The Seller was very helpful in getting a refund for me, as it was too heavy for me. They contacted me to arrange collection to return etc, so very good outcome. If you have a problem contact Aivolt by email, and they’ll sort you out.
Haven’t really used it as yet as soon as you start it and move away say 10 ft at the most you cannot hear it is very quiet, output tested 800 w heater runs it fine, tools drills ect about 12 kilo but it’s a good size to carry compact starts on first pull every time. you will need to get a bottle of engine oil and petrol and your away full tank runs for around 8 hours tank holds under 3 quid so cheap as chips to ru
Nice compact machine, unfortunately I got the ‘bad’ one but ended well. Followed the instructions but it would not run. Contacted customer service who told me to contact Amazon. ‘Chatted’ with helpful Amazon assistant and got refund. Since then Aivolt customer service have contacted me to apologise for defective machine, made sure I have received refund and in general did their best to make up for bad experience, full marks for their efforts and because of this I would buy from them again.
Purchased this to power my sail boat when we are on the mooring. Solid build quality, easy instructions on starting and labels warning you to add oil and fuel before starting. Purchased the oil from Amazon as I couldn’t find it on Halfords. Runs small appliances on tickover then powers up for higher wattage appliances. Not too noisy as we sit it on the bow of the boat. Solid casing, easy starting and powerful. Best to buy a generator with a little more power than you need rather than on the limit.
Generator runs as it should. Nice and compact and runs fairly quiet. Good for camping etc. It’s quite lightweight for a generator. Runs on petrol, I’d advise using the premium petrol as I would use in any four stroke engine. Add oil, 10w30 and away you go. Good backup for a power cut etc and not too expensive to have sitting in the shed. I bought it with my own money and my review is an honest review from a buyer. I’d recommend this for camping and garden, home use. A tip is when you start it let it run for 5 minutes on full choke then gradually slide it to run. I find it runs quieter if you let it warm up on the choke. Absolute must for off grid camping.
Perfect for garden electrical equipment so no extension leads needed.
I had the oil & fuel ready to put in & had it use after a few minutes, easy guide to setting it up.
Easy start with the pull cord.
Good size. A bit louder than I thought it would be.
Not used it camping yet as that is what we bought it for. So in a field you may not be able to hear it so much.
Very sturdy and easy instructions to set up.
