I bought this PC as my old one wasn’t up to the task of capturing game footage and streaming and so far is doing what I want. The SSD makes a big difference with boot speeds too.
I did have a faulty remote for the LEDs but got a quick response from the seller and replacement arrived within few days, so excellent customer service so far too!
Not tested any games yet so unsure as to the performance but the specs would indicate a mid tier setup but could easily upgrade the GPU in the future for high end gaming.
I was worried this looked too good to be true! amazing spec and much cheaper than anywhere else. I got great pre-sale advice. PC arrived within a couple of days, ready to use out of the box and really upgradeable. My son plays loads of high spec games and there are no issues with graphics or lag … great purchase, thanks!
This is the second PC I’ve bought from Dr Memory. The PC is fantastic, great value for money and delivery is very fast.
Customer service is also really helpful and responds to queries quickly.
A brilliant all round service, Thank you!
Under no illusions after I read the spec thoroughly. Performs admirably, using it as a workstation rather than a gaming machine.
The only drawback is graphics card won’t support 2 HDMIs so I’m going to buy a DVI>>HDMI adapter and all will be well.
Would recommend this machine to anyone considering buying a new desktop
Didn’t want cutting edge gaming so this older spec suited my needs. Fantastic Black Friday discount and excellent on schedule delivery. This is a gift but I wanted to see if the system delivered as advertised. It did. Everything from old PC fitted and Windows 10 sparked up after a couple of short updates. Yet to install Steam and test it out with games but looks promising.
So far this pc is very good, but at the point of writing this i have only had it a day, i would recommend upgrading the graphics card and im sure others have put recommendations in their reviews, i have ordered a nvidia 1070 graphics card to put in this pc. Overall very good so fa
after giving Dr.memory a call i was looking for a pc to stream my Xbox via elgato without issues lag etc after speaking to someone on the phone dint get his name spoke to hi said what i was after and he recommend this pc i cannot fault the pc its been super crisp and smooth and zero issues i like the case and glass panel and the RGB fans lights etc highly recommend using this company for any pcs 5 stars and it arrived a day early i ordered this on a Friday and it wasn’t due till Monday it appeared on the Sunday
even though i wont use it for gaming i did play a little doom via games pass on the pc and it was grea
When it comes to PC’s, especially gaming PC’s it’s important to get the right specs for the right price. After spending a LOT of time researching what was best for my 11 year old, I found the perfect solution with this model. Not only that, but I had an issue with the delivery company, no fault of the seller, yet they went the extra mile to get it resolved.
As for the PC itself, the value is unbelievable, with most other gaming machines either lacking in processor speed, memory or double the money!
Can’t recommend their range of products, as well as their service enough. A STRONG FIVE STARS from me.
Seller delivered the PC in 48 hours with careful double layered packaging with good buffers inside. The PC reached me in good condition. Seller also kindly pre-install operating system and graphics drivers of latest version which saved me a lot of hassle to set them up. I basically managed to connect everything in 5 minutes. The PC got 7 extraction fans in total and very quite. Also seller give free keyboard and mouse. I would recommend this product and will return in the future.
Works well however I wouldn’t call it a gaming PC off the bat. Let me explain, okay so 16gb ram.. perfect, i7 Processor.. a few years old but okay does what it needs to, 2gb graphics card.. This is where it lets itself down! If it came with something like a Radeon 580 8gb or even a 4gb then perhaps you could call it a gaming PC. Running Warframe on it gave me a Massive 12FPS * before overclocking *. The one thing I will give the tiny Nvidia 720 is it is a great little graphics card for overclocking and after a little tweek with MSI Afterburner was able to play Warframe at a much better 34FPS. Suggestion to Dr Memory * advertise it as a standard PC not a gaming one *. On to the plus points, 16gb ram and an i7 processor means it loads very quickly, windows is pre-installed no faffing about going through set up, does multi task brilliantly and came with a free RGB mouse and keyboard which was a bonus. Over all thoughts. Is it worth the money I paid for it? Yes. Would I buy it again? Probably not if I’m honest, purely because I can build a better ” gaming ” PC for about the same price * After buying the above mentioned Radeon 580 *. Is it a great PC if you want to practice overclocking? Yes, again as mentioned above the tiny Nvidia 720 is great for overclocking. Would I recommend you buy this PC? For gaming.. No! For normal everyday use.. Yes why not. I am in no way knocking Dr Memory but I do think the label * Gaming * is a little bit of an overstatement about this PC.
Can play games like scum or escape from tarkov at low settings is playable and anything less runs great.
if you want to get a PC for your kids so they can play games this will be perfect.
Hi I got this pc a few weeks ago and none of the case fans are working at all, all the lighting is fine but the fans do not spin I tried the remote control but it doesnt seem to do anything also tried changing the battery still nothing can you advise please thanks Otherwise I love the pc and it seems like a really good build thank you
Fast delivery, however, pc did not work. Customer service offered to repair, but i insisted on replacement. Pc picked up same day, and new one sent out and arrived very quickly.
This all being said, customer care, service and speed, was 2nd to none. Can’t fault them.
Awesome computer upgrade from super budget PC. Not having computer knowledge I was told by streamers to make sure I can run my RAM speed at 3200MHZ. Saw 3200MHZ mentioned in the title BUT just found out my motherboard doesn’t support it?! Supports DDR4 2933 max. A little annoying as now I have to upgrade my Motherboard which I have no idea how to ensure I buy one that fits/supports my other PC components. Other then that, the PC is good. Just wish they didn’t stick 3200MHZ in the description without specifying max supported RAM speed as 2933 as it feels a tad misleading. I knocked 1 star off for this.
Happy with the product and how it was delivered by dpd. But there seems to be a slight problem with one of the ram slots. I spent over an hour trying to get signal out of the pc and nothing was working. So I decided to take out one of the ram sticks to see if that had resolved the issue and it sure did. But once I got onto the system and updated everyone I thought I’d give it another go into the system and still there was no signal! So i deceived swap the ram sticks around and putting one stick into the (broken slot) and still the same no signal issue. So i would like to have 1 stick of 16gb ram if possible? Thanks!
UPDATE: I have now resolved the issue. The ram easily in the slott properly! Giving it a bit of force just managed to clicked it in place. This must of happened in transit of course, so if anyone is having the same issue just check your ram to tick it off the list!
EDIT: My review still stands about the PC itself however XUM have shown great customer service making sure I am truly satisfied with my purchase and helped largely in returning the item. So thank you!
The marketing for the PC indicates towards being able to run games on a decent setting with good performance. This PC can hardly function on the desktop when booted never mind in a video game. Now don’t get me wrong, for the most part it could run Overwatch 2 (chosen game to test) but the mouse is so jittery always. And I’ve made sure it’s not my mouse, I’ve tried 3 different ones in every USB port with no fix. I bought this PC to help with my final stretch of university and it had proven to be not worth it.
Ok so had problems with dpd because they are rubbish… lol… product itself is fine and totally as described. Not the best in the world but better than can be bought from high Street stores for the same sort of money.
One word of warning… the graphics card output does not have vga and on buying a dvi to vga converter I found its not the standard sort of dvi. So meant I had to quickly buy a new monitor to avoid all the hassles… was planning on buying a new one anyway so not a big issue but worth pondering if wanting to use an old vga monitor…
Overall impressed though…
Not the most powerful beast out there but for a plug in and go pc it’s good value for money. I ordered the 1650 but it came with a 1050, this was quickly resolved by the responsive customer service team and they sent me the right card out and arranged pick up of the wrong one. Minor inconvenience but resolved to my satisfaction. The parts are probably the cheapest available but I think it’s a fair package for the overall cost and not having to build it yourself. It has worked well from day one and I’ve enjoyed playing mainly Assetto Corsa with very high settings and mods at 200+fps, Skyrim on ultra, Shadow of Mordor on Ultra and Death Stranding with a few things turned off but still runs nice and has good fps. It plays what I expected it to play very well indeed. I think you’d be hard pushed to find a cheaper, better machine.
This PC was purchased for a young gamer for Christmas, so it has not been put through the ropes yet. It has been set up and put in a ready-to-go state by another gamer who downloaded a few games and gave it a quick check through.
The PC is undoubtedly good value for money, and is an excellent ‘starter’ PC for someone, especially a young gamer as the LED lighting is spectacular, and there seems to be enough overall specification to run most games in at adequate settings.
This not a PC that was intended to be upgraded though. Most of the components appear to be bespoke, and there is little to no upgrade potential. That said, it should do the job for which it has been specified very well, and is excellent value for money.
Keep in mind, that you will need to have a monitor, keyboard and mouse available for this PC.
I was worried about buying online but have to say this works great. Son plays Fortnite, FIFA (don’t judge me) , and plays the latest games. It’s an i7 so not bad for your buck. Only issue is no blue tooth so no additional speakers can connect. Other than that I wasn’t ripped off which is what you want. Sure people on here are way more clued up than me. Edges of tower are sharper than razors so saves on immac but blood loss is an issue. Honest review, it’s alright. Great for Xmas pressy for your kids and if you want a basic to build upon.
The computer was well packaged inside the computer case as well as in the box, all component boxes were included in the packaging. The install date on the software and patches was about two weeks prior to me buying, so it was built shortly before shipping rather than sitting in a store for a prolonged amount of time
Although bought a week earlier, the computer wasn’t powered on until Christmas Eve as it was a birthday/Christmas present for my son. Only the fan lights came on, no boot, and I determined that one of the DIMMs was faulty, removing it allowed the computer to boot and work without issues. I contacted the seller, not expecting a reply until after Christmas, but received a reply on the 25th apologising and advising that a replacement DIMM would be sent out on the next working day – which they did, and works fine.
The case itself is nice, especially the easy to remove tempered glass side panel rather than the metal and perspex ones that are quite common. Other than the initial hardware issue which was quickly resolved it appears to run fine. My son loves colour fans and it plays all of his Steam and Epic library games with a good framerate. His main two games of choice being Fortnite and Destiny 2, both running smoothly at 1080.
Obviously there’s a fair bit of noise from the fans, which is only to be expected and unavoidable unless you were to fit whisper fans, but it becomes background noise when playing and is only noticeable when in the same room.
For the price I would say it’s a good deal considering the cost of a GTX 1650 on it’s own. My son is certainly happy with it and he has rarely been seen outside of his bedroom since he got it.
