Absolutely LOVED this series – one of the best I’ve seen – very ‘current’ too. Damien Lewis is amazing (as he is in all his work) – but it was also the first show that I’ve seen using an actor that identified as ‘they’ in the series as well as in real life (Asia Kate Dillon).
After so many years only knowing the identities of he/she it was good to see someone identify as ‘They’ on TV in a really strong character.
In my opinion being one of the more progressive series’ ever been on TV. It was just really sad it came to an end when Damien Lewis lost his wife in real life – but the way the show was closed was nice and as complete as it could be all things considered.
At the expense of the plot feeling a bit rushed, it was nice to see the majority of the cast of characters have a happy ending. Even Prince was left with his dignity, as well as a miniscule portion of his fortune intact. A nice job.
Billions has been great all along but they have outdone themselves with this ending. Brilliant with unexpected twists and it leaves you feeling good and happy for everyone ( …nothing worse than investing years in a great show only to get an unsatisfying ending or none at all when shows get cancelled). One of the best shows ever and in the end everyone got what they deserved.
