Really happy with this. I’ve had others in the past including fm transmitters and the background noise drove me mad. Really happy! Connecting sound is pleasant also ( No loud shouting just a low beep)
Works great in my bog standard spec bmw 1 series. Calls are clear.
Edit:
Be carefully where you place it, in night driving the blue illustration is very bright and distracting, lucky I placed mine low down on dash but had I of put it higher in my eyeline it would have been very distracting. Knocked my review to 4 star for this reason.
As someone with an older car lacking modern Bluetooth connectivity, discovering the Rolgno Car Bluetooth AUX Adapter has been amazing! This device bridges the gap between older and newer technology seamlessly, allowing for effortless streaming of music from my phone to the car’s sound system.
The Bluetooth connectivity is notably reliable. Pairing the device with my phone was a breeze, and the connection remains stable during use, which is crucial for uninterrupted music enjoyment. The sound quality is decent, certainly an upgrade from the traditional methods of playing music in older cars.
What stands out about this adapter is its simplicity. The ‘Plug and Play’ functionality isn’t just a marketing phrase; it genuinely is that straightforward. You plug it into the USB for power and connect the 3.5mm jack to your auxiliary input. That’s it — no complicated setup or fiddly installation.
It’s worth mentioning how this adapter revitalses an older car’s sound system. It effectively brings newer technology to vehicles that were left behind in the Bluetooth revolution, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to modernize their driving experience without the need for expensive upgrades.
In summary, I’m thoroughly impressed with the Rolgno Car Bluetooth AUX Adapter. Its ease of use, reliable connectivity, and the ability to stream high-quality audio make it an essential purchase for anyone with an older car. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to add Bluetooth functionality to their vehicle. It’s a small investment for a significant improvement in your daily drive.
I have a 14 year-old much-loved Peugeot 308SW and this Bluetooth receiver fitted perfectly. With the small addition of a 3.5mm stereo socked to twin RCA Phono adaptor cable (my car has aux phono sockets hidden in the glove compartment) it brings the car’s audio system into the modern world.
It’s easy to set up, the cables were the right length for me, the sound is great and audio control is a breeze.
Excellent device at an excellent price.
Not extensively tested phone calls so I can’t confirm if it works in tandem with the car microphone or not but connects quickly & easily and the quality seems good. Only bought it because my new phone hasn’t got an aux jack and my radio doesn’t have bluetooth.
On the plus side
This is a handy little receiver, which pairs quickly and easily with my iPhone 14 and supplies good-quality sound via the Aux line to the speakers in my tatty old car. Functionality is great, volume controls and stop/start/forward/back buttons work fine. Haven’t tried it to make phone calls.
It comes with self-adhesive pads to attach it to car surfaces, but frankly it’s just as convenient to use it loose and then pop it away in the glove box before leaving the car. One less thing to attract undesirables.
On the down side:
– The instruction manual is too small to read. The type is absolutely minute and you would need a magnifying glass to be able to decipher it.
– It is not rechargeable. It needs to be permanently connected to a Bluetooth outlet in order to work. If you car is ancient as mine it won’t have one of these, so you’ll have to resort to an adapter that fits into the cigar lighter slot. Fortunately I already had one, so no sweat there. But you do end up with a jumble of wires in the car.
Generally very pleased with this though.
