I’ve onoy used it once, but so far so good. I’ve used it to help start my car that had been parked up for 6 months and it worked well. Very happy with i

This started a 4 liter BMW which has stood for a year and has a completely dead battery. This meant we could drive the car to have the battery replaced and programmed. Very handy device, compact and easy to store and charge. My only question is how long it will last presumably it’s important to maintain a charge in the charger although I’ve not seen any information on this. Time will tell.

This little starter kit packs a punch, last used on a 1965 Fordson SuperMajor and it started it beautifully. Handy to have in the car and much less faff than jumper cables for not too different a price. I hope it lasts many years to come, I just check it’s got decent charge every 6 months but other than that it just sits there ready to go. Not too big, and also not so compact that you worry about getting a few goes out of it.

Used this a few times to jump start my 3.0L diesel Range Rover.
Each time the battery died and wouldn’t turn the car over, as soon as I hooked this up it started straight away.
Great bit if kit perfect size to have in the car, would recommend anyone to get one!

Not had to use this to jump start a car as yet, but has been used to power up mobiles and tablets when on a day out far from any mains electricity.

Seems well built and instructions are easy to follow. At this price it is worth having in the toolkit as a just in case essential.

Ordered this after my friend came to my rescue with his one. Was impressed by the quality and by how small, portable and easy to use this is. It arrived 80% charged so could have used it immediately but luckily haven’t needed to use my one yet. Can be used as a charger with the correct phone charging cable, also has a light. A handy little tool to keep in my 21 year old 1.6l car to give me piece of mind.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis jump starter has saved my bacon twice now in only 3 months, one time we would have been totally stranded and would have needed to call for recovery had it not been for this great little jump starter.

I charged it up after it arrived and left it in my glove box. The first use was over 2 months after I charged it and it still had 100% battery and it started a totally dead 2.0l petrol engine like it was nothing, very impressed for the money tbh the two uses its already paid for itself in my opinion.

The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s very cheap hard plasticky finish could do with like rubber moulding or something but I guess that would add to the cost, tbh I’d pay a bit more for this device with a rubber case or something.

Bought it as a precaution for daughters car, haven’t had to use it yet, charged to 100% quite fast. will add another review when i’ve had a chance to use it.

I bought this as an emergency back up for traveling to France in winter incase my car didn’t start after being parked up for a couple of weeks in the severe cold. I didn’t need it, but my camper van in the uk (Mazda bongo friendee) was completely flat when I got home and this started it immediately! My mum then borrowed it to start her car having left the interior light on by accident over a weekend. I am really impressed by this little bit of kit. The cables are short but you just have to be careful how you position it. Perfect for emergencies and I will take it with me camping just incase my bongo’s battery lets me down, which it normally doesn’t.

Saved me many a times recently with a dodgy car battery. The only real complaint I’ve had when using was that I have 2l diesel and after one boost it uses a lot of charge. I sometimes struggled if I had to boost my car more than once

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI got this jumper starter because my battery had run flat. I was skeptical because it’s so small but I had no other choice without another car to connect jumper cables to. Another option was to buy another battery but this was the cheaper and faster option without transport to somewhere like Halfords to get a battery.

The instructions are clear. The jumper starter is small and takes up next to no space. I can also use it to charge my phone which was a bonus. This was a great save and I should have bought one earlier. I wish the cables were just a bit longer but I understand that with longer cables comes voltage drop and it’s not something you want when you want to start your car.

My video shows my car out of battery. I connect the jumper starter, check to make sure it’s ok. Turn the key and my car comes back to life. What I don’t show is disconnecting the jumper starter which I pull the cable from the jumper starter before taking the clamps off the car battery. It was very easy to use especially if you have two hands and not holding a camera.

    I really hope this helps.

The Jump Starter was good value and delivered promptly. The current reviews on the item are good when you read between the lines and a look forward to having it as back up even if it is never used.

It feels solid, which in my view is good, and not as lightweight as others I’ve had in the past. I’ve used it twice so far as I don’t run my car often enough to keep the battery charged. On both occasions it started the motor immediately. Pleased with it so far.

This jump starter works alright for starting cars, I would’ve thought it would have a bit more energy. Charging phones and other devices works fine too, it functions as a general power bank. Would recommend.

Not used yet but definitely will be handy to have after a situation where the car went into sleep mode after being buffered by high winds. The mechanic who came out to boost the battery recommended this item

Left Toyota CHR hybrid for 3 weeks while on a cruise. Battery completely flat when I returned but luckily I had recently bought 1 of these. It was quick and easy to use. Started the car and saved me a long wait for assistance.

Great booster pack, compact, lightweight, easy to charge. Worked immediately, easy to connect and stores neatly. Has light on it in case of using in the dark. Excellent purchase. Recommended

I’m still making up my mind about this product. Yes, it has started a 4.2 litre Jaguar which had a battery with reduced charge, but it overheated quite quickly when starting a Mercedes ML320 which had a dead battery. I have a suspicion that it loses its own charge (without being used) quite quickly, too, but I haven’t had it long enough to know if the very cold weather played a part in that. One thing that is annoying is that you can hit the power button by just removing it from the box. However, it has (eventually) managed to start the vehicles that I used it on.

Bought this week as had flat battery (possibly due to cold weather) had flat battery again today, connected it pressed boost and car started immediately, I am very very impressed and have already recommended to work colleagues

The device just saved my day. My car has been unable to startup for 2 days due to low battery issue probably from the cold and I just didn’t bother. It’s been cold and haven’t had the chance to go buy a new battery. Thought of the easiest way out so bought this last night. Delivery was fast and arrived this morning. Car started quickly and back on the road already and battery fully charged up. Very useful and handy tool. Now I don’t think I need to buy a new battery for now and can save up. Thanks

I had a flat battery because car had not been driven for 6 months, so I bought the unit, it arrived within 36 hours of ordering, it was about 80% charged on arrival, so I charged it up to 100% for an hour or so, attached the cable to the unit, attached black to black & red to red between unit and car battery, fiddled around for “Boost” button (its on the black unit that you plug into the base unit!), pressed that and turned the engine over (a 2.5litre diesel engine). It started first time. I see I can also use the unit as a charge unit for my phone etc., getting perhaps 2 or 3 full charges out of it – enough for perhaps 10 days with careful useage.

It is such a good idea as the car can be jump started without another vehicle available. I have not had the need to use it yet but I have fully charged it in readiness and keep it in my car. I will check the charge every 3 months or so as per the instruction for use. There is also a torch on the charger and the facility to use it to charge a mobile. Invaluable if you travel alone and late at night or in areas where there are very few people.

Don’t use my car much since retirement. Had a flat battery on driveway and had to call on my recovery Home Start. Did not realise I’d opted for a 30 call out charge. Bought one of these next day, and only a week later it was needed. A couple of minutes later I was up and running once more: no wait, no call out fee. It used only 6 percent of its internal charge. Great stuff.

My wife’s car wouldn’t start one morning. It’s a hybrid car, and had a warning message of “abnormal voltage” and that it needed to be returned to the dealer, and refused to start. A bit of a Google, and I found out about these jump starter packs which were all over 150, so for 47 I thought this was worth a shot! This device doesn’t have as many features as some of the competitor products, but was simple enough to use. The main issue is that the leads are short, so I wasn’t able to clip the black clip to the engine bracket and the battery. As such I had to buy some additional cheap jump leads from the garage and daisy chain them. However once done, the device worked perfectly and the car started! I will now be keeping it in the boot just in case.
