On a ici un double cable de chargement pour joy-cons, vendu 9,99 euros hors promotion.
Il est fabriqu en Chine par la marque InnoAura.
On y trouve :
Plenty of length to plug this in wherever. It didn’t come with a USB wall charger, but I had plenty around the house. It plugged right into both my Nintendo and off brand joy-cons.
Just to reassure, there’s a typo in the description, it’s a 5.9 foot cord, not a 59 foot cord.
The cord assembly itself is pretty straightforward, it’s USB on one end, two cords coming out of that with a Joycon connector on the other end of each, pretty handy if you have more than two Joycon controllers so you don’t have to pick what gets charged off the controller and forget to charge some before friends come over to play, only to find out that you let batteries go dead. Easy, good fit, decently secure, enough room to move around while charging, it’s good to have.
Prodotto assolutamente consigliato.
Overall it does the job really well. I’ve only knocked a star off because once the Switch is charged, it has a, annoying habit of turning the screen on and off to show it’s 100% charged.
Other than that, it’s a great second dock. I bought it for my son’s bedroom, and the small footprint is ideal. The button on the back switches between HDMI output for the TV, or tabletop mode, and works perfectly.
Official dock died after 17 months and there’s no way I was shelling out for the new one at the price nintendo charges.
This one is very compact and would be great for travelling as it folds down into a tiny square.
Works well and switches between TV and charge only mode fine; cheap enough i might buy a 2nd one for my daughters room.
So its made of plastic and is very light, so much so that when setup it actually falls over with my switch in it so I have to lay it flat, I don’t really mind this because the whole purpose is to use to connect to my smart TV. Connection works fine, no issues with charging either. I use the original charger for my device and ive had no issues.
Bought as secondary unit for my 8 y/o lad to use on a telly upstairs. Seems to auto switch well. Have to be a bit more precise when placing switch on dock, otherwise does the job well so far. Rubber feet grip well on shiny shelf surfaces, which is good as it’s quite light. Will update if situation changes.
It connects to the power supply with a standard USB power lead but would not work with a generic USB power supply. An error message came up on the Switch screen saying that a genuine Nintendo power adaptor was needed and that did the trick.
Yeah, sounds like a marketing move rather than a genuine technical need and it spoilt what I wanted it for, which was to have a cradle ready when my girls bring their Switches without all the support gear. Now they have to remember to bring their power supply, too. So they may as well remember to bring their cradle too.
A standard HDMI cable worked though, it didn’t need a special Nintendo one LOL
Its pocket size and when folded up it will slide into my pocket with ease also very handy if you are on the go out and about the only down side of it is that to play and charge the switch at the same time you need to use the big plug adapter that comes with the Nintendo switch console it does make for better game playing in table top mode with pro controller top marks from me definitely a must have accessory for on the go or even as a second docking station for at home ie original docking station on your living room tv and a second one on your tv in your bedroom and last but not least on this mini dock it has all 3 cable ports
1) USB
2) HDMI
3) TYPE C SOCKET
I was a little dubious about getting this after reading other reviews, but it works well and I have had no issues. I am using this as an additional dock to connect this two my second TV and don’t use it in table top mode. It connects quickly, no picture problems, charges when you plug in a USB-C cable, has USB port that I’m using to charge the Pro Controller and is much cheaper than buying another full Nintendo dock.
The product works perfectly fine with my switch + TV. However, I had to take off the protective case before I can slot my switch into the dock. Also, this only works with my original AC adaptor, it didn’t want to work with a normal type C PD-charger.
I bought this and its as simple as it looks providing you got the wires its so easy to set up, it works just as intended and I haven’t had any issues at all it charges the switch but abit slow I’ve managed to play it for a couple hours and noticed the battery dropped abit.. but I don’t think that’s a issue as the power from the charge should keep it going even if it runs out. But that’s only a hunch, over all its great value for money and a cheap replacement over the official switch Dock
Perfect for Travelling
Compared to the official Nintendo Switch Dock, this foldable dock is way more compact and easy to carry around. It even fits in one’s pocket. If you travel a lot, this could probably be the solution you’ve been looking for.
Ease of Use
The foldable dock comes in a nice box with clear instructions on it. Without any tinkering, it works straight out of the box. Just plug your Nintendo Switch on the dock, connect HDMI and your official Nintendo Power supply, then press the button on the dock to switch to dock mode. No software needed, no drivers needed, no complicated steps to memorize, as simple as that.
Btw, people have been talking about 3rd party docks bricking Nintendo Switches. However, it shouldn’t be something to worry too much about. I’m pretty sure if you use the official Nintendo power supply, and keep the system from getting into sleep mode while in the dock, you’ll be fine.
Conclusion
Nice budget compact Nintendo Switch dock for Travelling.
Needed a switch Dock for the kids and didn’t want to pay Nintendo prices. When this first arrived I thought it was a joke considering how small it was, so I thought I’d try it before I sent it back and to my surprise it’s really really good. The HD to the TV is clear and sounds are good and crisp and the USB works well. Its just like one of those sayings all good things come in small packages this is ture with this and over half the price of a Nintendo one.
Works exactly as expected for me.
So I plugged a HDMI lead from this to the back of my TV and used my MacBook USB C charger to power the adaptor. Connected the switch and it came up on my TV within seconds. We have used this quite a few times now and it has worked every time.
Only complaint (but not worthy of loosing a star) is that without the switch on the adaptor, it is very light and doesn’t stay flat because of the cables. However when the switch is placed on it, it’s perfect.
A lot cheaper than the official cradle.
Oh and it’s not as easy to connect the switch compared to the original cradle as it hasn’t got the high sides to slide it in. Still a great item that is working exactly as described for us.
As a test, I tried using this with a standard USB C power lead and it didn’t work! You need a high capacity/power USB C charger. It mentions in the description what is required.
As I mentioned, I’ve been using my MacBook Pro power lead and it works fine.
Thanks
Wow this thing is TINY!
I couldn’t believe how small the box was let alone the device itself lol.
It has 1x usb c port for charging, 1x hdmi and only 1x usb. I would suggest getting a USB Dock to add more USB’s to the device.
Device works very well – plug and play really, I used the official Nintendo Charger with it to ensure it was the correct voltage.
Connected straight away.
IT’S also quite useful as a charging Dock in table top mode.
Will not fit if you have a case on your Nintendo Switch.
**Review was originally 1* as non-functioning at the time of review. Writing that here for honesty**
So after the two hours of absolute frustration, this item is finally working. Because the other reviews don’t seem to mention it, I will:
If you’re using an official Nintendo Switch power supply to power this dock do NOT put the USBC end all the way in the dock. Because even though it will push all the way in it does NOT supply power.
It also made me panic because I kept thinking the problem was at the plug end, as opposed to the dock, so I’d unplug it from the dock to test it in my Switch and it wouldn’t charge! Had to completely unplug it from the wall and plug it back in to get it to charge the Switch handheld (to be clear, this is while I was testing to see if my power supply was working to rule it out of faults). So pushing it all the way into this dock, for some reason, temporarily shorts the power supply. Unplug and re-plug seems to work.
If you’re just going to leave the power supply in this dock, as opposed to swapping them in and out, then you’ll be fine leaving it plugged in as you would with the official dock.
With the official power supply the dock will charge and display on the TV in the same fashion as your official dock out of box. I will say that it can be slightly fiddly to get your Switch off the dock ((I usually do a gentle side to side wiggle motion to get the Switch off the dock)) but otherwise it feels secure enough.
There is a USB port that will charge a Pro Controller (again, I have an official charging cable in use).
I cannot comment on whether unofficial cables/power supplies offer a different set of problems/work better.
**THIS DOCK DOES NOT COME WITH ANY CABLES. Be prepared to supply your own power supply and HDMI cable. Mentioning this for anyone who missed it in the description**.
All in all for the 25 price point I paid this is a nifty little dock. It really is travel sized and will easily fit in your bag/pocket/certain storage cases.
Purchased this to use our Switch in docked mode on another TV in our home. It’s very compact and light and so far has worked well without any issues. The only thing you need to be careful with is inserting the Switch on to it which requires a bit of care with the placement as unlike the official dock you are not “sliding” it in. Just make sure you line it up properly and don’t apply too much pressure – not sure I’d trust young children to do this if I’m honest. It doesn’t come with any leads / cables so I purchased a Switch power supply at the same time. Haven’t tried the USB port so can’t comment on that but overall am impressed with it.
Has your child managed to mangle the docking pod on the main handset like my 7 year old? Champion, you’ve made me feel so much better.
Daughter was 6 when Santa brought Switch, sadly the connection between main unit and base, is tiny & easy to distort.
Sent base unit to Nintendo, who credit to then checked and returned, advising me it was the main handset.
Well prising main handset out my daughters hands to send away for three weeks wasn’t gonna happen without social services intervention.
So I bought the base unit, and as the input is at a 50degrees rather then a straight 90 degrees, it works a treat.
Can I just say, Ive never wrote reviews till this evening, and Im so proud at the length of this one. I can see what Im gonna be doing through Dry January.
It works pretty well but it sometimes has issues where it plays up when it’s been on for a while. The switch will be in sleep and will lose power and take over the TV if you have a hdmi switcher device. It also doesn’t work well with streaming. So it’s now the dock in the living room. Both of which were using the official charger.
Other than that it is a good alternative to using the standard Dock.
I got this dock as an addition for my pc setup so i can play switch games on my second monitor with a hdmi splitter.
The dock is super low-profile, i was surprised at how small it actually is, but it works in my favour with my PC Setup.
The box comes with a manual and the dock itself, unfortunately no power cable but it is only powered via USB Type-C so it’s not the end of the world.
The back has a USB Type-C power input, a HDMI output and a USB port which works with my Gamecubr Adapter and my Pro Controller and all of it’s wired licenced variants.
The one bad thing i must say about this is that taking the switch out is difficult and i have to wiggle it a little to get it out, if that was not an issue then i would have no problems with this dock at all.
Overall, for the price it’s hard to argue with it, it functions as a dock and even a charging stand if the HDMI doesn’t reach an input.
I bought this to use at work so I wouldn’t have to bring my base with me everytime we wanted to play Mario kart. It’s a bit fiddly to try and actually get working as it took me a decent time to actually get it to project to the TV, but once working it was brilliant, the screen quality was brilliant and wasn’t reduced in anyway. I would still recommend it, I just think it takes a while to get the hang of, despite there only being one butto
