I brought this for my grandchildren to use when they are on the PC at mine as they can get very annoyed when the dogs pull the wire on the one we currently have. It was a simple case of unpacking it and plugging it in without the need to download any drivers.
I especially like that it is a fully wireless controller even when used with a PC, a lot of the others I looked at that said they were wireless but were only wireless with consoles and then wired with a computer.
The price is very good for a fully wireless controller and it feels like it will survive well when they get frustrated with a game.
With three modes of connection (wireless dongle, usb wire and bluetooth) this controller is designed to work across various platforms. Having tried this on Win10 and an android phone I believe it is reasonably priced for the capabilities it has, and the quality of its build.
The shape is reminiscent of an x-box controller and is lightweight to hold. The controls are responsive, though the back r and l trigger buttons are quite squishy. A little more resistantance would help enable clearer tactile responses.
After reading through (almost) all the reviews, I figured you need to pair (bluetooth, no adaptor) this controller using the iOS method to a SteamDeck if you want the home button to function. I was on the verge of sending it back as having the home button work is important when you have your SD docked by the TV! I also wanted to be able to use it without the dock, hence the want for Bluetooth as opposed to USB adapter.
Other than that, it seems to work fine! Turns on, reconnects without issue and in a timely manner.
Quality is kinda mediocre but certainly not terrible. Perfectly fair for the price. Buttons feel fine to use too.
If this had clarification how to connect to Linux/SteamDeck in the instructions I would give it 5*
I bought this so I could sync it with my android tv and play games off the google playstore, pleased to say it works perfectly, straight forward plug and play, very happy with this purchase
