Rocoren 67W USB C Plug, MacBook Charger GaN 65W 4-Port PD3.0 QC4.0 PPS Compact Fast Charger, Compatible with MacBook Pro/Air, iPad Pro, iPhone, Galaxy S23, Huawei MateBook, ROG Ally, Pixel and more
This is a nice charger. The build quality is top-notch, and it exudes durability. I like its compact design, making it incredibly convenient for travel or daily use. With multiple ports, it’s a versatile charger that lets me power up multiple devices simultaneously.
One thing to note is that it can get slightly warm when charging several devices at once, but it doesn’t hinder its overall performance. Also, the item is rather heavy for an item of that size, perhaps that is a good thing.
Obviously, I don’t think this item will provide the maximum watts under simultaneous use from all ports, watt levels have become somewhat of a black magic nowadays. You need to have the right device, a lot depends on the cable and it’s gauge. You have to buy quality cables, and if you want to be specific, a watt meter that goes on the wall. An app on a phone cannot determine the watts or amps of a charge accurately as the current has already been through some circuitry by the time it’s analysed. I do not own such a device so I can’t prove the 67W part.
In my experience, it has been very quick at charging all sorts of items, even on the outdated type A port.
I keep this charger in my everyday carry bag with me.
It is ideal for charging all of my devices on the go and is especially useful when I have limited access to plug sockets.
It charges my devices fast and the auto load balancing feature when an extra device is connected works well prioritising devices that require more power and providing them with it.
Highly recommend especially if you do not want to carry around multiple chargers.
Excellent compact charger. I got this to replace my laptop charger and also allow an extra port for charging my phone at the same time. I’ve been using it for a week and now leaving my original laptop power brick at home and can carry a little bit less in my rucksac.
When powering multiple devices it does get slightly warm but I see that with similar larger chargers I use at home when my phone is on rapid charge.
The charging speed for a single device is really good. It becomes a bit slower if you charge multiple devices at the same time, but that should be expected.
It has 4 charging ports, so this might be the only charger you need to carry with you. The different ports have different power ratings, which vary depending on which other ports are in use, so it is worth familiarising yourself with this to get the best out of it.
It is an excellent charger for the price.
Charges my HP Elitebook 1030 x360 just did a test, not actually left it to charge for long. Also charges my Google pixel 8pro and pixel watch 2 at the same time at rapid charge speed. will try to update again as I use this charger.
In today’s tech-centric world, a reliable charger is essential. This 67W USB C plug emerges as a worthy contender. Powered by GaN5 technology, it’s not only efficient but also remarkably compact. With multiple ports available, juggling between devices for charging becomes history. The safety features embedded ensure peace of mind. Its design is neat, making it a travel-friendly option for those on the move. Charging, after all, shouldn’t be cumbersome.
This USB plug charger in fact I sent adapter is very easy to obviously carry around and to take whatever you want with you and is very productive and effective because he does give out a huge output which is brilliant for any charging cable if you wish to charge your phone really well then I’d definitely recommend this obviously any USB would fit into this and I would recommend it for anyone who is actually wanting to get themselves a travel adapter like this because it’s effective is sufficient and it’s not big so it doesn’t cause any hassle and it does the job really well.
This is a great plug to use to charge up to 4 devices at once, and with fast charging. This eliminates the need for multiple plugs and therefore multiple power outlets, so space saving. Good value too. Feels well made and doesn’t get hot during use.
It’s the perfect charger for me. I have a MacBook Pro, an iPad Pro, and an iPhone, and this charger can charge all of them at the same time. It’s also very compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to take with me when I travel. All of my devices charge quickly and efficiently. I’ve also noticed that the charger doesn’t get hot, even when I’m charging all of my devices atthesametime.
This-charge MacBook charger has been a good addition to my tech bag. The charging speed is a lot faster than the standard charger, which has been a huge time-saver when I’m in a rush. The build quality feels robust, making it reliable for daily use. One of the other benefits is its compact size, ideal for travel or clutter-free desk setup. It hasn’t exhibited any overheating issues, which is reassuring. The price seemed to be fair as the performance and convenience make it well worth purchasing.
I don’t see why not to like this. It is well made, feels good on the hand, and, most importantly, it comes with more ports than competitors.
Usually, power bricks around 65W have either 2 USB-C only, or 1 USB-C and 1 USB-A. This one has 3 USB-C and 1 USB-A. That is amazing, I have it on my desk, and it powers everything: my 45W laptop, a USB lamp, my watch charger and my phone charger, all from 1 brick.
The packaging is simple but decent as well, similar to other brands, so it is also a great gift option.
This is a very nice little 67w plug adapter. And little is the operative word. It’s no bigger than the single USB plug I use ony phone… but this can charge a laptop. Fantastic. It is well made and works flawlessly. Thoroughly recommend.
Sick of the tangle of multiple chargers on my desk, I opted for this. With its compact size, I was initially unsure, but it charges my devices efficiently, and all at once. The safety features give peace of mind, especially when I forget and leave things plugged in. It’s become a staple in my workspaceandtravelbag
Instead of carrying around various charges for my gadgets, I can just use this one. I probably only charge one of my gadgets at a time but with a watch that needs charging once a week, a phone most days and a tablet every two or three days, just using the one unit is quick and efficient. It’s a small and light charger but goes beyond the power required for all of my gadgets. I don’t know this brand but it works very well and I can even charge some of my old fashion light strips on the USB A outlet. Essentially, this unit stops too much voltage from going to any of the gadgets so they cannot be overcharged. It feels a good and solid build.
Juggling multiple devices in need of charging isn’t a task I particularly relish. With this charger, I’ve been able to power up multiple devices without the bulk of carrying multiple chargers. The compact nature combined with its efficient power distribution has made my tech life simpler. But the real test will be how it holds up over time with regular usage.
This is a great way of eliminating multiple chargers. It has plenty of power to charge up devices at the same time, but you only get 67w output on 2 of the ports and only if the one port is in use. You will need to refer to the Amazon page to work out which of the 15 possibilities will suit your needs. For me I have all 4 in use, but not always at the same time, so as I take a device off charge, the power changes on the others. For example, If I use the top 2 ports I get 45w and 20w, but if I remove from charge one of these, the remaining port goes up to 67w. It is a bit confusing, but if like me you are charging up overnight, then it doesn’t matter that much.
I don’t always need 4 ports, but there are occasions when I can have my phone, watch, tablet and Kindle charge up overnight. If I need a fast charge, I just don’t connect anything else.
It has performed well up to now and has been a great way to free up wall sockets.
A 67W (max) charger with 4 outputs, 3 are USB-C, one is USB-A.
As is normal for this type of charger, the top ports are the more powerful, with power output dropping the lower down you go.
With all 4 ports connected, the top port is 35W, 2nd is 20W and the remaining 2 12W each. With just the top port in use, that can manage 65W.
I like chargers like this, as if reduces the number of chargers plugged in. Also, they are great for travelling, as it’s just a single charger.
I wanted one capable of charging my DJI Mini 3 Pro as fast as possible, and still able to charge the phone at the same time. This fits that requirement perfectly, as the drone’s battery hub is 30W, controller is 15W, and the iPhone can plug in the USB-A port.
Like all chargers of this type, when plugging devices in, the charger resets itself, so pauses charging for a few seconds. This is perfectly normal, and does not indicate a fault.
Aside from being a nice and compact charger it can do up to 67W fast charging. The box makes it clear which ports are the fastest and which ones are best to double up on.
Honestly, I’m not going to look at the list again and I’m not going to remember which combo does which. But it’s straight forward that top is fastest and slower as you go down.
It’s works well and the quality is good. I’m happy with it.
It’s perfect, charges very well and fast, and has a good weight and quality to it. I really like that it has 3 USB-C slots, as I was definitely missing them! Overall I am very happy, I can now sort out charging various devices without a headache! Recommended.
Using my normal phone charger my phone charges at a normal rate, using this charger my phone goes to turbo charge. I’ve also charged my amazon fire hd 10 plus tablet and a usb fan, all three at once without any issues. The actual charger is a weighty and solid little thing and feels like it will last. I haven’t used this charger to it’s full extent but i see no reason why it won’t perform as stated.
Very small for the 67W power it is capable of delivering.
Feels solid and of high quality.
Note, the total power it can charge at is 67W – so if you have multiple items charging at the same time the power to each item will be limited – see the attached drawings that describe this.
I tested by charging my laptop via USB-C1 (top one) and it charged my laptop at just the same speed as the original power supply, which is a 65W rated unit. So I have confidence that the specification and capability is correct. The little unit heated up but not excessively, so it is quite efficient.
Happy to recommend this charger….
Well made and solid. Charges devices rapidly.
Output of up to 67w charging using a single port. Reduced output if using multiple ports.
Currently reduced to 22 which makes it decent value for a powerful charger.
Recommended.
Review for Rocoren 67W USB C Plug, MacBook Charger GaN 4-Port PD3.0 QC4.0 PPS Compact Fast Charger,
The build quality on this unit feels very good and the unit does its charging function well.
The unit has 3 USB C sockets and the addition of a single USB A socket is welcome.
The charging/power output sockets have differing wattage outputs depending on how the unit is used. I have not been able to check the unit to its maximum level but in my testing, the unit performed as expected charging an iPhone, iPad, Android phone and also a power bank in a good time comparable with the original adaptors.
The unit also ran as cool as other chargers of this type, however as the unit connected to this unit controls how much power the unit outputs I have not been able to check this when the unit is in maximum use.
In Conclusion a good all-round product.
Anything that reduces the amount of stuff that I have to carry around in my briefcase always gets my full attention! I carry around my phone, tablet, laptop and Kindle and have numerous mains charging packs and leads for these devices. This amazing design charger is much smaller than my current laptop charger pack (Mac Book M1) and allows me to charge all of my devices at the same time (great if there is a shortage of mains sockets nearby) and also, as I have already mentioned, saves some room in my briefcase.
It gets a little bit warm if I plug everything into it at the same time (plus the laptop charging time increases a little (ie power output decreases) but that is entirely to be expected (and the current charger I use also gets warm if it’s used for a long time too!). It may seem obvious but the built in 3 pin plug is also a plus – Apple chargers dont have this and so you have to carry about a 3 pin plug adapter too, plus any other EU/USA mains adapters.
Very much recommend for anyone who wants a good quality charger that they can trust to use with their laptop whilst at the same time doubling up as a highly versatile charger for just about any other device that you are carrying around. It has a USB 3 port and 3 USB C ports (as you can, of course, see in the description of the device). if you want to save some space in your computer case this is the item to do it!
The video goes into much more detail, including full efficiency testing and an overview of how best to use the ports. Really, you only need to see the first half of the video – the second half is just the efficiency testing that I included so you can see how I tested and that I didn’t just pluck numbers out of thin air.
However, in a nutshell:
Things I liked:
+ Solid performance. Two charging circuits([ports 1 & 2] and [ports 3 & 4]), so keep your high-powered devices in ports 1 and 2 and low powered ones in 3 and 4. Importantly, DON’T plug low-powered devices into port 1 or 2 at the same time as a high-powered device is charging. It’s not dangerous, but your high-powered device will only slow charge at the lower rate. See the video for more on this.
+ Reasonable efficiency – 82-85%, meaning 15-18% of the electricity used by this device is lost as heat, heating your charger up. This is about par for USB chargers.
+ Decent pricing – reasonable for what you get (about 22 after vouchers applied).
Things I didn’t like:
– I can’t tell you how durable it will be as I’ve not used it for long enough. Make sure you look at other reviews from verified purchasers to determine the durability.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, the price is fair and the performance is good.
