Got these for my son, and he absolutely loves them. We have one each when I’m tidying up, really easy to use just have to make sure they’re both on the same channel. Came fully charged and haven’t yet needed to charge them after a lot of use!!
So would say battery life is excellent.
    Sturdy, but not too heavy.
Well made, and lots of different settings.
Well worth its price, would highly recommend

This is built to look like a professional walkie talkie but in reality it is just suitable as a toy. The pack comes with two different bright coloured handsets and a dual charging cable. The handsets take about an hour to charge and last a couple of hours. They are easy to use for an adult but the talk button is a little hard for very young children. The handsets can change channels if there is any interference. The signal is good and strong at 200m but I haven’t tried any further. Overall I am happy with this toy.

Fun to play with and works OK up to 200m outside but has an annoying delay when you press the button before it starts to transmit so you have to press it and wait a second before talking.

Only really useful as a toy for kids.

These are neat little units which kids should very much enjoy playing with in the house and garden, but the range is pretty much Line Of Sight (you can have the odd house in the way, but as soon as you have a bit of a curve in the ground interfering the audibility drops off rapidly to static) and max perhaps two hundred yards before little Suella or Reginald start sounding like they’re in a washing machine; they aren’t suitable for keeping tabs on the kids from your boozy picnic blanket while they dash off to explore the nearby mine shafts and cliff tops.

Nevertheless, four stars for the fun kids will definitely have while eating worms or playing hide and seek.

The first thing that I noticed when the box arrived, is how small it is. Inside this small box, you get two walkie talkies – one orange and one blue. Each comes wrapped in a plastic bag. You also get a USB A to USB C charging lead and a set of instructions.

The build quality is.okay. That’s all. They are fairly lightweight and are built from hard plastic. They feel more like toys that are designed to look like professional handsets, rather than real professional handsets. This is to be expected, as you would never find two professional walkie talkie radios for thirty four quid. This being the case, they do feel a little bit over priced considering the build quality.

Each unit comes with a clip attached on the back. This clip can be easily removed. You will need to charge each handset up before use. If you don’t have a spare lead and charging plug (which I’m sure you do in this day and age), you will need to charge one after the other. This will be a lengthy process. I wonder if it might have been possible to supply a double lead. These do exist and it is possible to purchase them easily, so this is a bit of an oversight.

They do the job for what they are – that being toys for kids. They work around the house well enough and the speakers and mics did the job of transmitting sound to the other handset. I haven’t tested these with range, so wouldn’t want to comment. That said, I wouldn’t want to rely on these on a stormy night at the top of Snowdon!

I liked the fact that you cqn remove the rechargable battery and replace it with standard AA batteries. You will need three AA batteries in each handset. That’s quite a lot, but a good alternative if the kids want to use them in a flash.

I was super surprised to find how easy these were to use, and they are really good quality. These are perfect to use, even if you’re sick of shouting upstairs that dinners ready. We’ve had so much fun using these the past couple of days, and it’s so refreshing to see my kids get involved in a gadget that’s not involving a screen.
These have a great range on them, and the battery life is decent. This also came with a cable to recharge, which is an absolute bonus. They also have a clip on them to be able to clip them to your waist band, which added to the fun.
They also feel durable and strong. Totally worth the joy your kids feel when using them.

These appear to be quite nicely put together real working walkie-talkies for kids – easy to use and rechargeable via USB which is nice. Don’t expect them to be particularly waterproof or work over a long range or if tall buildings/hills/mountains block the signal, but a neat toy for adventurous kids I guess although you have to wonder if mobile phones have not made this kind of thing somewhat redunda

Reasonable walkie talkies similar to others on the market. We bought a set of 3 for our granddaughter age 5 for her birthday. These are similar (but only 2) and pretty straight forward as we already knew how to use them. However, the instructions with these are poor and the control fiddly. NB you need to be able to USB charge before use so if giving to a child, charge first or they’ll be disappointed. Good not to have batteries as can be charged easily with no extra cost. Picture shows lit up and working on channel 2. I would suggest that they are bought for age 8 plus rather than for a younger child’s toy.

*This is an amended review. One of the original set of walkie talkies arrived faulty. This was swiftly resolved by the seller and within a few days I had a brand new and fully working replacement set. A five star service.
This pair of reasonably small or compact walkie talkies are well built and very solid feeling.
Rechargeable via the supplied USB-C lead, they take quite a while to charge but seem to work for ages on a full charge, depending on use obviously.
16 selectable channels, these worked fine out of the box on the default channel, so I left them on that.
Tested in an urban area, I was still able to receive a reasonably clear signal about 1/2 a mile from home before it started to break up the further I went. Considering how built up this area is, that wasn’t a bad range on a first test. The stated range in an urban area is 1km, so this was definitely on par with that.
I’ve not yet tested in a fully open area yet, but expect the range to be far more substantial.
Easy to operate with a clear LCD display, a comprehensive manual with lots of pictures to take you through the various features, these are great fun walkie talkies.
Kids will love them.. as will big kids, like myself!
