I absolutely loved this when I got it. Looks good, easy to set up and use, no messing with keys, stows nicely in my car door pocket and worked great for 6 months.
Then it started to play up and was getting hard to open and close.
Now it has totally given up!
Cannot extend it at all.
Very luckily it has stuck whilst not on the steering wheel otherwise god knows how I would have got it off without damaging the inside of my new car!!!
Been in touch with the supplier and will have to see if they are honourable to the guarantee.
I’m very disappointed at present and wonder if I could trust a replacement as I’ll be worried it gets stuck on the car, but I don’t want to be faffing around with more keys!
I will update once this is sorted one way or another.
Update: After a few reasonable questions the seller sent another lock.
It is working perfectly and I really hope it continues to do so.
It is perfect for what I need and I cannot find any other lock to fit the car as well as this one does.
I’ve upped the stars to 4 now as it is good and the seller is very good too.
If it lasts until the guarantee period, I would buy another if it fails after that, but I hope it doesn’t fail whilst locked on the car.
