I recently installed these heavy-duty metal shelf brackets in my kitchen, and I’m beyond pleased with the results. They were surprisingly easy to fit, making the installation process a breeze, even for someone not particularly handy. The brackets have a sleek, modern look that really elevated the aesthetic of my kitchen. They’re not just about looks though; these brackets are incredibly sturdy, confidently supporting up to 40kgs without any sign of strain. The inclusion of all necessary fixtures and fittings in the package was a thoughtful touch, eliminating the need for any extra trips to the hardware store. These brackets are a solid, hardwearing choice for anyone looking to add both functionality and style to their space.
These are very strong brackets for supporting heavy items via thick shelves (rated 40 kg max).
When I picked up the small box I could already sense from the weight these were serious HEAVY DUTY brackets.
These are NOT for fixing on plasterboard but on proper masonry walls e.g. bricks, concrete. The glossy white finish makes them ideal for mounting either indoors or garage workshop.
I like the detail of countersunk screw holes to ensure the screwheads sit nice and flush.
I’m wondering whether the brackets would have better load bearing capacity if the fixing design was ‘below’ rather than ‘above’ the shelf i.e. minimise cantilever effect?
