I bought this after having completed a first aid refresher course where I was taught how to apply this in an emergency. Knowing this I thought it would be a great addition to my vehicle emergency kit. It’s practical easy to use and only 5 with next day delivery. A potential life saver.

5.0 out of 5 stars A life save

I use these for training purposes and they are perfect for that. Students can get to use them and they comment how difficult it can be if you haven’t use one before. So for me they are ideal

The one piece of kit in my workshop I hope never to use but it is on a French cleat on the wall along with other kit except that this cleat is painted red so that it stands out ready just in case. The quality and design seem suitable for the task although the instructions are at best difficult if not totally useless.

This tourniquet is the one demonstrated on my outdoor firsr aid course. Easy to prepare. Remove it from the packaging it comes in. Set it up correctly. So if needed it’s ready to go. If you wait until its needed, you will be stressed, and your motor skills will not be 100%. So set it up now.

I recently did an outdoor first aid course with an instructor who was ex-military. I had never been taught the use of a tourniquet on any previous first course but the instructor was insistent it is a life-saver skill especially in the outdoor setting where paramedic help could be a long time away. We practiced the use repeatedly and now I am a convert! I think their use should be taught on all first courses and every first aid kit should have one.

This one is very well made and easy to use once you have been trained. The tightening stick is strong enough to get a really good, tight tourniquet in place and lock it there.

Get yourself trained in using them and then add one to your first aid kit – it could save a life.
