A great first smart watch bought one each for the kids – simple to use and nicely customizable (very important for a 10 year old). App works fine on Android, however a point to note is that the watch/app communicates by pretending to be an external keyboard, which on an older version of Android turned off the on-screen keyboard, and it took some time to diagnose and find the switch in the system settings to turn it back on again!!
5 stars to the company’s customer service, as we had an issue with one of the charging cables, although they couldn’t supply a replacement, offered us a new watch, albeit a different model as this one was out of stock so we didn’t take them up on that, and found a replacement charging cable on Amazon: https://amzn.eu/d/1qliAkc There are many very similar magnetic charging cables on Amazon with the correct pin spacing, but the others we tried were the wrong polarity. This is a pack of two with different polarities so one is bound to work.
Battery life is good – goes several days before needing a re-charge. Be cautious though of the magnetic charger attaching itself to something metal and shorting out your usb plug!
I recently bought this watch. It looks and feels great.
Very easy to set up as all you need to do is download the app and connect. Rest gets done automatically.
Screen resolution is good and it is very responsive.
Great value for money. I would absolutely recommend this.
Watch looks great on, has lots of features. Seems to be tracking activity as it should with a decent battery life. Easy to connect to app. Love how you can personalise the watch face with your own photo. Very pleased with my purchase. Well worth the money.
My mum has been using this watch for a week now and seems to like it,her only complaint is that that watch doesn’t reset the steps to zero at midnight and also seems to be recording mini steps even when the watch isn’t on her wrist, if anyone had any suggestions please advise.
With the 1.47 inch slimline face I much prefer this to my previous larger face which would catch on clothing and eventually break the strap. Having the dial instead of press function is more convenient and with the magnetic charger just plug it into such as my PC USB and so far with less than the recommended 2 hour full charging it has lasted longer than the 5-7 days each charge. There are many functions and especially the sports functions but my main reasons for using are the health related functions of heart rate/blood pressure/SPO2 + steps and messaging and the accuracy is within expectations for a smart watch in this price range compared to a blood pressure monitor as well as the convenience of being able to have a guide for these health readings/messaging when on the go (such as walking or tennis).
I already have a smart watch but spotted this one and thought it would be good to treat myself to a new one with all the latest technology and features. It is slimmer than my old one but the resolution is good so I can still see the time. Loading the app was easy. Connecting the phone also easy and it immediately showed the right time from the phone. The find phone function works well. Much better than my existing one. You can change the faces to something suitable which is a standard but nice feature. The selfie feature works well. It has all the expected functions for steps heart rate, sleep monitoring etc. I can’t say how accurate the step meter is nor the heart monitor feature. They are nice to haves but not a necessary feature for me. The message feature brought immediate messages through from WhatsApp. The music button works as expected. I really can’t fault this watch so far. It does all I would want and expect it to. I haven’t tested the make and receive calls yet but if I have any issues I will update this review accordingly.
Altogether I can’t fault this watch so far. Love it and it will almost certainly become my everyday watch from now on.
ADDENDUM Having used this watch for about a week, the battery doesn’t even last 3 days. I cannot be having a watch that I am needing to recharge this regularly. However the customer services team did the seller have been second to none and have dealt responsively and politely with my issue. I look forward to receiving a replacement which will hopefully have better battery life.
It is a good looking watch with so many features. My fitbit did exercise, heart rate and steps but this does so much more. Heart rate, Blood pressure, Blood oxygen rate, you can view messages, control music, setup timers.
It is easily controlled with its touch screen and side button and has its own app in the Android store.
The strap design looks good and also allows it to fit all sizes of wrist.
It comes with a magnetic charging cable a bit like the high end fitbits.
It is comfortable to wear. Battery life is very good lasting many days between charges. I would most definitely recommend this watch to anybody. The price is fantastic and it literally does everything you need it to.
So far, so acceptable. I don’t think it’s the most accurate for all of the wellness tracking bits, but I didn’t want it for that. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get it to record sleep either. Again, didn’t want it for that.
Everything else works fine, which is essentially…me not having to have my phone in my hand to change songs on Spotify, read messages, etc. Works fine and it’s relatively small in size, which is a huge plus point for me. I have very small wrists and most smart watches look absolutely comical on me.
If you want all the bells and whistles, obviously invest a bit more money into a higher spec model. For 19.99 and the purpose I bought it, I have no complaints.
considering the price its a lovely watch the screen quality is really clear, the battery most definitely does not last 5-7 days as advertised, the first charge i got 2 days from it, the second charge i went to bed with a full battery and woke u to it being dead. If you need to reconnect the bluetooth for whatever reason it doesn’t always register. it will do as a temporary measure. i cant comment about the accuracy as no watch is completely accurate.
The watch has a lovely clear screen which is touch controlled. The instructions were also easy to follow and once the app was installed on my smartphone I was able to install several different faces.
Overall a great looking watch with a lot of functions.
What I like about these watches is the variety of screen designs that you can choose from, if you’re like me – i like to change it up regularly.
The strap is good enough for kids or adults which is a winner and the screen is good too with excellent touch sensitivity.
Another fantasic thing about this watch – battery life! Charges fast and lasts much longer, even with heavy use, than big name and expensive brands.
Seems robust enough at the moment, I always worry about the strap where it connects to the watch itself as that is a failure point for other brands but so far, so good!
Sleep/Heartrate tracker – Im not super geeky on this, like the heartrate monitor bit, but it seems to be good enough to give me a good indication of how things are.
Overall, great watch and worth the money to invest.
