I purchased this to create some interest behind me as a video background. It has been useful for that but has been such a hit that my grandson has now taken ownership for his room. Great fun ligh
Bought this for my child who has ASD and ADHD and they absolutely love it. They use it to self-regulate and to help with going to sleep at night, wish I’d found it years ago.
The delivery was prompt and the light is beautiful. The combination of flowing light and stars is so relaxing. I use it instead of side lights, and the multiple options nean you don’t get bored with it. A great buy.
I use my projector to create ambience with visuals and sound and find this product delivers on both accounts. I was surprised on the quality of sound especially. The aurora pattern creates a dreamy atmosphere.
Perfect. Really wanted a night light that would let you change the brightness of the stars so it’s absolutely perfect. Loads of colour variations, the music function is great too. Setting up the Bluetooth on the app took a bit of time tho. (Tip: when it tells you to turn it on and off but not exceed 10 seconds or whatever, you need to just do it super fast. Sort of like you’re messing with a light switch)
It is a fantastic device for small children as well as for adults. My 3 months old son loves looking at the lights and I also find it very relaxing. It has good choice of sounds including white noise. I would definitely purchase again.
This projector is awesome! My 9weeks old baby can’t stop watching stars and different colours of nothern lights,plus massive bonus white noise and other sounds which we not really tried yet,when I see her excitement I know it was worth to buy it! Really recommend this product,even me as an adult finding it really entertaining.
Took a while to decide from the huge range available on Amazon but so glad I chose this one. Just received and unboxed and really very happy with it. I bought it for the ‘white noise’ setting as I read it can help ease tinnitus but there are so many settings to go through. I did wrongly assume it was something you’d charge up and run it cordless but you do need to plug it in to a power source using the USB supplied. Great that you can connect via Bluetooth to your own music. Overall, very pleased with my choice and would definitely recommend.
Looking at the reviews of the similar products in the Market place, what was not clear was that the projected Aurora effects do shimmer and move across the ceiling, which I find very soothing. I don’t mind that the stars are green, white would not work with the Aurora colours, and depictions of actual constellations would only serve to distract from the overall effect. The inbuilt White Noise options are rather good quality playback too.
The remote did not come with batteries, as I guess they want you to download the App, but pop a couple of AAAs in, and you can control all the main functions with the remote.
I bought one of these projectors mainly as a “stocking filler” for my youngest granddaughter. She absolutely loves it. So much so that her elder sister loved it too, so I sent for another one. I would rate this seller very highly as the delivery times for both of them were amazing. We live in The Scottish Highlands and until this morning we’re getting battered by Gale force winds and rain. The item(s) both arrived way ahead of the estimated times which was amazing considering we were cut off for most of yesterday. They used Royal Mail, and they deserve some credit too. I normally won’t buy from sellers who use unreliable couriers as they have a dreadful reputation up here. A much nicer product than I expected and full marks to the seller for their prompt service.
There’s a couple of things that I personally do not like:
– every time one turns it on quite loud sound from a speaker comes out about Bluetooth connection, which if you’re using it for babies sleeping routine, may be not desired.
– i haven’t figured out how to play default sounds that are available on the remote – from the app
– don’t think you can save your favourite scene
– every time when you swipe to the right on the app to the list of available scenes it resets your set up scene you’re using at that moment automatically
– wasn’t aware but the stars are only in bright green colour – again I thought I could choose a colour.
– haven’t figured out how to turn the Bluetooth off completely.
Besides – all good and do not regret buying.
I use this on the slowest movement setting, which is still faster than I would like, but it’s ok.
Would be useful to be able to adjust the angle – I have to use props under it to point it in the right angle.
Nice combination of colour options. Would have been nice if the green laser dots slowly moved – they are static and not as bright as another unit I have. Still in a blacked out room it looks pretty good.
My baby loves the northern lights and the white noise setting really helps her to sleep. I know it connects to an app, but you can’t control the white noise from the app (only the lights) which is a slight downfall. But all in all it’s a great product!
I love the variety of sounds and the lovely lights and lasers on this. It connects quickly to my Alexa and I can control it with my voice. The remote control is handy too along with the smart phone app and Alexa integrations
My only niggles are that it shouts “BLUETOOTH ON” when switched on, but using the remote to instantly change to a built in sound mitigates that issue. The other is that it only stays on for 4 hours but that could be a safety feature.
I had one previously and the aurora stopped spinning so I had it replaced
Good item overall tho.
Pros: The App lets you choose and save colour modes. The back up remote is handy. The intense colours and the brightness (its more effective as the only light source). You can choose which colours to mix. It’s mechanically very quiet, especially when a band isn’t playing! The green lazer stars are dimmable via the app. And finally, it makes power shadows!
Cons: Bit tricky to position the light and often the best position is straight into each band mate’s eyes! The remote doesn’t have the same settings as the app, its a lot more basic but it’s a good back up when there isn’t wifi. You can’t seem to operate it through your phone without wifi and it takes a while to set up through wifi. The speaker is of mobile phone quality (but we don’t use it). Lastly, You can’t change the colour of the green stars.
All in all our band, ‘We Speak In Tongues’ (for any procrastinators still with us!) are super happy with our purchase and are even considering taking it to gigs in the future…
I bought this item to help me get to sleep at night. The sound of waves lapping the shoreline is a sure way to help you sleep. I gave it a four star rating because the set up for the phone app was such a faff I gave up and just use the remote. The timer works, the only other criticism is that you have to reset all the settings, volume, brightness etc every time you turn it on, but other than that it does the job I bought it for. I would recommend it if you have trouble getting to sleep and need a bit of background noise to get there. Overall its working fine up to now.
Set it all up according to the instructions including the wi fi settings, then discovered it totally knocked out my smart bulb upstairs in the bedroom! When asking Alexa to turn on the light in the bedroom it was turning on this projector downstairs instead! What the hells all that about? The problem is that there is some kind of confliction when enabling the wi fi with this and with no option of contacting the manufacturer.
