Very easy to pit together and very impressed that screwdriver and gloves are included with the kit. My 16 month old was very inquisitive from the off and set about learning to climb it straightaway. It will take some learning, with figuring out how to climb through the gap. Overall really happy with this lovely product.
Assembly took around 15-20 min and to my amazement, the kit has come with protective gloves and even screw driver. So that’s a good start.
It’s reasonably sturdy even with my crazy 16months old daughter. She learned how to climb into it but still needs to work out how to get out by herself.
It is so helpful while I cook and prep, so she feels like she is part of it rather than hugging my legs from the floor level.
At first I thought she’d be too young but as long as I am with her (stopping her from climbing on the worktop) this item is perfect.
It looks pretty good, not as bulky like some others I’ve seen. Looks quality and for reasonable price (again comparing to others, because I can’t understand why similar items costs so much in the first place, it’s just a stool with a little support frame).
It needs some non stick pads for the little step at least. If your kid is in socks it will help them get down without slipping off the bottom step. It was easy to assemble and feels sturdy. Perfect counter height. My son loved climbing in and out of it.
I spent a while looking at different options for these towers, this one is a lot cheaper than the ‘branded’ ones on the market and it’s just as good. It’s very sturdy and our 19 month old starting climbing before his dad had finished building! There was one piece labelled incorrectly but it’s fairly straight forward to build.
Very good quality item and safe for the toddler. My baby easily maneuvered himself up and down the kitchen helper and loves it. Just to take note of the item as I ordered the wrong one, which was not adjustable in height but my mistake though. Overall, a good quality and affordable purchase.
The only “downside” is that it will be slippery, as any wooden surface, if he is wearing socks. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of.
Other than that, he can easily go up and down himself without any help, so a little more independence for him.
Regarding the build: very easy to put together, all necessary tools are included and even gloves, which I had never seen before.
Haven’t had a more expensive one, but considering the quality of this one, I don’t think spending more money is necessary.
Bought this item instead of a cheaper plastic model. Roughly 20 more than the cheapest plastic one at the time. If you have budget buy it. I’m very pleased with it.
