Works well and is very slightly quieter than my previous Panasonic microwave. I bought it as folk said it was quieter. I tend to just use it to heat drinks and reheat and cook food. The ‘beverage’ button is pretty pointless as far as I can see as you have to press it 3 times for a mug whereupon it proceeds to heat it for 3mins, whereas you can just press the number 3 once and get it to do the same thing !?! Hey ho.

As a retired pensioner her indoors and myself have had many different microwaves over the years. Now all the kids have left home we went for something smaller. This hits the spot, does all that we want, couldn’t be happier.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDon’t ever be fooled by stainless steel Inside and out microwave ovens.
I don’t usually purchase a Microwave oven that has that grey-painted outer frame.
I had purchased a Stainless Steel Microwave that lasted approx two years and the magnetron decided to fail.
Although I could have repaired it, I decided to go for a basic manual operation oven.
In the long run, a new magnetron would have priced out just by buying a new oven.
Of course, you cannot hear it because of I.D Content playing in the background.
Cooks fast and a brand I have always found their products are durable.
Excellent microwave if anyone is on a budget, It has a 20-litre capacity.

Good workmanship, quite handy control like one touch buttons for 30min,1,2,3,4,min etc buttons for heating. Best part the ending bleep stops the movement you open the door. The present microwaves keeps bleeping even when you open the doo

Great as a microwave but the small gripe I have with it is that you can’t control the times when using other modes, and are forced into pre-set times which leaves you no control over the food you are cooking.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWell made, works well and had it for three months. Pleased with it’s compact size and appearance. However I don’t like the restricted ability to set variable cooking times for some of the functions. Preset times only. Also the preset times don’t take any account of the weight of the food

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product but…

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this microwave because I’ve had one before and it lasted me for years before it started to get a bit grubby.
It never let me down easy to use looks great and does the job so bought exactly the same one .
Still very happy with the new one.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI use both microwave and baking options on daily basis. I like the display, but have found the instructions poor and machine not very intuitive to use. I have found that it does cook well and fast due to the combination options. It also quieter than our older Sharp microware. Once you know how it is easy to use!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersNice size microwave for us two. It’s easy to use. Does a good job of defrosting & cooking.
Nice interior, easy to clean. Doesn’t take up much room on the worktop. So far very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s stylish, compact, and delivers powerful performance. While I haven’t tried the defrost function yet, the microwave heats food evenly and quickly. It’s easy to clean and operates quietly. This microwave exceeds my expectations!

I am very pleased with the microwave and so long as it continues to work ok it is just what we wanted. The delivery however was another matter. Apart from racing up our drive, worrying because we have elderly cats. There are signs but obviously ignored the driver after delivering my microwave and a small package to my husband. Then proceeded to reverse and bang into one of our garage doors. The driver did not stop and then raced out of the drive. Luckily apart from a small scratch the door is ok but this is not acceptable behaviour.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI wanted a new microwave to replace my old Sharp one, and this seemed to fit the bill. It has a small footprint but will take standard dinner plates, and also has a range of automatic defrost settings. It seems well made and sturdy and so far has performed well.

I purchased this from the Amazon Warehouse and so was a bargain, although it was missing the instruction manual

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have a De longhi microwave combination convection oven and wanted another similar as that one is constantly in use. On the Delonghi, I can bake a cake very easily. The Toshiba seems to run a little colder when using the same temperature settings. Also the “Air Fryer” thing is a bit of wishful thinking. Essentially, they claim that if you use the convection oven and the grill together then that equals an airfyer – like algebra gone wrong, I would say. It says in the manual that the first air fyer setting for 16 minutes will give you french fries. I haven’t found the airfryed french fries very good. But then there’s nothing like deep-fried chips. But I haven’t been able to figure out how to change the time of that setting from the prefixed time of 22 minutes. I also made a cake and had to raise the temperature and add about 25 minutes after the prescribed temp and time for that cake did not give a cooked finished result. On the plus side, the grill is much hotter than the DeLonghi. The door edge looked worn – I wondered if I had received a worn item, but am not the sort of person to return it just on that basis. I still have to figure out how to change times and how to cook dishes with it and mostly whether it is cost-effective. I wonder too if the ninja machine (can’t remember which one) might have been better as it can bake bread too, in the ads. But maybe I just need to hone my cooking skill. It isn’t bad, But it is big and takes up a lost of space on the counter.

Bought this as a replacement for my old microwave which finally gave up on me after 15 years. This was a little smaller than I expected but is perfect for me as I live on my own. It’s simple to use which suits my needs too and looks good in my kitchen. Doesn’t take up too much room and is exactly what I wanted.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersMy previous microwave (a different brand costing about the same), had to be replaced after just a couple of years as the plastic coating inside was flaking off leaving exposed rust. I’m pleased to say that this one seems much better made and the door closes with a satisfying clunk; it’s also much quieter than the one it replaced. It’s a fairly standard no frills device that allows per second timing and has a few special settings, although oddly no bread defrost button which I use a lot. I also think that all microwaves should display the power output on the front as it’s easy to forget and a faff to spend longer searching for the manual than it will take to cook the ready meal you have in your hand; the previous one did, this one doesn’t. All-in-all very happy with the purchase for the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo far every function works well, tho’ haven’t baked a cake yet but since everything else works well no reason to think this won’t be fine. Specially like the way it cooks Pizza compared with my old traditional oven. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe machine seems very good as a microwave , however the instruction manual is very poor . For instance, there is no indication as to what temperature the various settings are . This makes things very much guesswork when following any recipe . Otherwise 5stars .

    Purchased to replace broken/blown unit
Plenty of features with time settings for certain foods
If you want a simple 2 minute “Ding Dinner” then press 2 min and off it goes.
Twenty litre capacity holds an oval plate easily enough.
Good build quality and very stylish.
    Very pleased

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWhen my air fryer died, I decided to dispose of my microwave and combine the two. I chose the Toshiba because the combined combination oven seemed an even better option. It looks good and fits well into its allocated space. However, I have found it very difficult to operate. After the first week, I was half inclined to return it. I’ve used an air fryer for ten years without a problem, but to date, everything I’ve tried in the air fryer (except chipolatas), has either burnt or come out chewy. The microwave works well, but cakes made in the oven have been very heavy. After several attempts, I’ve mastered two-minute porridge, but hey – I can’t live on oats alone. A proper instruction book with examples would have been a great help.

Well, the microwave combi oven arrived on time. My Mrs asked me to get it for her sisters birthday as she has moved into a new house. However, in the past 30 years I have only seen her cook once. So I don’t think it’ll breakdown from over use.

I was a little surprised how cheap international version of this Toshiba digital microwave oven was. For the price, it was good enough for basic use. Probably, it has been designed in Japan and assembled in their factory in China for low cost mass production. Although, the coating on steel looked very basic and it does not look like long-lasting rust-proof stainless steel, so it may get rusty if moisture stayed inside, which means it is better to use cling wrap or cover with minimum steam escape, then better to wipe clean with dry tea towel after use to prevent the rust. I personally would like a 24 hour clock setting if possible, because their 12 hour clock does not show it is AM or PM during the dark British winter morning or evening. That’s possibly the sun rises in the same specific time all over the year in some countries like Japan.

Thankyou again so much for the Microwave. Packaging was amaZing & well secure. Well protected. Communication’s on the ball. Delivery was awesome. What more could one ask for? Absolutely perfect! Would very much recommend. Would happily buy in the future. Thankyou so much:-)

Bought this budget meeecro wavvvv ayyyy (microwave), to replace a Delonghi combination one that gave up the ghost. At first, I looked for another combi, but now we are air fryer addicts (like most of the country), the penny dropped i.e. we just needed a basic easy-to-use microwave. Can’t fault this Tosh for 75. It’s very easy to use, compact, stylish and does the job perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOur previous microwave (a Sanyo) had a failed bulb that had no access to replace it and was starting to get rusty, so having read positive reviews of the Toshiba we bought one. After almost a year I see the good points and the niggles. The good points are that it cooks and reheats evenly, the door opens and closes easily and the instant full power for various minutes are a real asset. The niggles are that the defrost function has ‘by time’ or ‘by weight’ options, but nothing in the manual explains how to choose the time for anything, so only the weight is usable. Our Sanyo used to do part of the defrost, then pause for 2 minutes for temperatures to equalise then go again to finish the defrosting. The Toshiba does it in one go, and dense foods like joints of meat need longer that the weight decides. I add 10% to the actual weight for a proper defrost without starting to cook. The turntable rotates jerkily rather than smoothly, and it is too easy to dislodge from the drive and is fiddly to put back. The clock doesn’t keep exactly to time and gradually gets fast so I had to reset it about every 6 weeks. The time functions are not consistent: If I Time Cook, I put in (say) 415 and it assumes a leading zero and I get 4 minutes and 15 seconds; If I use the Kitchen Timer function and put in 415 it assumes a zero on the end and I get 41 minutes and 50 seconds. That took a bit of getting used to. None of the niggles would put me off buying one again, but I can’t give it 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had to return a 20 litre microwave as my dinner plates would not go in, having had a very similar product for some years, and the light had failed and also was not heating up food evenly. Separately, Amazon’s return service for Prime members is simply the best. If is is a choice between saving few pounds with and another online retailer, Amazon wins every time, after having had awful return experience with non-prime products (mostly supplier mis-description of products and then refusal to put things right).

So, the black Friday sale was just the right time for a replacement.

This 23 litre compact microwave is very elegant, well made, functional, and, importantly, heats up food well and evenly. That’s what I use the microwave mostly for and it is a star performer. Not tried the other functionalities. User interface is simple and intuitive. I would give five start definitely if I had used it for a year and my expectations were still the same. But, it is really a five star for now.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI like the easy to operate timer along with the really good design. All surfaces are durable and easy to clean and it heats food thoroughly in very little time often less then the manufacturer’s surgested cooking time. The size is more then enough for general cooking needs. It takes a full size dinner plate for reheating and sits firm and safely on any flat surface. All in all, it offers so much for an appliance that is still unbelievably under a hundred pounds. Great value, fantastic price and high build quality. Five stars all day long. Nice one Toshiba.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI didn’t want a microwave that required a degree in engineering to work out how to use it, some do.
This is easy to use, most of the timings only require pushing one button, longer times require 2. It is sturdy (heavy) and stylish with a black finish, the door handle is the length of the door so easy to grip, and pulling the door handle to open the door does not move the microwave across the counter.
    Good price, great product.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI’m really happy with my purchase here!

I’d had a disastrous shopping experience trying to buy myself a new Microwave, before I came across this one.

All I’d wanted, was something to do the basic things that I use a microwave for, and this one is absolutely perfect for my needs!

It’s smaller than my previous one, which means that I use less power, which is a plus, but it’s plenty powerful enough for all of my needs.

I was fortunate to get it on the last Amazon Prime sales, so I’m really delighted about that, and it even has some programmes on it that I’ve discovered are perfect for my needs!

I’ve not had it long, but it feels nicely sturdy, without being clunky, and it also washes out fabulously, which I’m delighted about, as my previous one was a real pain to clean! Lol

I’m very happy with my purchase, and only time will tell if it will last as long as I’m hoping for – but I honestly think that this is one that’s been built to last!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis is a beautiful combi microwave, although it is a bit smaller than I am used to. The air fryer function works beautifully – my husband says it produces the best chips he has ever had. The microwave and bake functions work well too, although the oven does seem to cook at a much lower temperature than my old Panasonic combi microwave, despite being set at a higher temperature – you definitely need to pre-heat the oven first!

The reason I have only given it 4 stars is that condensation remains in it (even overnight) unless you leave the door open after cooking. My old Panasonic had a cooling function which removed heat and condensation after cooking and I miss that. However, it’s still a pretty good buy 🙂
