This is a small and nicely made item that will make a connection between a USB-C device and an HDMI device. It is compatible with Apple MacBooks, Chromebook, and laptops which have a USB-C output. For example, one could connect a USB-C equipped computer or phone with an HDMI equipped TV and watch a programme that is on the phone or computer on the TV.
I’ve enjoyed using this as part of my (extensive) monitor setup for my laptop. Ordered this as I previously have had issues with the sync between the USB C And the HDMI with a different adapter.
This works well, the sync is quick and there are no quality issues with the monitor display.
The quality is good, it has a metal casing and feels durable, so it would be perfect for my work bag. Overall very happy with the product.
This is a useful device that enables you to break out a USB C port to give: –
1. A USB 3 port that can transfer data at USB 3 speeds. See screenshot from Crystal Disk Info performed on my Crucial X6 SSD connected through the port.
2 A HDMI Port that works well passing both video & Audio. I was unable to test the 4K video claim as no 4K monitor but no reason to dispute it. Note: you cannot connect this device to any USB C port to get a HDMI signal out. It needs to be a USB C port that supports video signal passthrough. These type ports are either called USB-C DisplayPort or DP Alt Mode.
3 A USB C port (this port does not carry data but power only for charging.)
Build quality seems good so would expect a to have a useful service life.
In the video, i was able to connect my phone to a screen and a mouse! It is perfect for you little office on the go if you access via phone. I wish there were two usb ports but honestly this is great for turning your phone into an office on the go.
This 3-in-1 adaptor, can be used with a phone, tablet or laptop, that has a USB-C/Thunderbolt socket. It provides an HDMI output, supporting 4K (3840 x 2160), HD (1920 x 1080), and lower resolutions. It also has a USB3 socket, and a USB-C port for power, which is handy, as it allows the device to be charged whilst in use.
When you connect it to your device, it should be recognised within a couple of seconds and ready for use. You could, for example, connect a USB memory stick (flash drive) and play a video through your TV, via HDMI. I tested it with my Lenovo T480s laptop, using it to support a second external monitor, and read/transfer files to/from a USB-C flash drive.
The adaptor is well-made, with a metal outer casing, and connects to your device via a short (0.1m) cable and a metal-clad USB-C plug. Both ends have a suitable strain relief, and all plug/socket contacts are gold-plated, so should provide a trouble-free connection.
This is perfect to link up my laptop to my TV and a second screen. Ideal when projects require a larger area to view thinks or simply just extra screens. 15 is fair – seems well built.
The unit arrived simply packed in a plain cardboard box.
The device is well built and seems to be of a very high quality finish.
For anyone who needs to split the display from their laptop’s USB C port this unit is ideal and is especially suitable for presentations where the user can manipulate the laptop and the additional outputs can be sent to large screens or projectors.
A bargain device that will solve a common display problem!
Works great. Allowed me to hook an external monitor to my laptop. I was capped at 30fps at 1080p, but it was good enough for my requirements (just browsing on a portrait monitor).
This is a great little device to have in my bag for when I might be needing to do presentations at clients – it means that if there are more people in the meeting than i expected I can use this with my iPad Pro to connect to an A/V setup, giving a much more professional delivery. I’ve also used it when travelling to connect my devices to large screen TV’s in hotel rooms so I can watch my own media library.
This adapter works well, and it’s a great price!
We plugged this into our Mac, and tested out all ports with no issued. The HDMI picture worked well, though we didn’t use it on a 4k TV. No issues with the USB ports, but we haven’t tried plugging the computer charging cable into the USBC port to see it it charges the computer.
For our simple needs (video out), this adapter did the job.
A nice small dual HDMI adapter, but will only work if your computer supports display over USB-C, typically this is thunderbolt ports. But do check your laptop supports this before buying this adapter. It is no different to similar adapters in this regard – it works, but not with any old USB C port. They do state this, but could be a little clearer about it. It isn’t USB-C as they say, it is a limited type of USB-C and that is only mentioned in the detailed description. So please check!
The device itself is nice, a metal case feels good. It does the job (above accepted). A nice quality but short USB C cable is integrated into it. Recommended if you have a compatible laptop.
So long as your device supports it, this type of adapter is a great way to connect to external displays. Whether giving a presentation, or just to use one or more external displays, this adapter will convert your USB C port to HDMI, making it so simple to do.
There’s a lot to like about this widget:
Compact and lightweight
USB C compatible
Can connect to TWO external monitors simultaneously
Monitors can display extended desktops (Windows only)
No drivers or other software needed
Works on Macs
No additional power required
However, not everything is rosy at least, for Mac users. To be fair, this is a failure of MacOS rather than a failing of the dongle, so it needs to be highlighted:
Macs can only mirror their display; the ability to show an expanded desktop view is not available.
Would I recommend it? Definitely, even for Mac users.
This dual HDMI adapter from Avigers comes in a 14.99 which unfortunately puts this adapter in the same price bracket as many multi-function adapters on Amazon. This is a shame because the output on this adapter is excellent and lives up to all of its claims.
I tested this with my MacBook Air M1 and my work’s Surface laptop. On the Mac – as expected you can only output a single unique image due to Apple being meanies (you can mirror 2 though). Connected to a 4K display I got a rock solid 60hz. Connecting to my 1080p ultrawide with VRR it held steady at the full 200hz! Great stuff.
The Surface could display 2 unique external screens and this worked perfectly.
In terms of its performance and actually living up to the 4K60 claims this is recommended.

I used this with a recent Macbook and could connect two external displays. Each display showed the same content – this is a mac limitation.
The adapter worked with both 4K and 1920 x 1200 pixel displays, and there were no software drivers required.
I got this to test with my NUC11 and LG C3 television, the specs were a bit vague but I wanted to see if it could manage 4K@60Hz with 10bit HDR. On that front it did not, 10bit maxes out at 4K@30Hz.
In al other respects for non HDR use it performs excellently, there is no difference from plugging the HDMI directly into my PC. If you have a NUC or similar that supports Display Port Alt Mode then this will let you add a natively driven extra screen to your setup.
My only minor gripe out this is the HDMI port, it’s a poor design, the plastic surround was too small and needed a lot of force intially to get a cable in (I tried three cables before deciding to shove it in). After this cable entry was easier but long term repeated insertions may cause the plastic housing to lose it’s shape which could lead to mating/connection issues.
I assume it is safe to say it is a good value as it is lightweight but quite minuscule, which worries me as I think there might be too much weight placed on the wires this thing is hanging off if you put you device on a stand. Also, there is, of course, no way of knowing whether it could, potentially, carry any mallard, so all a bit of a risk, really.
I ordered this on vine, although it has many, many uses, in my case I had a Fiio R7 DAC/AMP/streamer which I knew could be connected to TVs/monitors either via cabling or casting, but I wanted a permanent connection. This also having a USB A 3.0 port indicated by the signature blue colouration of it, and also type C 90W charging port means you can charge any connected devices up to PD 90W, or even just your phone. I can easily run a USBA or USBC cable from my laptop, as the type C on the Fiio R7 is both an input and an output that accepts both audio and imaging signals.
The primary description of this product was as a projector adapter with 90WPD, I don’t currently need to charge anything as the Fiio device has its own power. But you can see in the last photo i’ve replicated the android screen to my 4K TV, as I was able to use my laptops bluetooth mouse to control it via a cursor. But my issue was that it I was too far away to see well when i’m sat in bed. And the flash in the camera really highlights that my TV needs polishing, and my many audio cables need tidying but its a mini audio studio that needs tidying.
Nonetheless the adapter worked flawlessly, the quality of the nylon braided cabling and, the adaptor itself including all ports and the type C connection was very good. Not gold plated, but I’m pretty sure its another corrosion resistant alloy or plating, which is all that matters as digital signals will be sent through each input port and the main type C connection.
The product came in a nicely presented box, which a basic photo image on one side, and like a holographic image on the back, demonstrating what each port/connection was for.
As mentioned I do not have any current need for the 100W PD or thunderbolt like power capabilities, but i’m aware of the many, many scenarios that this adapter can be used for, other than the two i’ve mentioned. The most common probably being a laptop or phone adapter to a TV or monitor, you could also plug a USB drive in it and transfer files at 5GBps, as per USB 3,0.
The Fiio R7 has since been returned as for a 650 I was not impressed with the sound quality itself. But ive already ordered a superior replacement, and this adapter will be added to my collection to be reused with my laptop or when necessary.
Regarding this adapter and product, I see no reason to deduct any stars, it does as is described.
