My phone falls off. The little round disc attached to the phone, but when I attached it to the mount, it stuck onto the mount and I can’t get it off!!

This arrives in a box containing the mount, the magnetic holder, 2 x metal plates, a dashboard mounting plate and instructions.

The mount can be attached to the windscreen or dashboard, there is a dashboard mounting plate supplied and you can see the instructions in the photo. For transparency I did not attach this to my dashboard as I am changing cars in a few weeks so did not want to use it, there is also what looks like adhesive on the suction mount so I did not use this either for the same reason. But by the look and feel this should stick very well not only in a car but anywhere you want really.

The mount itself is sturdy and can be adjusted vertically in small stops, the arm can also be extended to the length you require. With testing the magnet with my phone which already had a plate on the back it held the phone well and did not move under some serious shakeage. The magnet is also rubber coated.

The one great bonus I found out was the circular plate supplied fits exactly into the back of my Garmin sat nav and so does the magnet, which is fantastic as the car I am getting does not have sat nav and it is going to be so much easier to remove than fiddling with the Garmin one. I’ve also just noticed they do this package with a vent mount included for a slightly higher price which would add more versatility.

The price (12.99, there is also a 2 voucher bringing it to 10.99 at time of review) which I think is good value for money. Overall I am impressed.

I hope you found this review helpful.

I saw one of these used as a desk stand and thought it was a good idea. No more losing my phone under piles of paperwork!
The suction cup comes with an additional “gasket” when used as a windscreen mount which claims to give 50% more suction power. Not needed for my application.
It comes with 2 sizes of self-adhesive metal plate which you stick to the back of your phone, or do as I have done and just slide them inside a gel case.
I love the way I can just grab my phone off the holder one handed without having to push any release buttons. Same when putting it on the stand. It’s a very reassuring hold.
No spring mechanisms to break. It’s solid state.
Premium look and feel. It’s mainly black plastic but threaded parts are metal and the magnet head is very sturdy with a rubber face which won’t scratch your phone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top quality. Great as a phone stand in the office!

I’ve tried to post this review a few times with a video and each time it gets rejected so I’m just going to use text.
As stated in the product description this is not for magsafe devices the magnet in the magsafe isn’t strong enough to hold it. You have to use the magnet provided
I also found that due to the weight while it will hold a closed galaxy fold, there is slippage over some bumps. An open galaxy safe is a definite no no, because of the unequal weight distribution it takes very little for it to dislodge from the magnet.
It’s brilliant for other devices though and the suction fitting seems really secure

This is a good functional phone holder for the dash on the car. It adheres well to the dash and it blends in well with the cabin decor. I didn’t realise you had to adhere a metal disc to the phone case, this isn’t the most attractive thing to have on the back of your phone, but is required to stick it to the arm.
All in, a good functional item and makes viewing my phone easy for sat nav on a journey.

Firstly, I went rogue and didn’t attach the base. My dashboard doesn’t have a flat area big enough for the base to give a complete seal… something you may need to check on your own car before ordering.
However, the suction bit of the arm was a little smaller than the base, and there was a spot right in front of the wheel that I could stick that to, and it has stuck extremely well. I went for a drive and there was no wobble, the magnet on the device (which I have just stuck to my case, rather than the phone itself) is very strong and although it’s easy enough to remove manually when you need to, I do not doubt its ability to remain attached whilst driving.
My previous holders were a vent clip, which always moved and felt like it was gonna fall off, and a holder that plugs into your CD Drive, but this blocks off half of my radio’s screen.
So this item solves all the problems I had previously, and so far is doing exactly what I needed it to… what more could I ask?
    Definitely recommend.

This useful and well-made phone holder can be fitted to your dashboard, or a windscreen.

It arrives with a flat self-adhesive disk that can be stuck to your car’s dashboard so you can use the removable sucker attachment. You can also use the sucker to attach the holder to your windscreen securely, and it can be moved in a large variety of ways. It is even telescopic so the arm can be extended.

What seems a bit odd is that the actual rubber of the sucker attachment is also self-adhesive, so if you put it directly on your windscreen it’s very difficult to remove. I have removed this sticky stuff with some isopropyl alcohol and now it works just like a sat nav sucker and sticks firmly to my van’s windscreen, but is also easy to remove.

Possible downsides to watch out for. Firstly, your phone or phone case must have a metal disk attached so you can use the (VERY STRONG) magnetic mount system. Secondly, if using the dashboard mounting disk, it could be a problem to remove in the future, and I’d be worried about damaging the dashboard. Finally, it’s not a small item, so if used in a small car windscreen it may well be obstructive, making its use distracting or illegal.

Brilliant for a van or truck though so for that reason, I’d recommend it.

I love this mobile phone holder. the suction to stick the holder to the glass is so powerful, that I was really struggling to get it back off the window again. (Please read update at bottom of review)

Initially, I tried to use the holder and stick my iPhone 14 Pro straight onto it and the magnetic grip was terrible, but then I realised there were two very thin metal plates with an adhesive back that stick to the magnet on the phone holder. You simply choose which one is best for your phone, the smaller round one or the larger oblong one.

I didn’t want to stick a metal plate onto my phone, nor did I want to stick it onto the back of my phone case. but you don’t need to. you can simply remove your phone case, insert the very thin metal plate and attach your case to your phone again. it’s so thin that your case isn’t affected at all. (see the 3rd photo) and you don’t even need to stick it to the case, I just loosely laid mine inside the phone case in the position I wanted it (see 4th photo) and then I reattached my case back onto my iPhone again. the magnetic grip, even though the case, is very good and the phone is securely held in place. even over bumps in the road.

There is an extending arm that helps with reach and there are also two grips near the phone mount for cable management, see the last photo. Overall the holder seems very well-made and robust. I am really pleased with this phone holder and would highly recommend it.

UPDATE on my review: I have discovered an issue with the magnetic plate and charging my iPhone. I cannot charge my iPhone with the thin metal plate in place under the phone case. I use a wireless charger like the one pictured and the phone won’t charge when the plate is in place, once I removed the plate it charged fine. It will be fine if you have a wired, plug-in charger but not a wireless charger like the docking station I have. This is a major problem as I do not want to have to remove my phone case every night to remove the metal plate that attaches to the magnet, so I have changed my review star rating to 4.
