Brilliant product so far, only used it twice + it’s as described. I’m a size 18 + 24links is just enough to fit snug around my waist. It’s definitely NOT an evening excerise, due to the noise of the runners against the plastic so bare that in mind if for example you have children in bed who are light sleepers hahaha! Can’t wait to see results over the next few months!
I will admit, this hoop is loud, and it does take some practice, but once you’ve cracked it – BRILLIANT!! It’s not a massively strenuous work out, but it’s a work out all the same!!
Even better if you have someone to share the laughs with… and the little tap on the butt the ball does as it loses momentum – hysterical!!
It was easy to assemble, nowhere as loud as I was thinking. People are saying it is loud and, yes, it does make a noise but it’s not as loud as people are describing it as. I am so happy with this product and definateley recvoment it!!
Very easy to use and put together. If used at a steady speed, it doesn’t come apart. It’s only when attempting the world record of how fast you can hula hoop does it unclip itself. It is noisy, but what else would you expect from metal bearings in a plastic hoop? Not sure how it could be made quieter.
Its exactly like the picture however its made of a cheap flimsy plastic. If you use it too fast its likely to come undone and the weighted ball will go flying – so don’t use it around mirrors, monitors or electrics. Another problem is if you use it too fast and too often then the weighted ball will slowly sand down the sides of the links. This isn’t a problem yet but I can only imagine the damage after consistent use.
This is not to say that the hoop doesn’t do its job, ive successfully lost 2 inches off my waist from continuous use. However the risk of it breaking some of my items has caused me to use it less.
If you’re going to use this as a once in a while exercise then this is for you, but if you intend on using it for an extended period id recommend spending a bit more and getting one that’s made of a better plastic.
It took me seconds to assemble, also the weight is pre filled so no messing a round unlike the more expensiveand about 20 minutes to get the hang of it . Once you’re in a rhythm then you can carry on which I did for half an hour .. loving it . Happy 2023 !!!
