These were big enough to cover my orange and lemon trees and protect them from frosts last month they are a lot stronger than my previous purchases from a garden centre
Great quality bags to protect your plants from frost.
The bags are a generous size, they secure around the plant by a drawstring.
The bags also have a zipper.
They definitely protect plants from frost and they are waterproof.
I have a French Lavender bush and this will be its first winter, so I want to ensure it survives.
The covers appear to be good quality and I really like the zip as this helps you get the cover on much easier. I have tied the cord round the bottom of plant for a bit of extra protection against the wind.
We’ve not had any serious frost yet, but I am confident the covers will protect the bush from the frost. Plants can be very expensive to buy, so spending around 15 on 2 covers is a no-brainer if it helps protect them from the winter weather.
These frost protection bags look and feel great quality and I’m quite happy they will protect my baby ferns at my caravan through the harsh winter we get there. They feel really thick material and they were so easy to use there been a zip all the way down one side and a drawstring at the bottom. The size is fantastic and easily fit my baby fern and my mid size fern. The price is I say fantastic for the size and quality and get 5 stars all round and I fully recommend them.
Nice bag for for the money they fit really well and I didnt realise they had a zip as well I don’t know how long they will last as i can’t see anything about uv protectio
I have two banana plants in my garden, and always protect them during the winter. I seen these covers this year and thought they would be perfect.
They are a reasonable quality and will certainly last the winter.
They were extremely big for my needs, so have secured them with string tied around them so they wont blow away in the wind.
Very pleased with this, a great find and will hopefully keep the ice and snow off my plants.
Living in an exposed spot, many of my plants get fleece over winter and I lose less plants this way. These plant covers seem such a good idea. rather than going out with a roll of fleece, string and scissors, I can take out the cover, unzip it, place it around the tree/ shrub, zip it up and tighten around the base with the drawstring.
I undid the string first, so that I could get it around the tree, rather than putting over the top and dropping down, but only because there were so many branches to manoeuvre around, and that worked well. You can see the string/ zip in my photo. I have also added additional string around the bag, as it’s very windy here so I’d prefer to take precautions. I love the ease of using this product. Recommend.
A pack of 2 plant / shrub covers. We found them nice and easy to fit. Having a draw string at the bottom really helps stop any problems with the wind getting under the cover and lifting it up or even off. The zip runs easy and smooth. We’ve had lots of wind and rain since we put one of these on a shrub we’re very fond of and having checked the shrub after a bad day’s weather it was in perfect condition. This shows us it does protect what’s underneath it well. We can’t say how well they work when up against a heavy frost yet as we haven’t had one this year so far but when we do I will check on the shrub and update this review then. At time of this review they cost 15.99 for a 2 pack, that may seem a lot but personally I’m happy to pay the 8.00 for the one I’ve used so far if it is going to keep our special shrub alive and healthy this winter while its outside, as we normally have to get someone to help us get it and it’s big stone pot in to the garden shed and back out again in the spring, that’s a lot of hard work at our age.
