I’ve been using these gloves all winter and I won’t ever go back to non touch screen gloves! The convenience is worth it! My gloves have however started to show signs of wear and tear despite me looking after them. One of the microfibre fingers no longer works and there is a hole developing on both gloves between the thumb and index finger.
Touch controls do work, but it’s very much of a hit and miss situation. You really need to have the fingers pressed very well against the fabric and then against the screen, in order for it to register the touch, which is quite annoying and not the best experience. But the grip is really strong and firm for pretty much any object, and they’re really comfortable overall. So just something to keep in mind. I wouldn’t say they’d be ok for typing, at best you can do some basic actions on your phone, and maybe get around with texting if you’re familiar with gesture swiping. Otherwise, forget being able to use your phone as in any other sitatio
These gloves are well insulated and keep my hands alot warmer than any other gloves I’ve ever had.
I am one of these people who as soon as it’s cold, my hands are freezing. I suffer badly with chill blains and these gloves definitely help.
I wore them all day in the snow a couple of weeks ago and my hands actually stayed warm for the first time ever however, if there is a bitter wind then my hands do still get cold with these gloves on.
Overall I am very happy with these.
I bought these touchscreen gloves as a gift. I choose these particular gloves as they have three touchscreen sensitive finger tips, thumb, index finger and middle finger, all work very well. Our only slight negative is that the thumb tip needs to be in line to the thumb in order to work, sometimes when the gloves were first put on they needed adjusting, as they twisted to the seam. They are good touchscreen gloves for general everyday use, but not great for extreme cold weather as thicker gloves would loose their sensitive touch to handle the touchscreen.
Overall they work great and having the three finger touchscreen gives better control over your device. Happy customer.
I didn’t know how to rate these gloves – because they are actually great.
The main reason you’ll be looking at buying them is the touchscreen ability – so let’s look at that…. The touch screen material – sewn into every part of the glove works perfect. Texting, browsing, using my iPhone X works perfect. I can type two-handed with my thumbs no problem. So 5/5 for that.
The gloves are very thin – much thinner then your typical wool gloves. You’ll be able to wear these under thicker gloves if you needed to, and they are warm on their own. Again 5/5
The grip – the silicone print lets you hold your slippery phone no issue. 5/5
So why 4 stars? Because the “one size fits all”. It’s just not possible. I’m 5ft 11″. I’ve got normal size hands. The gloves are too tight. They make my fingers go cold they are that tight.
They are that small – the fingers aren’t long enough so you get like a “webbed” fingers of wool.
I understand that to work well for touchscreen devices – the material needs to be snug against your skin. But really – unless they stretch. They’ll be unusable for me.
I’m going to try and stretch them a bit. Or I’ll have to give them to someone who has smaller hands.
A nicely made warm pair of gloves which are comfy in the colder weather. The grip is useful for holding onto things.
However, the sizing is a bit small. I ordered a men’s pair but they fit even me (I am a female with average hands) a tiny bit tightly.
The touchscreen capability was also very patchy – the first time they worked okay for using my iPhone, but the second time I could barely get them to work beyond simple scrolling. I’d still use them for when it is cold and for basic phone functions but I wouldn’t rely on them for typing, etc.
P.S. I gave it 3* rating originally and was subsequently offered a refund by the seller. This is nice so I upped it to 4*.
