I really like the white noise and heart beat sounds. There are nice two lullaby as well. You can set up timer 30,60 or 90 mins or if you want to play as long as you wish. Got nice light which you can set it up to your liking. The only minor I would say it’s one sound which I thought it’s a manufactured issue was some Chinese background talk-very strange!

The Dream Egg White Noise Machine is a lifesaver for parents with little ones! Its portability is fantastic — perfect for soothing my baby in the pram. Have used this product since our baby was a week old and at six weeks old she loves it. We’ve only used it at night time so as soon as we turn it on she associates it with nighttime and begins nodding off. Love the various sounds and the timer option so it’s not left on all night. It’s used for an hour every night and only need to charge it once a week. It’s light and will be easy to pop in your bag should you need it while out and about.
I should buy it with a first baby too. Amazing stuff. Light control, lots of sounds and good volume. Very portable and small. I am using it for past 3 months and very satisfied
We have a 16 week old baby and needed a white noise machine that stayed on continuously over night and a night light could be dimmed or brightened. The dream egg has been perfect and by far the best baby related purchase we’ve made. This helps the baby sleep through the night. It’s really easy to use and has many different sounds including white noise and shushing which we find really useful. The night light dims to a low light which can stay on all night without waking baby. Also, big benefit- you can plug it in and it’s rechargeable so you don’t have to worry batteries will running out and you can take it anywhere. We love the dreamegg. We also bought on Amazon prime day and got 25% off!!
Noise selection good. We’ve been using the white noise and it works a treat. Big enough that you can’t lose it in the dark but not bulky. Bit disappointed that charge doesn’t tell you when it’s running low, it just cuts out. In the middle of the night this is pretty frustrating so we keep it on charge nightly. The night light is ambient and calm but a shame it only works when the sound is on. Would be nice to have a sound OR light function too.
Overall, does the job but room for product improvement considering the price.
With my first child we used spotify on offline mode and an old mobile – if had to constantly be on charge and our spotify recommend was filled with rain noise recommendations – annoying.
When we had our second and he seemd to like white noise, we no longer had a spare phone and I thought surely there is something to replace using my phone. This is it and it is fantastic.
The noise control is fabulous – so many settings that you can get the volume you need.
The different sounds are amazing – no matter what you need for your baby this has it.
The timer function is great- when it gets to the end of 30/60/90 minutes the sound fades out so it doesn’t just abruptly stop which is a great addition. I don’t regularly use the timer setting as we keep it on the whole time our baby is asleep as my older child is rather loud and this somewhat drowns her out.
The charge is brilliant, it fully charges in an hour and the charge lasts from 7pm to 7am, I then charge it up and use it for all his daytime naps and put it on charge whilst we do his bath.
It would probably last longer than this 12hour stint but I’ve never tested that out.
This is by far the best baby gadget I have ever bought and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone with a newborn baby. My baby wakes once or twice in the night for feeds – this might be partially down to this device (he is 3 months old and has slept like that since birth).
In addition to the above it has a nightlight feature – we have an additional nightlight that helps with feeding but this will come in very handy when he is in his own room. You can change the intensity of the light and can also have it fading on and off – a great distraction tool to help them drift off themselves.
The device somes with a shoelace tie and also a clip – both brilliant for attaching it to his daytime crib or his cot to keep it out of his reach but close enough to him for effect.
If you are on the fence you will not regret buying this!
You have the option of three timers ( up to 90min) or non at all. All have been excellent this is a lot better compared to let’s say Ewan the sheep. We can put it on during the day and when I need to do odd jobs around the house that require a bit of noise I know that I can get them done without disturbing the little one. The noises them selves have quite a range to choose from. You are spoilt for choice. We have used mainly the white noise or waves so far. My only qualm is the fact that whilst there is a feral heart beat on the egg, you can’t play it with another sound like waves (like Ewan the sheep).
The child lock is brilliant and even if baby gets their hand on it, it’s also pretty chew proof!
I love the design of the light and speaker merging into one. The light has two functions which are good, but for a brighter light you have to put it on a flashing option. The lower non flashing light isn’t quite bright enough to see with in a darkened room and the flashing is too stimulating. However it is a warm glow as to not to disturb too much.
The volume is really loud if you want it to be and compared to other comparison reviews of white noise machines it says it’s not as loud as others but it is definitely loud enough for us! Anything louder you wouldn’t want!
It’s small compact and portable, beautifully styled and a great product for my baby. It’s also helped me sleep too!
