I recently upgraded my car audio system with the Bluetooth Car Adapter FM Transmitter Receiver, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and convenience.
First and foremost, the 42W PD 3.0 Cigarette Lighter USB C Car Charger Adapter provides fast and efficient charging for my devices while I’m on the road. Whether it’s my smartphone, tablet, or other USB-powered devices, I can count on this adapter to deliver a quick and reliable charge, keeping my devices powered up throughout my journey.
The Bluetooth connectivity feature is a game-changer for me. I can easily pair my smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices with the adapter, allowing me to stream music, podcasts, or audiobooks directly from my device to my car’s audio system. The sound quality is excellent, with crisp highs and deep bass, providing an immersive listening experience on the go.
I also appreciate the hands-free calling feature, which allows me to make and receive calls safely while driving. The built-in microphone picks up my voice clearly, and the noise-canceling technology ensures that I can have crystal-clear conversations even in noisy environments.
Another standout feature of this adapter is its wireless FM radio capability. With just a few simple steps, I can tune into my favorite radio stations and enjoy a wide range of music and talk shows without any hassle.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my Bluetooth Car Adapter FM Transmitter Receiver. Its versatile features, fast charging capabilities, and seamless connectivity make it an essential accessory for any car owner looking to upgrade their audio system. Whether you’re commuting to work or embarking on a road trip, this adapter is sure to enhance your driving experience.
This Bluetooth Car Adapter features the Bluetooth 5.1 technology for a faster, more stable and smarter connection with less sound quality loss, uninterrupted calls and music experience. It comes with 2 USB ports (USB-A and 30W USB-C PD) which can be used to charge any device on the go. It features a highly sensitive built-in microphone which picks up voice effectively and removes the background noises with the help of CVC Noise cancellation technology. Overall, great piece of kit with a wealth of features.
Simply plug this little bluetooth adapter in your lighter car port and it works out of the box. It contains several functions:
1. A voltage when plugged in initially, does seems to match the value given.
2. A USB-A and USB-C cable, both appear to work OK.
3. Bluetooth to pickup calls
4. Radio and extra buttons to plug in a stereo head, volume, skip tracks.
It seems to work OK, however the microphone isn’t too great. The controls are also not easy to reach depending on where your 12V port is located. The advertised USB is 30W PD, but the listing mentions 42W PD instead which is wrong.
I had a completely different Bluetooth –> FM Radio thingy in my car and it took me a while to realise that whenever I used it my Toyota’s in-built satnav would lose its position. I took the transmitter out and my satnav returned to normal. With some hesitation I ordered this product and I’m really pleased to say that so far it has worked beautifully.
Out of the box, this unit looks and feels like it is good quality. Ergonomically I like the display and the rotating selection button. The latter makes re-tuning the device much easier than press-down-and-hold buttons. It comes with a small printed user guide that is actually readable/useful. And another thing I like is that the voices, e.g. “Waiting for bluetooth connection” are in an understandable fairly neutral accent – not heavily accented Chinese like my previous transmitter.
Sound is good. It’s not perfect but it’s way better than any other unit that I have tried. Connection time is good after (re)starting the car.
Overall it does the job it’s supposed to do with no nasty surprises (like messing up my satnav!) Definitely a keeper.
This is an amazing little device.
Build Quality
—————
Although the case is all plastic, the grey plastic used for most of the body makes it look like aluminium and gives it a quality appearance. All the buttons work with a reassuring click and the thumbwheel works smoothly with a clicking motion. The only minus point is the LED display where the segments are of differing brightness which makes it a little hard to read at times.
USB Charging
—————-
Worked without issue on both the USB A and USB C sockets
Voltage Display
——————
In order to display the voltage, you need to press and hold the ‘Back’ button under the USB A socket until the voltage is displayed. This is not mentioned in the instructions. I compared the reading with a multimeter and found it under-reading slightly at 12.5 V vs 12.74 V on the multimeter. Given the price point of this device, that is reasonably close and certainly better than some cigar lighter socket voltmeters I have seen. When you press the back button, it also announces over the radio whether the voltage is within acceptable range. This saves you taking your eyes off the road.
Bluetooth and Radio Pairing
———————————
Bluetooth pairing was very easy as it appears to be available for pairing all the time its plugged in. Just plug it in and search for T16 on your phone.
Likewise, radio pairing is easy. Just press and hold the ‘Call’ button until the frequency display flashes, then use the thumbwheel to change the frequency to whatever you wish. On the car radio, just tune it into that same frequency.
Music playback is surprisingly good quality and volume can be controlled via the thumbwheel. The back and forward buttons under the USB A socket can be used to change tracks.
Music playback through aux socket
—————————————-
You can also connect an audio device (phone/MP3 player etc) to the aux socket on the device (lead not supplied) and have it play back over the cars audio system. Again, sound quality is good.
Phone hands free
——————–
When paired to your phone via bluetooth you can use the ‘Call’ button to answer/reject/end/callback.
Voice prompts
—————–
Its impressive that the device will play appropriate voice notifications over the car system, e.g when measuring voltage, connecting an aux device or switching to bluetooth mode.
Overall, this device packs an amazing amount of functionality into such a small and smart looking package. Its invaluable if you have a car audio system without bluetooth phone integration. Even if you dont need the bluetooth integration, the voltage measuremnt and charging functionality is very useful. The price of the device is also very competitive.
Highly recommended
The Bluetooth Car Adapter FM Transmitter Receiver is an absolute game-changer for my daily commute! With its 42W PD 3.0 Cigarette Lighter USB C Car Charger, I can charge my devices rapidly while enjoying seamless Bluetooth connectivity. The FM transmitter allows me to stream music and take calls hands-free, creating a safer and more enjoyable driving experience. Its compact design fits perfectly into my car’s cigarette lighter socket, and the user-friendly interface makes setup a breeze. If you’re looking to upgrade your car’s connectivity, this adapter is a must-have!
Excellent transmitter setting up is so simple you simply plug it into your cigarette lighter in your car then link your phone , next you dial the frequency on the unit via the rotary knob on the side to whatever frequency you wish then dial the same on your car radio and presto instant sounds from your phone it really is that simple you also get volume control and a usb port to charge your phone,
The signal strength is amazing it doesnt drop out or crackle like my last one
i very highly recomend i
The device itself is quite small just under 4cm square on its presenting face.
On my car the 12v sockets are located under the dashboard and have hinged caps on them.
The hinged caps did not cause a problem, but the location being low and under the dash cased difficulty when reading and pressing buttons, you certainly could not use this when driving. However, this is not an issue with the device it’s a location issue linked to my car.
Functionality:
* I found the Bluetooth easy to set up with my phone.
* I was able to charge my phone.
* The car battery voltage displayed (My car is a hybrid)
* I was able to tune in to the cars FM radio. In fact, my car automatically picked up the new transmission and tuned in automatically.
* I was able to play music from my phone both by Bluetooth and wired. There was no noticeable distortion/interference with the music.
* Voice prompts were good and loud.
* It picked up calls, but mic too far away (location issue again).
As my car already links via Bluetooth with my phone I don’t really need this functionality in my phone but it’s useful as a charger and being small is easily portable and so can be used in another car (e.g. hire car) or with another phone. In addition, with the wired connection this can link to a non-Bluetooth device to play music such as an MP3 player.
The device itself is good, it has a lot to offer in features and sound quality is good. However, car socket location may be a issue as this device is best used within easy sight/reach.
