This light is brilliant. Quick and easy to turn on and off with one hand when needed while running. Can hardly notice you are wearing it it’s so light and comfortable. I feel so much safer on dark early morning runs now and can see far more on the path in front to avoid any puddles, wet piles of leaves, cracks in paths etc to help avoid injury. Highly reccomend. Love that it’s rechargeable. I plan to buy a second one as a back up in case these ever go out of stock it’s so good.
Has 2 levels of brightness and a flashing mode front and back. Easy to charge. Only problem i have is when running as i like the light at mid chest height the wire for the light could do with being a bit longer, im not tall and find it rides up a bit. This version the light does not tilt but you can see minimum 3 metres in front of you. I found when running on an unlit road it was not as bright as my headtorch, i used both for safety. The 5 dots under the triangle on the charging pack show how much it is charged.
Super light. Nice and bright, inexpensive, comfortable to wear and easy to put on. Loses a star for the light pointing up a bit too much (I point in downwards with my hand in particularly dark, damp lanes), the battery being a little heavier than the light so it rides a little too high on my chest, and the button being a bit hard to find when on the move. But these are a bit nit-picky – it’s a great light.
Used this a few times now for jogging on the beach so it’s pretty dark out there. Mainly use it as a dog turd detector and it’s pretty good for that. Could do with a way to angle the light downwards more to spot said dog turds, but that’s not the best thing about this product. The best thing is you can pretend to be Iron Man with this thing on! As I’m running I’m zapping bad guys, bickering with Steve Rogers and maybe snap my fingers at Thanos.
Simple and easy to use, lights the way even at the lower setting improving visibility and also making me really visible to other road users (especially cars).
Makes evening and night running accessible.
I have yet to find the most appropriate fit and it is slightly heavier than I was expecting, that is the only reason for not giving a 5 star rating.
This stays in place well and I am hardly aware of it when running. It provides an excellent light even on our dark village tracks. It holds charge for a good time. If I had to think of anything that could be improved it would be that the backlight sits slightly off centre but it isn’t really that noticeable when you get going.
As the nights are getting darker I needed something to make me more visible. Not only for my own safety but also for other runners, pedestrians, car drivers etc.
The unit is lightweight and you’ll hardly notice you’re wearing it. Putting it on feels a bit fiddly at first but you’ll get used to it.
The light at the front is very good but if running in pitch darkness, I would recommend a headlight too.
When out last night we saw a pedestrian wearing one and so we were able to see them clearly as we ran past them. It’s so good we’re buying another one for our running friend!
Buy one – they’re cheap as chips compared to what you pay for the rest of your running gear!
I use it regularly for running at night on unlit narrow roads. I sometimes need a head torch in addition as the chest light isn’t always bright enough & the loom of the light isn’t quite where it is needed. It is good for having a back light if any traffic is coming from behind. Sometimes it is a bit tricky to put on if done in the dark.
Great product, comfy to wear and long battery life. I tend to charge it every 2 weeks. Would typically have had 6hrs total usage over the 2 weeks from my early morning runs.
LED is bright and light enough of the road/surroundings for me. I live out in the country so tend to run on unlit lanes/roads
This light arrived fully charged which was a bonus as I could wear that evening, I have to say the charge lasted well and only takes a short while to recharge ( think best to let the charge go out before start to re charge ). It’s easy to put on and remove along with being comfortable to wear and the best bit is the brightness of this and the back light so extra safety when out on the road in dark evenings or mornings.
This product is excellent value for money will certainly purchase again although think that will be a long time as this is a durable produc
I bought these lights as I’ve recently started the couch to 5km running, and with the dark nights I was in need of some good lights!
I’ve tried these once and I love them. They don’t seem to shine too far in the distance but are certainly bright enough to see exactly what’s coming up in front and to the sides. I wasn’t sure whether to get head lights or these, but I’m glad I made this choice as they don’t get in the way at all, they are secure and don’t move about. The only thing that is a slight pain, is that your arms block the light when running, giving a flashy effect, but it’s no big deal. Overall they are fab and perfect for what I want them for!
