These yellow Hi-Vis balls are fantastic. I struggle with my eyesight and find it hard to see the white balls especially in the winter months but with these they have given me confidence. For me they feel great when hit too.
Thought I’d try these as they were a great price, never used them before, they seemed to farther than others that a have tried, I am a senior golfer aged 78
I always use tailor-made RBZ balls, but saw these distance plus, I thought I’d give them a go. to be honest, I thought that they were probably just a gimmick, took them to my local golf course where I know my stock yardages with driver and irons. The hole in the video is a par four 343 yards and I usually hit about 275-285 but almost drove the green. Not just this hole but every hole I played, I was getting more distance, even with my 8,9 and pitching wedge.
Needless to say my new ball of choice and can’t wait to get back out there!
Give them a go would definitely recommend and the yellows as really easy to spot.
Overall great for distance but an very hard hitting ball, on a hot summers day this ball will bounce extremely high from a high driven driver which can hinder and assist. Feels similar to a cheap driving range ball in the hands with not profound dimples on the ball.
I found it easily manipulated by the strong breeze more than a pro-v , pushing my natural baby draw to a fade with a gust so perhaps not perfectly suited for a high handicap if your slicing the ball. So do be careful not to push this ball or its gone.
On under 100 yard approach shots trying to generate a lot of spin this ball had the tendency bounce further than other balls but this can be incorporated into the game effectively.
Lastly putting was extremely underwhelming, uneven surfaces would knock this ball off target, due to its hard nature it does punish a firm strike or worse an under hit ball.
Overall 4/5 – Good for price, Gives you the distance but sacrifices to do so, would recommend for 12-35 handicaps, if your above 12, there are better balls so don’t be a cheapskate. If your new to golf its not a bad ball to choose.
