, these will last us a long time, awesome
Oh my word! Never realised how bad my old knives were until I had these! Cut through a raw baking potato like a knife gliding through butter. Incredibly sharp, look stylish, love the built in sharpener. At first I thought my scissors had broken as they came apart but realised this is a feature to help with cleaning.
