Aninbo Multi Plug Adaptor with 3 USB ports, plug extender
Aninbo Multi Plug Adaptor with 3 USB ports, plug extender upside down extension plug with 90 or 180 degree, with night light dusk to dawn, USB plug with surge protector for Home Office Kitche
I bought this as I want to separate the WiFi Router’s AC Socket from the wifi powerline adapter, which occasionally has a glitch and needs to be reset. Now I can pull out the powerline adapter without affecting the Router’s AC plug. This Multi-Way Socket has a very useful night light feature which can be put on ‘Auto Switch On’ or Manual, and an Orientation selector vertical/horizontal. Nicely made too.
These multi-charge plugs are so handy! My old multi-charger was one of those that stuck out from the wall, so it was easily knocked, and it did not have a three-pin pug socket either. Now I still get to make full use of the regular socket, but I can also charge my iPad and my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra phone at the same time with two ports spare!
Does exactly what it is meant to do, so I’m happy. Definitely recommended!
Great as an adapter choice if you don’t need to worry about extending the availability of plug holes, just increasing them and adding more handy usb connections.
Overall build is robust and all connections work well.
On the downside when you pull out a plug that’s been put in the adapter you must be carefully when removing it otherwise you might loosen the adapter from the wall socket. I think it’s ideal use is in a single wall socket rather than with a double one.
The design is practical and a much more compact solution than an extension lead if all I need is additional plugs. It’s not obstructive when plugged into a double socket and can be rotated depending on how I want to use it, which is great especially if my wall socket is in a hard-to-reach area.
It feels durable and is reasonably sturdy when plugged into the wall. I do need to hold it in place when adding or removing a plug though otherwise it’ll most likely detach from the wall socket.
I really like how easy to reach the on and off switch is. Saves me from having to keep disconnecting the adapter or individual plugs to save electricity. The USB ports are also handy but they’re REALLY slow, even when I have nothing else plugged into the adapter.
It’s overall okay so if you need it mostly for the plugs I’d be happy to recommend. It’s just not my cup of tea as I have a lot of USB charging and this doesn’t help me with the very slow speeds.
I’m so impressed with this, I love that you can change the orientation of the plug depending on your needs – I’ve never seen that before but it’s genius. I have it set up with the extension sat the top so it doesn’t obstruct the plug beside it on the wall. The USB ports are super handy, it has a night light on the top of the extension which is a random but nice feature (which can be turned off), and it is surge protected. I have nothing bad to say about it. It’s made my powered kitchen gadgets so much easier to manage
Best ideea for a 3 way plug extender I have come across, not only that it has 3 sockets plus the usb ports for charging but it swings in 3 positions ao it makes it easy to position it wherever you want to fit it. One amendment though it only swing right up or down not left .
Pros
– good quality plastics, feel durable
– ability to rotate to position the main plug that goes into the socket
– light built in
– easy to switch on an off with the button for the main power
– good design overall
Cons
– when it’s in the wall, it doesn’t feel too secure. It is.. but you’ll notice a bit of tolerance movement
– switch for light could have been a bit easy to access and use, difficult to find the centre to turn it off
I was quite surprised with this when I pulled it out of the box. It’s actually fairly decently built with some sturdy feeling plastics. You can the ability to rotate it should you need to. It locks in 45 degree angles. This is an interesting feature I’ve not seen before on extensions.
I’m personally using this in the kitchen where I only have 1 plug socket and I need at least 3 plugs and a USB socket.
When in the wall it’s not the more sturdy thing as it does wobble a bit when putting plugs in. So I found I needed to support it a little more when putting plug or cables in. It’s not a deal breaker though in my opinion. Holds well and the ability to rotate it if needed is a great one. Makes it a bit more versatile for use in other locations.
The light is a cool addition although I’m not sure on the intention of what it’s for. It’s bright enough to provide some light but it’s not a light for a room. It’s more like a brighter night light due to it’s size.
The switch for it is a little too recessed for my liking. It makes finding the off position a bit awkward to stop at given its size.
I like the ease of access to turn it off as access to the switch on the wall is limited a little. You can still access it but it’s much easier just to power it off via the extension since it’s closer and on the front.
Not the most stylish of designs with the mix of red and green on white but it does it’s job!
Can definitely recommend if you need something like this.
