I use it to play music in my room and to build a vibe and it is just loud enough for my convenience and not disturbing others once my door is closed.
The sound from this speaker is really good and is loud enough to be used in a small church. When connected to my laptop by bluetooth I have found it switches itself off when not used for about 20 mins, and it loses connection occasionally. Fortunately it has a wire connection as well. The + and- buttons on the top which adjust the volume are difficult to see unless you get the light at the right angle. They are the same colour as the surround. If I painted them it would wear off after a few uses. Apart from these minor issues I am pleased with it.
I bought this speaker for my larger flat, thinking it may not have the oomph (technical term ). As soon as I linked it to my computer it proved me wrong. A great little speaker for the price and better than average bass.
For the price, this is a great little speaker. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on battery life.
One design flaw. The top (where the 4 controls are) is a black rubbery material and it’s not easy to see the controls. They are not marked in any way; just seem to be indentations in the material. I keep having to pick it up and hold it to the light to see where the two volume arrows are, even though I know there are only 4 controls and they’re at 90 degree angles.
Now a big problem but IMO not great.
