I’d picked these up for my 4 year olds first bike and we both were in agreement that they look great!
Fitting/Compatibility
Fitting is a simple task thanks to the included tools but as always, I’d advise using your own if you have them!
For awareness, my daughters bike is an Apollo Cupcake which came with its own stabilisers from new. This was as simple as removing the existing stabiliser wheels and swapping for these on the existing stabiliser bracket.
However, if your bike doesn’t have stabilisers, these come with universal brackets which can be repositioned as appropriate to fit different sized bikes.
Quality
The wheels are the type of rubber you’d typically see on scooter wheels and as such these will likely not remain transparent for long after months of use on the UK pavements/roads but that will in no way affect their performance.
Thanks to them being rubber, you might find that these are much quieter than your existing hard plastic/rattly stabiliser wheels.
Conclusion
The only complaint I have about these, and the main reason I have opted for 4 stars, is that in order for them to light up fully you need to be going quite fast. If your speed isn’t fast enough you’ll typically only get 1-2 of the 3 colours showing. This was something that my daughter was initially struggling with and was disappointing for her.
However, a little extra oomph from a dad push had the full colours glowing in no time (no injuries were incurred in the reviewing of this product! ).
I’d still definitely recommend these wheels.
Ideal stabiliser for adding to their first bike. All the parts are in the box, and although it looks a lot they are actually easy to put together and fix on to the bike. I used this for my granddaughter and they felt really stable, not as wobbly I remember from when my kids were little. All the parts seem sturdy, when fixed together they all feel solid. Good value item.
The versatility of these stabilisers is a huge plus. They fit a range of bike sizes from 12 to 20 inches, both variable speed and single-speed bicycles. This adaptability means they can grow with my child’s bike, making them a long-term investment.

Installation was relatively easy, thanks to the comprehensive set of tools provided. However, I had to tinker a bit to get the wheels adjusted perfectly, which was a bit of a challenge but manageable.

I appreciated not having to hunt for tools or make an extra trip to the hardware store. The instructions were clear, and I had the stabilisers fitted in no time.
