This is not a product that I will use regularly, but having failed to start on two occasions this battery booster is just what I need. This product is ideal for a car with a standard battery but is less suitable for a hybrid as there is no extra length to the two leads.
A few things to note regarding the use of the power pack:
1) It arrives at 85% full; you need to fully discharge it and fully charge it for it to work. It does advise to do this in the instructions. I tried starting a car before doing this and it wouldn’t work; it did afterwards. This gave me a good opportunity to leave the torch on overnight, so I can say that 12h of torch usage used about 50% battery.
2) You need to connect both crocodile clips to the battery terminals *before* plugging it into the starter battery, else it won’t work.
3) It needs to be more than 75% charge to start an engine, so best not to use it to charge your phone(!)
Other than those requirements, it’s easy to use and worked to start my wife’s 1.4L diesel whose battery I removed for the purposes of the test.
The included torch is fine, and the built in USB-A and USB-C ports may be handy in a pinch. Bear in mind, though, that if the starter battery charge drops below 75% you should not attempt an engine start.
The compass on top is roughly accurate.
It all comes in a fairly decent hard nylon case.
What is slightly less reassuring is that the customer service contact details are an 07 number, and the email address domain is .gmail.com, but Amazon usually has you covered anyway.
I’ve been holding off reviewing this because I was waiting for the cold weather to hit, and low and behold, the snow arrived, and I was reminded I really need a new car battery.
This worked perfectly after being connected for 5 minutes, within a few seconds the daytime running lights came alive too.

Brilliant car battery booster – so much more easier & convenient and surprisingly works very well easy to use and set up – shows LCD display and also has a flash light which is handy! Overall, great battery booster and so much more easier & advanced now – you don’t have to connect 2 cars anymore for a dead battery, this does the job and is worth every penny. I live out in the country side, so I was looking for something just incase the car doesnt start. The Jumpr Jump Starter Power Pack meets all my needs, the 1600 peak with 12000mAh power storage is a great size to have in a emergency.
It as a nice and bright LED screen even in the day light, comes with everything you need if your car or van battery dies. Easy to use and comes with a bright built in torch for if you break down in the dark, all comes with a nice storage case to keep the power pack in and all it’s accessories in. It also comes with a built in emergency hammer to break your car glass.

The product feels well made, the product has sufficient cable length for close proximity boost however the cables are quite narrow and the description on package doesnt match the supported Literage form the advert.
Haven’t had chance to test the jump start yet but charges well, has good extra features.
Only down side i see is the specification is likely lowrr than product page advertises.

High power compact starter and high capacity power bank. This started my 2.0 litre Diesel van with a completely flat battery with no issues, I haven’t tried it on anything larger to test the claims that it will start up to an 8 litre Diesel engine. The starter comes with its own semi hard storage case, which is a little bulky for my glove box, but stows under the seat perfectly. Using the device couldnt be simpler, and so much easier than the heavy cumbersome lead/acid alternatives. The main unit appears to be well made and has two usbA outlet ports, ideal for charging tablets and phones etc. It can even be used as a power source for other usb devices, such as my heated jacket. There is a small compass on top of the main unit, this may be useful if you are lost in the wilderness without anything but your jump starter, otherwise just a bit of a gimmick! More useful is the three bulb LED torch, ideal when struggling in the dark with a flat battery. The torch also has a flashing mode and an SOS signal mode. There is also a window breaker, I’ve not tested this so not sure how it would perform.
The starter is an ideal size and weight to permenantly carry in the car.
