Love this watch so much. A big upgrade from a Fitbit charge 4. Love the way it looks. Features are very clear. Quick charging and a perfect fit. Performance is great. The only problem is the battery life could be better but I still love it.
This really is let down by the battery. I turn wifi and bluetooth off, and only contect the watch at the end of the day to check the results. I turned auto brightness off, and set the display to a much dimmer setting, which is fine. The watch is really nice, the display is crystal clear, oin point sharp, the strap is good, everything is good, but the battery is not really fit for purpose.
Fantastic watch. Love that it monitors health and fitness and it is incredibly lightweight and comfortable. And it was very easy to set up even for the very much older generation!
I don’t need to write a long review on this beautiful Samsung watch. All I can say that the watch is beautiful . I can listen to my audio books or use spotify , use the sports modes when working out in the gym and keep on top of all my messages. I highly recommend it. I am hooked on my watch. Absolutely love it.
I love this watch, battery lasts two days with constant use. Would go longer if I didn’t use it so much, comfortable to wear and easy to clean strap with soapy water.
Connects to my phone with ease, receive messages and reminders all the time no trouble.
Step counter is fair for what I need, I haven’t checked if it accurate. But it gives me a fair idea of how I’m doing.
Over all, I’ve have no problems. It works really well for me
My first smart watch and it’s great. The 40mm is more than enough as I have a smallish wrist. As I work from home it’s easy to get lost in my work and forget to move but the watch reminds me to get up and do some stretching. I also use it for steps and heart rate monitoring.
I bought this to replace and upgrade my wife’s Amazfit 4 mini which he’d been happy with for a year. This Samsung watch is a step up in quality and function. I doubt my wife will make the most of the functions but she really likes it.
Initially she was going mad over the required frequency of recharging. She had to recharge it at least once per day. However, I realized that she had ‘DISPLAY ALWAYS ON’. Once I turned this off the battery lasted much longer. It now lasts between 2 and 3 days which she is happy with. This is longer than my daughters new Apple Watch. Another advantage over the Apple Watch is that not only can my wife answer calls on the watch, she can also MAKE calls from it, if she wanted to.
We are both pleased with the watch now we figured out how to extend the battery.
Got this for the wife and she is extremely happy with it. I have the galaxy watch 6 classic and this works just aswell with the digital bezel.
The screen Is alot small that the classic but its perfect for a woman with small wrists.
Very responsive and Easy to use with alot of watch faces.
One thing that should come with the watch is maybe metal band and a screen protector, it’s the only reason I give it 4 stars as its an expensive item and should come with a screen protector.
Absolutely love it. I had the original Samsung watch classic, which I decided was well overdue an upgrade. It has soo much more to offer and I’m very pleased with it and all the features. It was easy enough to set up. It’s linked to my phone so when it goes on charge my phone tells me when its fully charged so i don’t have to keep checking on it. It doesn’t take long to charge.
It automatically tracks routes and walks if you forget to set one when you go out. My old watch would log the steps but not the route.
I love the upgraded sleep tracking on this watch. It breaks every thing down and tells you each section of your sleep pattern and where you are on track. It monitors your BP and stress levels much more effectively. There are so many more watch face choices to choose from and different ways to customise them. It is lighter than my previous watch.
I’ve gone for the sport version rather than the classic this time and I love the sleek look of it, it’s very smart and I love the strap which does up on the inside so the end doesn’t hang out and get caught on everything. I love this watch and am very happy with this purchase.
It also comes with a free duo charger which you have to claim for on the Samsung website, this took minutes and was very easy to do. It went through straight away and it takes 45 days to get sent out to me.
Lots of other benefits to this watch too many to list. Very glad to have it.
My old smartwatch broke and I started looking for a new one. After several researches, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 ticked all the boxes. Absolutely love it, very easily connected to my phone ( Android) It is very accurate in calculating steps and monitoring sleep and heart rate compared to my old watch. The watch also has a water lock to use while having a shower, it is protecting from unnecessary step counting and opening apps. For some reason, I am unable to download the health monitoring app to check ECG and blood pressure ( I am sure the Samsung team will help me with it) The Samsung health app is very easy to read and gives some tips to improve. In general, I am very happy with my new smart-looking watch. The watch has met all my expectations The only negatives: *Does not connect to IOS * battery doesn’t last more than 2 nights * unable to download the health monitoring app, but I am sure I’ll be able to soon

This is a replacement for a Fitbit and I’m glad I was able to swap. This watch is very stylish. The charging lead is a c connection. Setting up is easy enough and you you can link up with your phone. For me this is a very handy situation. To be able to see who is calling or sending messages without having to look at my phone. You can set which notifications for which apps you want to receive on the phone. The display is clear and bright. The health functions are interesting. There are different apps and functions that can be used and added. The steps, calories and activity times are logged as well as sleep, heart rate. I’m still learning the different features but so far I am highly impressed with style, function and quality.
The Galaxy Watch 6 smart watch with the new strap design and the larger screen is a welcome update especially with the Wear OS.
The design is fresh and sleek with a certain modern minimalism when the screen is off but when the 40mm display is activated, the watch comes alive.
The included strap is sporty and comfortable to use during the day’s normal activities as well as for sports.
The best thing about the strap however is that it has a quick release mechanism and swapping it out for a more elegant evening wear type strap is easy. There are already plenty of designs to choose from making this watch versatile for every situation, occasion and season.
There are so many options these days for WearOS watches but very few that support the latest OS. In my opinion, Samsung has done it the best.
Setup is easy, especially when paired with a Samsung phone and connectivity never falters.
The design is just great with tiny bezels, great build quality while maintaining a light weight. The screen itself is pin sharp with outstanding brightness when outdoors, a definite improvement over previous generation and I don’t need to use my hand to shade it anymore on sunny days.
Health tracking has been great, metrics consistent with my other devices and autodetection of workouts has been very reliable as has sleep tracking.
Body composition is about as accurate as the composition scale I have and works well for measuring trends more than 100% accuracy. This applies to the scales too so to have this on your wrist instead is awesome.
Now I have the 40mm and battery will last me the day and sleep tracking. If I have a particularly busy day tracking walks and GPS, it will still last the day but will either need to go on charge before bed or will need a top up if I intend to use sleep tracking This is not really that big a deal as the watch charges surprisingly quickly quick 20 mins before bed will net me more than enough for the night.
One issue that I’ve run in to and it might not bother you at all and is not a dealbreaker for me is, despite having a newer CPU this year, the OS still has it’s stutters. If waking from not using it for a while or quickly swiping through the tiles, things can occasionally take a second or two to respond or stutter which does hurt the experience a little.
One feature that cannot be overlooked for those with different work and personal phones, is the ability to switch what phone the watch is paired to without factory resetting. This is something I’ve been wanting for years and from what I can tell, Samsung are the only ones to do it.
Notifications, music control and google assistant all work great and I’ve been really enjoying this watch. The Watch 6 & Classic series are in my opinion, the very best android smartwatches to date.
When I checked the size of the watch 6 series in a flagship store, i was worried whether the watch dial was to enormous for my little wrist. However, when I tested the features of this watch 6, I was amazed about how many things this watch can do, and the size of the screen didn’t matter anymore.
I can even make calls with this watch and wondering how versatile watches have becomes, so much that classic watch would go out of trend soon. Watch 6 has impressed me with all the body measurements features, such as ECG, stress, muscle and fat composition and even blood pressure after calibration with a standard blood pressure meter. It can also track my sleep and give me indications of how long were my sleeping phases. It connects with my Samsung flip 5 with ease and they both work in symbiosis.
I find it easier to pay with my watch6 now and I can’t go back to old ways. The features are sleek and smart.
I knocked one star out because its battery didn’t hold longer than a day.
After my first week with the Samsung galaxy watch 6 I have to say, it’s a great smart watch with a lot of health and fitness based features. To start with, as a smart watch it’s really quite good. It took a couple of days to get used to running my finger around the screen to scroll but now it feels natural and quick. The screen is bright and crisp. I do like the always on display but I have found that the battery lasts a fair bit longer with it turned off. The notifications are better that with other smartwatches I have tried before, in particular with WhatsApp with its stand one app allowing me to not only see new messages as they arrive but also read through all my previous messages too. I also like the ability to pull calls from my phone to the watch, quite handy when you need to go hands free. There is also a calculator on the watch! More useful than you might think!! Now, where it really excels is the health and fitness tracking. The auto detection of activities had been spot on, and has picked up walks, runs and bike rides accurately, stoping and starting with no input from me. It can they auto upload to Strava! Very cool. Likewise, the sleep tracker seems accurate, but more importantly for me, it’s comfortable to wear to bed. Previous smart watches I’ve owned I’ve not been able to sleep through the night, having to take it off. Lastly, I was very surprised by the amount of checks the watch can actually do, from ECG and heart rate (I knew about these) to the less advertised stats such as body fat %. And it’s so easy to take the readings too. For me, if you have a Samsung phone (or I guess most android devices) the watch 6 can do everything you are likely to need from a watch, and so much more.

This remarkable timepiece is not just a watch; it’s a companion that has brought a new level of insight and convenience to my routine. I was in need of a new smartwatch, my current model lacked the health and fitness features of newer smart watches. I couldn’t be more impressed with the Samsung watch6. The innovative featured like the ecg and blood pressure monitor, who’d have thought a watch could do that? Being able to track sleeping patterns, fitness patterns and be able to keep track of calories burned. The features of this watch are amazing. No need to bring your card out with you, simply use Samsung pay and pay for shopping wit your watch! The battery life has proven great, even with the display on all the time. Thoroughly impressed.
Firstly I love the aesthetics of this watch and how easy it is to change the straps, yes I have bought 2 additional within the 2 weeks of owning and it is so simple to do. I love all the customisation options for the display and it is very easy to do. I have been using all the health apps and monitoring all my exercise a lot more closely, I have become competitive with myself to ensure all my daily goals are met and have found this to be massively motivational. I really like the way it is compatible with my phone, and I have not missed a notification yet. So far it’s proving it’s worth and I am sure I can shed those last few pounds.
First Impressions
Wowser! Sleek, lightweight and beautiful. Thank goodness for the change to the strap that means no more catching or adjusting as it now tucks in. It’s more cream than rose gold.
Battery life
I charged the watch to 100% and wore it from 8am till 10.30pm (12.5hours) it was 46%. I applied the tips below and did the same it was at 76%.
So Battery Top Tips
-switch off always on display
-battery saving mode is your friend.
*my watch is set to vibrate instead of sound.
Screen looks tough but I am risk averse due to some of exercises I do(KB snatch et al) so I got a lightweight screen protector. A pity Samsung don’t sell them.
Health
BP, ECG, Stress and all of that same as the Watch 4. It does autodetect exercise some better than the others. Swimming on point. Circuits and cardio type stuff is autodetected as “other workout” Top tip Set up your favourite exercises on a watch face so you have 1 tap access.
It’s a definite Improvement on previous versions.
This is the first smart watch I’ve owned. I really love the style of the watch, this is the 40mm and personally I wouldn’t have wanted a bigger watch face. I was worried scratching the watch face, but it seems quite robust. The strap that is comes with is comfortable and looks really nice with the watch face, although a little bit fiddly to put on (not as easy as a clasp).
It was really easy to set up and link to my phone. The image on the watch is really clear, and the notifications are easy to read.
I’ve used the running tool on the fitness app and it was really easy to use and easy to track as exercising. Also working at a desk all day it often reminds me to get up and stretch my legs when I’ve been sat down for too long!! I like being able to track my activity throughout the day to see how many steps I’ve taken.
I’ve also used the sleeping app, although I have found it a bit uncomfortable wearing it at night.
I have the time showing permanently, so the battery can run down quite quickly because of this, but it generally lasts a day and a bit.
I am really impressed with how easy it is to use the watch and its functions, I would definitly recommend.
I am absolutely thrilled with my new Samsung Watch 6! From the moment got it out of the box and put it on, I was impressed by its sleek design and comfortable fit. The clear display and responsive touch controls make it a joy to use. But it’s the range of features that truly wowed me — from fitness tracking that keeps me motivated to the seamless integration with my smartphone for notifications on the go. First 5k run completed this morning and as soon as I’d finished it uploaded straight to my phone and my well known 3rd party fitness seemlessly. The battery life has been impressive, easily lasting through my busy days even when tracking fitness activities. This watch has quickly become an essential part of my daily routine, including tracking my sleep and I can’t wait to explore all its capabilities further!
