I’ve had this projector for around two years and it had been great! The screen size fits perfectly on my wall plus the projector was easy to mount. The focus and color is also very nice nothing comes off blurry even without wearing my glasses. The company also has great customer service and responds very quickly. I would definitely recommend!

I must say was quite impressed with the picture quality, give it 9/10 as I do have an OLED Tv but love watching movies and purchased a ALR screen which has improved picture quality. Changed settings on firestick to 2160UHD and wow! Happy dayz!!

Ok. I bought this back on March of 2023. It’s been solid. It works perfectly. Very clear picture, now the sound was eh because the built in speakers from it were so and so but that’s nothing when i connected an external speaker which fixed it for me. I highly suggest buying this item!!!!

With everything, you’ll find positive and negative reviews for electronics. I’m sure this is no different.
For us, you cannot beat the price for the quality. We’ve owned projector’s for around 20 years now. When they first started coming out, they were bulky and expensive. This projector is neither but offers such a better picture quality than I had hoped for. It’s easily mobile and easy to use. Yah, the speakers aren’t great but would you expect them to be? Why would you use the projector speakers anyways? If you’re buying a projector, you want an experience right?
If you want an 8k pixel TV and feel like you’re in the movie, feel free to spend a lot of money. If you want excellent 4k picture quality, hook up your own soundbar and have an amazing night with the family at a great price, this is for you. Absolutely no complaints.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo I wanted to set up a home cinema for the family and I spent hours upon hours looking at every budget projector available online. I watched every YouTube video on “best projector 2023” etc. So let me save you the time and tell you that this is by far the best buy you will find. I had a budget of upto 500 to get the projector and this one trounced even the more expensive models. Dont be tricked by other companies saying their projector has more Lumens, its all about the Ansi lumens and this one has 600 Ansi lumens. More than enough to get a great picture even with the light on or leaving the curtains open. The key stone facility means you can adjust the projector size to any wall or screen. We’ve had many nights watching films in HD and I’ve had friends round for the football at weekends all of which have asked where I got the projector and that it must’ve cost alot due to being so crisp and clear.

I went and bought 5.1 surround sound by Ultimea which you can also find on amazon without breaking the bank. The sound quality the projector comes with is OK if you wanted to watch Netflix or something in bed but if you want that cinema experience you do need at least a sound bar or something. All in all I’d recommend buying this projector and use the extra cash you’ve saved from buying a more expensive model to invest in a sound system. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I always wanted a big screen flat TV but couldn’t afford it. I bought the projector for a class reunion (PowerPoint) & thought I should try the projector with my Firestick. Low & behold, I am beyond satisfied & very happy that I purchased this item! I feel like I’m in a personal/ VIP theater only to be in the comfort of my own home. You won’t be disappointed. I did buy a screen & plan to buy a wall mount so the projector will sit higher & give me a bigger picture.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThe GooDee 2023 Dolby Native 1080P Video Projector offers an affordable option for those looking to bring the cinema experience to their home or backyard. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of a high-end projector, it’s still a decent option for the price. Let’s explore the pros and cons of this budget-friendly movie projector.

    Pros:

Affordable: The GooDee 2023 projector provides a cost-effective solution for those wanting to enjoy movies or games on a big screen without breaking the bank.
Native 1080P resolution: The projector supports full HD resolution, providing a clear and sharp image.
Large screen support: With the ability to project up to 230 inches, you can create an immersive cinema experience right in your own home or backyard.

    Cons:

Limited brightness: With a brightness of 9500 lumens, the projector may not be suitable for use in well-lit environments or during daytime outdoor events.
Limited remote functionality: The included remote control has limited functionality, which may be inconvenient for some users.
Potential sound issues: Some users may find the built-in speakers to be lacking in quality, and may need to connect external speakers for a better audio experience.

In conclusion, the GooDee 2023 Dolby Native 1080P Video Projector offers a budget-friendly option for those wanting to enjoy movies, games, or other media on a large screen. While it may not be the brightest or most feature-rich projector on the market, it still provides decent performance for the price. If you’re looking for an affordable projector for occasional movie nights or gaming sessions, the GooDee 2023 might be worth considering. Just keep in mind that you may need to make some adjustments, such as using external speakers or finding the right lighting conditions, to get the best experience.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersVery bright. Very clear. Easy to use. I suppose everything is relative. We are coming from a Vankyo Leisure 3 Mini Projector. We were happy with that projector. However, it began to develop a large dark spot on the screen (something mentioned in negative reviews for almost all LED projectors).

I did some research, and felt this projector was the best price/quality ratio. Despite what companies say about 50 or 100k hours of life in the LED bulb, I don’t think those are good gauges for the overall lifespan of the projector. I believe they will often die for other reasons before the LED bulb. Rather than pay 2 or 3 times the price for a projector with the same resolution and brightness, but a longer lasting bulb, I decided to pay $100ish for this projector and be able to afford to replace it.

I am very happy with the decision. Again, this projector produces a very high quality image (compared to our previous projector). It is a great value when used as a family movie night projector.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe wanted a backyard projection setup for last years Covid situation. This inexpensive projector fit the bill perfectly. When you pair it with a good screen (we got a 120″ diagonal screen {spandex?} on Amazon) it is bright enough to see even before its completely dark outdoors.

It has good I/O, with a 5 volt USB to power a streaming stick like Chromecast (which we use). It does NOT have built in bluetooth but we run audio from the mini stereo plug to a set desktop computer speakers with a subwoofer and we feel it’s plenty loud without annoying the neighbors. The two HDMI ports are nice too.

You have full control with the tiny included remote, and you can flip the picture top to bottom or left to right depending on how you choose to mount it or do rear projection.

It has a couple of weaknesses- leveling is a bit tricky, since you can only raise or lower the image and there is no left-to-right tilt adjustment. I bought a large ball level head and used that to mount to a board on which I mounted the projector. Now I can set both the up-down and left-right tilts and tighten with a single knob.

The built in speakers are mediocre indoors and far too weak for outdoors. You’llwant a soundbar or external speakers.

The keystoning adjustment is probably the weakest feature on the projector. You slide a lever and get about 5 degrees of sloppy feeling adjustment which means that you probably need the projector at least as high off the ground as the bottom of the screen, which then means that if you have a bunch of folks in your yard watching some people might have their view affected because of the height of the projector.
Our screen setup is about 3 feet off the ground, so the projector sits at about 3 feet to be able to throw out an image that is not distorted. You also need to play with the focus adjustment but have to settle for a happy medium with some or all of the image a bit off.

Like many inexpensive AV units, the remote control is a miniature item that would be easy to loose. We marked ours with some dayglo yellow tape to make sure it doesn’t get lost in the dark. Because the remote uses a coin battery it doesn’t have a lot of range.

Overall I’d say that this is a good entry level projector for people who want to try out a projector without dropping a lot of cash.

I was looking for a good quality projector at a reasonable price. After reading about many different projectors, I settled on the Goodee YG600. It is a sleek-looking machine. The focus and keystone knobs are easy to maneuver. The navigation buttons on the projector and remote took some getting used to, but they’re relatively simple to use. The brightness is more than enough to be able to see the image even with the lights on in our living room. I’m looking forward to trying this outside before it’s dark. I think the image will still be visible in low sunlight. Even though the projector does not have a native 1080p, it supports 1080p input and the image quality is very clear. I am able to connect my cable box via HDMI; I already have an HDMI cable, but the projector came with an HDMI cable as well. I am also able to connect my iPhone to the projector, but I had to buy a separate lightning-to-HDMI adapter. One complaint I have is that the User Guide is not very useful. It is translated into English from another language, but the translation is absolutely horrible. I could understand what was written in the guide, but reading the run-on sentences, poor grammar, and misspellings was frustrating. Overall, for being my first projector, I think this was a good purchase. The price was within my budget (I got a bit of a discount on Amazon) and my family and I have been impressed with the image quality. So far, I am very happy with this projector.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersFirst off; I’ve only used the projector once. I will update this review as time goes on and I use it more.

-Background: This is my first projector so I did quite a bit of research trying to find something that worked for me. Once I started researching I ended up going down the rabbit hole so to speak. There’s so many things to keep in mind when buying one (lumens, bulb life, throwback distance, number of connection ports, connectivity to external speakers, whether or not the bulb is replaceable, etc. I learned all this while researching and reading other people’s reviews so take your time and do some reading too).
I first bought an Epson projector because it’s a “brand” name. It was beautiful and easy to navigate. I didn’t even have to read the instructions BUT I returned it because it turned out to be a pain to try and attach external speakers to it.

-What I was looking for: A simple projector to watch movies outdoors with the family (we have two nieces ages 6 and 4). I didn’t want something super expensive because I knew that we would only use it a few times a year, hence it made no sense to me to spend a ton of money on a projector AND external speakers. I just wanted something fun for the girls (let’s face it, what do kids know about great movie/sound quality?)
We’re not picky people so I wasn’t looking for movie theater quality picture and sound. All I wanted was something fun to share with the family.

-What I found: If you’re looking for movie theater quality picture and sound you’re going to HAVE to spend thousands of dollars on a projector and external speakers. If that’s not a problem for you, then go for it. If you’re just looking to have some fun with the family find something that won’t break the bank BUT remember that you get what pay for. So if you buy one of those $99 projectors, don’t expect greatness.

    -Pros: GREAT family projector.
Picture is clear and crisp. Easy to navigate once you figure out how to do it ; )
Giant screen if you have the room to move your projector back so you get the screen size you want. We played an hour and forty movie for the girls and when it was over the projector was not hot. Not even warm to the touch. We did not notice the noise from the fan at all but keep in mind that we were outdoors and not sitting next to it. I did try it indoors first to figure out how to use it and even then I did not think the fan was very loud.

-Cons: Despite what the product description says, the projector speakers ARE NOT LOUD. You are going to need external speakers.
The instructions for the projector are written weird. It’s really hard to understand them but after playing around for a few minutes I had it down. It’s not rocket science so don’t let that deter you from getting this projector.

BOTTOM LINE: So far I’m totally happy with this projector. I recommend it if like us, you’re looking to have fun with your family. Our first outdoor movie night went great.
For sound I bought a 25ft long audio/video cable and connected that to the headphone jack of the projector and then I connected the other end to one of those Costco square portable black speakers and that worked for us. I also tried it with the computer speakers we have and that worked too (indoors, when I was trying to figure out what to use for sound).
I already had a VGA cable to connect my iPad/iPhone to the projector via their included HDMI cable and stream Disney+ for the movie we saw.

Again, I’m very happy with this purchase and I recommend it.

I will update my review as we get more use out of it.

After setting up the projection system outside at a distance of 10 feet it created a screen size of 86 inches by 51 inches. I also mounted a projection screen on a flat sheet of MDF that made the image of the projector really pop out. I was pleasantly surprised at the clarity of not only the image but the edge clarity (this is a common problem with projection systems). The edges were as sharp as the center was. After looking at some sporting events I was also pleased with the lack of delay or jerkiness during the fast action across the screen. The brightness (LUX and Lumens) is outstanding. The multiple input ports are great for connecting different source types. It does create quite a bit of heat that you have to make allowances for if you put it in a box as I did for keeping it outside hanging under our patio roof. It would be a nice feature (maybe future enhancement) to have a sizing mechanism so that it could be mounted at any distance (within reason) and create the screen size you want. I had to measure exactly the distance between the projector and screen to get the correct screen dimensions to fit within the screen size I had mounted on the wall. Remote focus also would be nice. Another feature to add would be an automatic lens cover that opens when the unit powers up. I am sure the price would be more for these additions but may be worth it. The speakers are adequate for indoors but I used the 3mm headphone port to drive a small sound system. For the price this is a great value for creating a large screen for viewing your media.

Have used this projector for several months and recently bought one more for work. Very happy with the quality and ease of use. Highly recommended! See previous more detailed review below.

I was specifically looking for something that would work well in normal room lighting for presentations and screen sharing. After much research I decided to give this one (GooDee Video Projector 3600L) a try. In a nutshell – it was a good decision! Honestly, it works better than I was expecting it to. I have used it for about a month now.

Picture quality – the room light quality is pretty decent. The brightness and contrast are good enough to read text on screen in a classroom with ~15 people. The quality of course goes from good to great as ambient lighting is reduced.

Setup – the projector is sturdy and fairly lightweight. Was very easy to setup. I actually move it quite a bit for use in different places – and it has been easy enough. I get best results when the projector is set at a height of where the bottom of the projected screen is – dont set it up any lower as the edges of the screen will start blurring (true for any projector). No sounds from cooling fans etc – its pretty quiet.

Features: It has great speakers – which I wasnt expecting and was pleasantly surprised to discover! I would still connect my surround sound system for movies – but the built in one is sufficient for most other things. My favorite feature is how easy it connects to the phone and mirrors the screen (I purchased a HDMI adapter cable for my phone separately). You can also directly connect Roku and such streaming devices.

Overall, I like it and recommend it!

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI know they aren’t supposed to matter, but first impressions are a BIG deal to me. The packaging of this projector is SUPER nice and projects an initial feeling of quality. I have owned two projectors Prior to this one: A small “cube” projector and a budget-style $50 projector. Both of those were enough to satisfy my kids (4&6) but there were definitely features in the more basic projectors that sent me shopping for something better. I’m not a particularly avid movie-watcher so I couldn’t justify spending big bucks for one of the professional-style projectors, but I wanted one nice enough to permanently mount in my finished basement/movie room. After sifting through dozens of projectors on Amazon I stumbled upon this one and was impressed enough by the reviews to pull the trigger. I figured–if it didn’t live up to the hype I could always return it.

Well, a month later and I am happy to report that I still have the projector and I am eager to throw another positive review into the pile. The device itself is built with a very solid feel and is aesthetically pleasing. And as many other reviewers have stated–the sound is wonderful!! My cube projector lacked an internal speaker and the $50 projector I purchased had the most awful built-in sound that I wondered why they even bothered to include it? I had to use external AUX speakers or a bluetooth transmitter to separately-purchased speakers to get any kind of decent quality sound. It was such a nice surprise to finally find a projector whose internal audio source was sufficient. As another bonus, the fan sound is minimal and makes my cheap projector sound like a lawnmower.

The picture quality is wonderful as well. The brightness and contrast were such a huge upgrade from my other cheaper projectors that it made me wonder how I tolerated their images before? The image looks great even just projected on the wall but looks phenomenal on a budget projection screen. My kids were so excited to see the improved quality that they felt like they were at a movie theater. It was cool seeing their reactions mirror mine: the GooDee Projector was a solid 5 stars with us!
