I really like these controller grips. They fit the controllers perfectly and don’t move around while I’m playing fitness games on my Quest 3. I accidentally tore the velcro and the company was quick to respond to my message to them. A+ customer service. I highly recommend them, if you’re looking for a full cover for your Quest 3 controllers.
These work perfectly with the meta quest 3. I used them on my son’s meta quest 3 over Christmas with the preloaded aircraft game. These fit perfectly in your hand and are comfortable. When I got scared at the two brown gloves working the plane controls I didn’t end up throwing the controllers across the room. They not only protect the valuable controllers but they also help you grip them properly. My son is a tech expert and he loves these so I’d definitely recommend them.
A nice contrast to the white controllers, comfortable and the strap fits snug, most straps have the buckle thing at top and can dig in to the index knuckle, not the case here. I haven’t spotted any dead spots to the sensors yet.
Finally a good accessory for the Quest 3 that does everything it needs to. Buy these. These are my new recommendation to friends Quest 3 hand straps. They check all the boxes.
+ There’s no metal buckles sitting over my knuckles
+ The top attachment is high enough I can fit my hands into straps..
+ There’s enough strap length I can fit my hands inside and still reach the controls.
+ It doesn’t block the top sensor ring or the lower LED on the hand guard.
+ It doesn’t block the joystick with a thick wrap around the top like some do.
+ It still allows me to use the original wrist strap so I can let the controllers dangle when I want to use my hands.
+ It stays on the controller.
+ It isn’t too hard to slide down to change the battery.
The only thing I might change if I designed these myself is Maybe a bit more aggressive grip texture and slightly wider straps. But honestly both of these are fine as-is.
I bought the previous model (without the holes for the IR lights at the bottom), then left a review and my only complaint was that the bottom cutouts were missing. They went out of their way to ensure I received the newer version with the holes. They charged me nothing too!
As for the grips themselves, they are virtually perfect. They’re a soft rubber that feel great. All the cutouts are there and nothing gets stuck or covered. They even have a slit for the bottom string that comes with the controllers. The strap feels sturdy. the price for these compared to others is great.
The only thing you miss out on is an easy to eject battery slot, but the grip is simple enough to take on and off it needed. I’ll gladly miss out on that if it means a great price compared to others, and a soft finish as well.
These are a great product. Your hand slips in and they have a lovely texture. If you get an itch between your fingers you don’t have to put the controller down to flex your fingers.
They are very well made and fit perfectly. The triggers and grips are unimpeded by the rubber. You lose no functionality of the controller. They are Velcro adjustable and look very good on. The strap is also magnetic at the bottom if you’ve adjusted it tight and don’t want to loosen the Velcro again. They also offer protection if you drop the controllers.
There’s nothing not to like here. For me being able to flex my hands while using the controllers makes them much more comfortable. They stop the controllers getting grubby and make them nicer to hold. I have the Destek head strap for the Quest 3 as well which makes playing so much more comfortable. I like the brand and these don’t disappoint. I’d definitely recommend. 5* for me.
