I’ve got a large mixing desk and I wanted a large format mat with some sort of light to help illuminate more of the work surface.
I wasn’t interested in setting various RGB colour schemes etc all I wanted was a static, single colour light.
I can see how if the quality control isn’t great, that when unrolling the mat (or at point of manufacture) you can stand a chance of it not laying flat. I’ve seen the other images and can totally see how it’s happening, rest assured this is something you can return and reorder and you will get a decent one.
The good things about this, runs on USB so it’s on when the PC is, it’s a one click button to switch on and uses the last colour selected. The globe on the mat isn’t the highest resolution print but it’s still legible and I’m terrible at geography so this was nice to look down at.
The light is sufficiently bright without being retina burning (stuff that lights in the peripheral can be annoying at best if it’s the wrong intensity / direction). You can cycle through colours / few modes and styles by pressing the switch, and you hold the switch to turn it off when done.
The bad bits / small design flaws.
1) there is no way to program functions, what you get is SIMPLE, but it works
2) The mat has a small light block built into the switch which sends the light through a optical cable which bends around the mat. Because of the angle of the light block and the light bleed from the plastic casing I had to put a small amount of black nail varnish right on the outside edge of the tube + case as the light bleed made the light look uneven and it was hurting my eyes always being in the corner of my vision.
3) Not that I need it, but just to be clear this can do 2 colours at the same time max, the rainbows you see are just 2 different colours from either side of the black box sending light around the tube, the variance is where the colours meet halfway around the mat, there is NO animation around the mat, just blinking on / off / colour changes / fades etc.
I bought this as like a desk matt. My old one I used to slip off the side of the matt as it was to small. Not with this one. This one is massive and is very good value for money
Really big mouse pad. I have to say that this feels really premium. It has a few RGB options and easy to use. Playing Warzone on keyboard and mouse left me with alot of space for mouse movement. The mouse feels great to use on this mouse pad. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to buy a RGB mouse pad with alot of space. You will need a big enough desk for it.
Only problem I found was the RGB power connector. It plugged in really easy but the cable management clips feel to tight. I had to use a lot of pressure to put the cable in the clips, almost felt like it was about to break.

Looks great had to dismantle it to trim the tube around the edge, was a good inch and a half too long so caused it to curl and bend the matt up

I previously had a mousepad from this company which was 1200×400 I thought it would be a bit rubbish because of the price but absolutely loved it so I decided to upgrade to fit my whole desk while scrolling through Amazon I found this company again and decided to pick one up with lights and I love it I recommend for anyone looking for great pad for this price range don’t expect the lights to perfect all the way around the mat tho they are dim on the opposite side of the controller.
This product is simply PERFECT… Stop reading and just buy it…
It is an amazing product, from the lights to feel in quality it its amazing looks perfect on my desk with my series x console that I have also modified with RBG lighting, Great match, Perfect product, I have recommended this to 50+ people already, its that good!!!!
