I have used the standard hard foam box cover that loops over the handle for years, but they aren’t always durable. I also find the foam style difficult to secure in place once the handle stretches. When one came off and blew away, I ordered a pair of these faucet covers. They slipped over the faucet like a mitten would – easy, even for someone in mittens – and then were secured by the attached Velcro strips. Much easier all around. I checked after we had 60 mph winds with the deep freeze, the new faucet covers were firmly in place. They were not as thick as I imagined, but I had wrapped bubble wrap around the faucet already, and these slipped into place with a snug fasten. Better mousetrap.
I thought the covers came packaged nicely and well made.
They are roomy and seem to be able to fit a wide range of common outdoor faucets.
The insulation is noticable and installation was easy for me.
Pleased overall with these, but I’m not sure they are thick enough to provide sufficient insulation. So I have put two on each faucet. They are great for larger faucets with valves, etc.
I was surprised to find they were as big as they were because one of my taps is quite big. There waterproof. And easy to put on .and good velcro grip great value
I haven’t used these in the past but can see they are a good precaution for the cold weather. Bought these for the two-pack as I have two outside taps. Reasonable value, thought they might have been a little thicker fabric. Time will tell how they perform
These outdoor faucet covers worked well for a tall spigot. They were large enough to fit over the entire faucet. I used other material for the post portion of the faucet. It was just what I was looking for. They haven’t been on very long, so I don’t know how durable they are, but they seem thick enough to do the job. I had no need for the 2nd one, so gave it to my son for his faucet.
