A little bit smaller than anticipated and it doesn’t hold much dirt.
The bag is awkward to remove once full of dirt and when charging the mini cleaner you have to remove the nozzles which is a pain. It’s quite an expensive device for what it’s capable of. I must admit I’m a little disappointed

It would be also good to have a small brush for cleaning dust container.
Another point to add, this hand vacuum has extraction vents on both sides of the vacuum which quite often blows the dust away. Not very clever engineering design.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s designed to be on display the packaging says, and they’re right. It’s a good looking, sturdy feeling product, that actually delivers on it’s promises. It does what it says on the tin perfectly.

Having it in the centre of my kitchen makes it so convenient to clean as I go, when cooking, similarly, it’s so portable and easy to use anywhere, in any room.

A product I’d struggle to do without now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best handheld vacuum I've ever used.

The vacuum is wonderful. Strong suction and easy to fit the tools that come with it. Easy to empty too. I have rheumatoid arthritis so I won’t say it’s lightweight but it was manageable. I do think they could have provided a little brush to clean the filter but they didn’t so lost a star for being mean. I am glad I bought it though because it’s ideal for doing under the fire, the windowsills around plants etc, crumbs in the kitchen & all those tight spaces.
Just don’t buy the filters currently offered on the same page because they’re the wrong ones. This machine has oblong shaped filters. The ones on the page are round so don’t fit! I had the inconvenience of having to return them

Remarkably powerful little machine that replaced an ageing B&D. This is a quantum leap compared to that – and will actually hoover up stuff where the old one was only just capable of sucking up little dust bunnies and other lightweight items.
We’ve only had it a month so long term performance remains to be seen but so far it’s a very useful thing to have around.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am absolutely thrilled with the Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner! This little powerhouse has transformed my cleaning routine. Its lightweight design and powerful suction make it a breeze to clean up messes around the house, whether it’s crumbs on the kitchen counter or pet hair on the upholstery and even taking it out to use on the car! The convenience of being cordless means I can easily move from room to room without any hassle. And the bonus is it looks good, very good!

This little handheld hoover is perfect for a quick whiz around the kitchen or bedroom rather than getting the full hoover out. It’s powerful and picks up everything. It does only last 15 mins before it needs charged again and would recommend emptying it every time you use it.

This really is a cut above the rest when it comes to handheld vacuums. Very powerful and come with great strong attachments. It’s definitely better than any other handheld I’ve bought. The reason I’m deducting one star is that the dust cup is very small which given the length/size of vacuum I thought they could have made it bigger – it means you have to empty it mid use when you’re using it for anything more than a minor clean up, which can be annoying.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersWhat a powerful handheld vacuum I have used others but they do not compare to this one. Great even when one has pets. Easy to use just remember battery lasts 15 minutes so to be organised before hand. It does need charging after each use. I would give a 100% absolute love it even though a bit pricey but worth every penny

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersThis is a superb bit of engineering. It it stylish and surprisingly powerful for such a compact tool, has an excellent, handy stand which charges the thing and most impressively you empty the machine directly into the dustbin at the flick of a switch. Expensive but far superior to the others I have tried. The one drawback is that the unit functions for only a few minutes before needing to be recharged. I’ve had it for only three weeks and already the battery seems to be running out ever more quickly….

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI am absolutely thrilled with the Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner! This little powerhouse has transformed my cleaning routine. Its lightweight design and powerful suction make it a breeze to clean up messes around the house, whether it’s crumbs on the kitchen counter or pet hair on the upholstery. The convenience of being cordless means I can easily move from room to room without any hassle.

The battery life is impressive, allowing me to tackle multiple cleaning tasks on a single charge. Emptying the dustbin is a cinch, and the filter system keeps the air fresh as I clean. What truly sets this handheld vacuum apart is its versatility — it comes with a range of attachments that make it suitable for various surfaces and hard-to-reach areas.

I’ve tried other handheld vacuums in the past, but the Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner has truly exceeded my expectations. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to simplify their cleaning routine and maintain a tidy home with minimal effort. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient cleaning companion!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI’m saddened that this little vac isn’t making everyone as happy as it makes me! – I’d go as far as saying it’s life changing.

I lack the health to do regular hoovering as much I’d like … and now I don’t need to – once a month will suffice.

The suction on this fantastic – the dust, hairs and fluff I collect is both embarrassing and joyful!.

My one bed bungalow has laminate floors and 3 large thick pile rugs – I can do all the floors and rugs on one charge.

Rug hoovering with my big vac would mean stopping and starting to catch a breath, but now I can sit down on the rug and hoover til my hearts content – and do as good a job too – if not better.
Another thing this little vac does is raise the pile – the rugs look like new when they’re done and I can do them as many times a day as I like – it’s perfect for when you’re expecting a visitor and only have minutes to look like you’ve not been sat on your bottom all day

The hair tool is so simple and yet it collects all the hair nto a hairball which then gets sucked into the vac.

The down sides are probably having to regularly clean or wash the filter – I can buy a spare but it would have been nice (and practical) to include one.

Another thing is the length of the vac when the crevice tool is attached – it’s awkwardly long which means you need to hold it quite far away from what you’re hoovering … I hoped I could use it to keep my venetian blinds dust free but it feels cumbersome … also it’s too heavy in an outstretched arm for me.
It’s good for skirting boards though.

I read they do a mattress attachment which I might purchase (with my spare filter) – I believe it’s shaped to go either side of the piped edge.

All in all, I’m extremely happy and relieved to maintain a little bit more independence as I get older and slowly fall apa

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis is a great device for small jobs – vacuuming the car for example, or for small spills in the house – even doing the stairs. The suction is great. There is a ‘however’ though…

The first time I used it, I also used attachment with the lint strip – and it peeled off. I tweeted a moan at Shark and to their credit, they sorted me out with a large head in the same design, but obviously with a better lint strip on it. I use it all the time for our cars, and I love that you just drop it back in the cradle and that it’s always ready to go. Despite the first flat-head tools’ demise, the crevice tool is great, and I love the flip-back brush feature.

We also have a Dyson cordless in the house, mainly for the stairs and minor cat-related hair deposits, and while it’s more capable (it has a rotating brush head and a bigger bin), I still prefer the Shark for the car. And at more than double the price, I think I could live with just the Shark – though because we have the Dyson, I do still use that for the stairs.

The small bin isn’t an issue – it’s so easy to empty, and while other complain about the battery life, I can (just!) clean both our cars on one charge, though I do them regularly so they aren’t that bad. If your car is messy, then I don’t think this is for you…

This is a nicely made device and I’d give it 5 stars as purchased knowing it’s limits (small bin/battery life), but the tool failure first use knocks it down. For that reason, I’d have given it 3 stars but Sharks fast and helpful service mean I’m happy to give it 4 stars. If you have an issue, just be sure to get in touch with them.
