I wish i found this product ten years ago this is incredible. i have never in my life used a razor on my legs without cutting myself at least 5 times per shave, my skin is so sensitive and so thin, i ALWAYS have razor burn, rash, bumps you name it, but not with this! i shaved my legs that i haven’t shaved in maybe a year, dry, and it’s like i literally shaved with a razor im absolutely blown away. i used this on my intimate area and it still shaved bald, but i did get a few nicks from it there though 🙁 but only on the creased bits when i wasn’t being careful, so bare that in mind! be careful using it there if you have really sensitive skin, like im not exagerating, my skin there will cut if you look at it wrong haha so if you never cut yourself with a razor there then you’ll genuinely be fine, my skin just cuts like tissue paper. but this shaver is hands down the best thing i’ve ever used, i didn’t believe people when they said it shaved bald because that’s insane but it really really does!! my only issue is shaving *that* area i get a few nicks. it’s so fast and easy to use i was so rough and carefree with it on my legs and it still was perfect! took me two minutes and it’s shaved my thighs no problem as my hair there is suuuper fine and tiny not even a razor can shave it off it’s so fine, and the thick dark hairs near your ankle! even shaved my knees with no cuts! can’t recommend this enough it’s WELLLL worth the money i can’t believe how great it is!

Been using a face trimmer for a while, this is a greta upgrade. Battery life is good, when used as a razor it cuts close enough and attachments work well to trim to certain lengths. Would highly reccomend as I do not get any sensitivity after shaving which I can get with blades

For the body this is by far the best shaver i’ve ever seen. It cuts through so thoroughly and don’t leave any cuts or patches that you need to go over. It’s very good.
On the beard shaping or moustache trimming it lacks the ability to trim it quick enough. I had to go over my thick beard a few times and only then i got the shape i wanted. Making a line in my beard neck was hard as the blades were not sharp enough to define.
Overall very good but be mindful for it’s use.
I had a Braun electric shaver previously which i only used sparingly as i found it did not give a good consistent shave with patches needing to go over repeatedly. I therefore had been wet shaving for a while and it can been time consuming.
I bought this from a recommendation from a friend and i love it. It gives a good consistent shave with the speed of an electric. It’s not a close shave but it’s good enough to make me look presentable again! I’ve not ahd to charge it that much as you can do a complete shave fairly quickly and the battery seems to last a while. The bag also makes for a good bonus to store all the bits and the shaver itself in.

I have used it on my neck and body and it works reasonable well. However, it can cut especially in the neck region so you will need to be careful. It is also not to effected in the uneven regions like the neck, often needing multiple passes to cut. All in all, a decent product for the price.

I have a hair trimmer which is too big and clumsy for face, and I initially ordered another traditional beard trimmer which I also found too bulky.
I have a couple of electric shavers which have a pop-up trimmer but likewise they’re a bit unwieldy and imprecise.
So I thought I’d try this.
In the hand it’s not much bigger than a typical blade trimmer, a little heavier of course with a wider handle. The handle itself has rubber grip around the outer edges but not on the front or rear, which I feel would have made it easier to hold firmly. It also has a charge status LED which is better than nothing but not as good as a display as it doesn’t light up in normal use. I’ve not run it low enough to see if it comes on when low, I suspect it may, but I don’t know how much time remaining that gives you if it does.
Initially, having not used a blade razor since a teenager (decades ago) I found it odd to hold as you use this against the direction of growth rather than with it, but you can push it upwards rather than ‘pull’ – if that makes sense – as the blade has two edges much like an old-fashioned razor-bladed shaver before disposables that most won’t remember.
The angle of the head is also perhaps more vertical than feels natural, to me at least, but I’ll probably get used to that.
Using the edge to trim around the mouth is the most tricky part to me as the cutting edge is too wide so you tend to use the corner of the cutting edge held at 90 degrees to the hair. That’s its weakest point to my mind, a smaller ‘blade’ would be better here.
The Combs – well, they work, but I’m a little confused about the benefits of using either the single-edged combes for face and the double-edged combes for bodythe instructions here are useless, a few tiny pictures just give a clue of how to use them, but I just find the one that gives me the length I want whether it’s a green body one or a black face one. With the version I have most of them are pretty short though, for a longer beard or body hair a different choice of heads might benefit, there’s an adjustable head available that might be better, I may het the after-market one and try that.
The cutting blades themselves are like a normal trimmer but on a miniaturized scale, with a smooth, low-friction top face which glides up or down smoothly, for me at least, without causing any irritation even without any comb attachments.
They are built into a head which attaches to the handle with retaining pegs, and swivel a small amount to allow some angle variation, but I felt this a little ineffective and limited to follow contours or provide much flexibility of handle angle, but it’s early days of using it for me so I’ll probably get used to it.
The heads are released by a button on the neck of the handle but I found when taking combs off that this releases easily before the comb comes off.
The cut using no attachment is not a close shave but leaves a very short stubble. It’s very quick to use and glides without snagging. Perfect for what I wanted. I don’t have heavy or dark facial growth so it’s barely visible on me, but it feels like stubble.
For my somewhat sparse ‘goatee’ (I’m just lazy) the combs work well enough if on the short side, they’re easy to run over my chin and lips quickly to leave a short growth.
All in all, while having only used it a few times, and despite what I’ve listed above as the ‘shortcomings’ in my limited experience so far, I like it. It’s quick and easy to maintain a short beard and keep the other facial areas appearing ‘shaved’.
And for under-arms and such like it’s fairly good too.
It’s small, light, and perfect for travel use if you don’t want a proper close shave from it.
We’ll see about durability, battery and blade life as time goes on.
Update after 3 months;
I like it! I’ve got used to holding it more like a typical bladed razor. Most of the time I just use it without combs for getting rid of a few days’ growth as, after a trim with this, with my light growth and hair colour that’s enough to look like I’ve shaved although you can still feel it.
For trimming longer or denser growth I found it works well going in the direction of growth first, then for a closer cut, go against the direction of growth.
So far I’ve never nicked any skin.
Battery seems to last for ages. I’ve not even seen a battery low light let along got near running it out.
For travel it’s way lighter than a normal electric shaver or trimmer.
All good! Upgrade to 5*.
Really good build quality. feels tough and as though it will last. It is loud and I think it’s because the rotary mechanism is exposed (it’s part of the blade) whereas other trimmers hide them internally. But, sounds like a typical trimmer.
Blades:
They don’t feel sharp to touch which is a huge plus for sensitive areas. They feel soft and they glide very easily over the skin. I haven’t nicked my self with these blades yet. Comes with a blade protector useful to identify the blade used for the face and body. The attachments are easy to add and remove, but the grey ones only work in one direction. So if you wanted to use the other side of the blade you will have to re-attach the attachment for the other side.
As a face trimmer:
It does the job but doesn’t feel as good as a typical face trimmer. It’s perfect for detail work. I have a beard so haven’t tried a complete shave. It does provide a clean shave look though.
As a body trimmer:
For me it’s perfect for body trimming, especially the sensitive areas. I use it to shave the sack (using the skin guard) and it achieved a close shave without causing nicks or cuts; I use it dry. The skin guard is really good don’t think I would use the trimmer on sensitive areas without it.
My skin seems to get really sensitive but this works really well for me. I like that you can get a good close shave with this very quickly and easily. I have another trimmer that’s quite expensive but for my face I only use my OneBlade now.
I like the guards, they clip on really easily and you can go in all directions with the guard on and because of the design there’s absolutely no risk of you going to short if you go in a certain angle which can happen with traditional trimmers.
The battery life is brilliant, once I give it a full charge it lasts a really long time before it needs to be charged again. As I said I’ve been using this for a good 2-3 months and see no wear to the blade that I’ve been using since I purchased it, the pack also includes a second blade which I thought was brilliant.
I get a good line up using the edge of the blade and I don’t seem to get any irritation at all and I use this dry.
I am disabled and struggle with my coordination but this has been perfect for me and it’s precise enough to use with beard shaping templates if that’s something that may help people.
It’s also really easy to clean, I really like that you can rinse it under the tap. The product itself also feels good quality.
I can’t find any faults with this product at all.
I am writing this review as I absolutely love this product, a few disclaimers before I start. I normally rock a styled stubble look as I have very sensitive skin, turning red and getting cut at even the first look of a razer!
I bought the one blade as I always love to try new products. It’s remarkably easy to use, it feels good in the hand, and it cuts perfectly. I originally bought the one blade pro which has a few more features to it, but I actually returned it for the one blade face and body version. This version is small and extremely portable and does an excellent job.
First shave experience:
Faultless, like many other lads my skin turns red predominately around the neck area, shaving with the one blade, I had no issues. It really is perfect. I am fully shaven, ready for the day/night ahead in around 5 minutes with no irritation whatsoever.
Battery:
This version now comes with a lithium polymer battery, which allows for consistent power delivery; one of the reasons why I originally opted for the one blade pro. It lasts a hell of a long time and takes a significant amount of time to discharge while on standby.
Blades:
Not much to say here. Sharp, protective, easy to replace albeit a little expensive.
Durability:
Water resistant, foam/gel compatible. Love it. I will never buy trimmers/ shavers which are not resistant to these elements being that the very objects are designed to be kept in the bathroom.
Cost:
This bundle is fabulous. Comes with a plethora of accessories. I don’t think you’ll have any complaints in regards to what comes in the box.
Packaging:
Some might question why this is a topic in my review. Well the plastic that comes with many products, not just shavers, takes a chainsaw and a degree in mechanical engineering to get into. This came in sturdy cardboard, very easy to access and dispose of if necessary. Really enjoyed the unboxing experience.
Conclusion:
I tried to make this review snappy and concise, containing information that I personally would find important if I were purchasing a product like this. To conclude, I don’t have any complaints, my only gripe would be that it would be nice if the blades were a little more affordable and there was a battery indicator on this model. However, that is what differentiates the one blade pro to this model so its an understandable missing feature.
