PROS: This is silky soft, very cosy, works well. Kept me cold in friend’s home that has a much different comfort zone than I do.
I have washed it but I did it by hand and kept the connector corner out of the water even though the instructions do not say to do that.
Packs away a treat.
CONS: I wish it was a little wider just for convenience as I am a “well proportioned” person. It covers well but I fidget a lot when relaxing
This has become a staple in our home over the colder months. It now lives permanently in the living room for those cosy nights on the sofa. Heats up quickly, evenly distributed heat & it’s big enough to fit 2 adults under it sat side by side. The timer switch is a great safety feature too. Costs pennies to run. 10/10.
Bought as a gift for my younger brother whose flat gets very cold in the winter. He’s trying to keep costs down on heating and after reading the reviews I thought this would be a great help. He loves it! It’s super soft and heats up quickly. 100% recommend
I tried a few ways of using this heated blanket and settled for sitting on it. It looks neater and I don’t have to keep putting it away when not in use. I also use a throw on top to cover me when it’s extremely cold. I find it very snug and comforting and can switch my central heating off once I’m warmed up. The control is really easy to use, I start on 10 then go down to 5 once I’m warmed up. My neighbour also bought one as soon as she saw mine.
Fantastic blanket heats up really quick, bought it for husband as he works outdoors and is always cold in the evening when he is home.
Took it to our caravan and used it as an over blanket in bed it was the best idea ever and set the timer to go off after 3 hours, going to get another one for our camper van.
This throw was purchased to go onto our double bed and add that little bit of extra warmth,prior to our getting into bed. It is a worthwhile purchase;and has merit,each and every evening. It certainly adds welcome comfort,all round.
Very hard to turn on to start with. I even thought that it was broken after a couple of uses but it seems to be working now. My blanket has warmer and colder areas but does the job. The blanket itself is very warm.
I bought this blanket as an early Christmas present for my partner. I was unsure if it would work when unboxing as some reviews of similar products say its broken out of the box. I did see flashing digits on the display and had no feedback. However a switch off/on at the socket and it was working and has been ever since.
Extremely comfortable and quick to heat up. Wish I saved this for an Xmas gift now!
Time will tell how long it keeps working, but so far so good 🙂
I chose this heated blanket as most heated blankets have one side soft like this one, and then the other side a type of material that I absolutely can’t stand, likely due to my neurodivergence. This blanket is unbelievably soft both sides, a real delight to have on.
It also heats up quickly, has several heating levels as well as a timer. It’s really saved me these past few days as it get colder, can definitely recommend!
Great blanket, does exactly as stated and warms up very quickly. I love it and use it everyday. However I’ve rated 4/5 stars as the wire gets in the way as it isn’t very long and plugs into one corner of the blanket. Would be much better with a wireless controller however works perfectly!
I hate being cold and finally decided to invest in a heated throw. Looked at so many different ones and as this had 5* reviews, took a chance on it being as good as other people said it was. As soon as I took it out of the box, it exceeded my expectations. It is SO soft and thick that just using it without the heat made me feel warmer. After 5 minutes of being on the highest heat, I turned it down to 5, then to 1 and I was still warm and cosy. The material is the same on both sides, so it really feels snuggly.
This is going to be a real game-changer for me. This is a genuine review. Don’t bother looking at cheaper brands. The thickness and softness of this throw is brilliant. Easy to use controls and full range of temperatures to keep it economical. Worth every penny!
I recently got this electric blanket since winter is finally here in London. It is really comfy, practical and has a nice premium feel to it.
My second favourite aspect of it is the controls. It helps you find that sweet spot with what heat you want. You have a nice timer if you think you are gonna fall asleep given the current tariffs – especially when using it on the sofa and watching TV (I’ve done a couple of times now)
It’s big enough to be shared with a partner (again helps the bill).

It’s a lovely shade of slate grey that goes really nicely with my decor and even better as it’s washable. The quality of the material is really nice and very soft.
I love that you have more control over the temperature than the electric blanket on my bed which only has three heat settings – this one has 10! It also has a timer so you can turn it on for a set amount of time, up to 10 hours which is really useful. The control is really simple to use.
I’m looking forward to being comfy and cosy whilst snuggling up on the sofa this winter, although that’s if I get a look in as my son keeps stealing it for his bed!

With 10 levels, 10 is properly toasty, but prefer about 3 for just keeping warm. The timer is handy, so I know if I doze off, it won’t be on all night.
A “velvet” feel blanket to snuggle under and get cosy with. Perfect for movie nights, and to save a few when it’s not worth turning the heating on if you’re only in for an hour for example. Heats up in a couple of minutes, with 10 levels. 10 is properly toasty, but we prefer about 4 for just keeping cosy. The timer is handy, so I know if I doze off, it won’t be on all night, and it has a better selection of durations than my silentnight underblanket, that only stays on for an hour before needing to be restarted. The grey colour is neutral enough to not look out of place as a throw on the back of the sofa, and then just pull it down and over for a nice warm blanket.
Genuinely had three evenings now, where I would probably have put the heating on, but just had this over my lap on the sofa and didn’t even think about firing up the boiler, at 160W maximum, thats got to be cheaper! (I’m going to put a smart socket on it, partly so I can turn it on and off remotely, but also so I can see how cheap it is to run!)
Only negative I could find is the plug where the cable disconnects, in the picture (so you can wash it) is a little bit lumpy, so if you fall asleep on it, it might wake you up, but that’s probably more my fault for falling asleep on it!
What I appreciate most is the control it offers. With 10 different heat settings, you can find the perfect warmth. The 10-hour auto shut-off timer is handy. It’s a relief to know it won’t be running all night, saving on electricity bills.
Safety-wise, I like that it’s TV certified. The overheat protection is reassuring, ensuring it won’t get too hot.
A big plus is that you can wash it in the machine (just remember to unplug it and remove the control unit lol). Follow the instructions, and it’s easy to clean.
It’s a decent size for sharing. The longer power cord is practical too. It’s energy-efficient, so it keeps you warm without hiking up your electricity bill.
Overall, it’s a great winter addition. Nothing fancy, but it’s comfortable, practical, and gets the job done.

Watching the smart meter as it warms up, it doesnt go above 3p a hour. So cheap to run.
The blanket is a nice size and wraps round you. It has a nice soft velvet feel to it. So not only does it feel nice, it also keeps you warm.
I love the fact you can detach the lead and put the blanket in the washing machine.
It has a timer, which goes from 1 to 10 hours.
It also has a 1 to 10 scale for the warmth. I quite like it around 7.
The control is easy to use and is quite self explanatory.
Cant find anything negative with it.
Looking forward to keeping warm with it when the temperature drops.
Got this to keep me warm when I work from home as our home office is freezing. It’s a lovely soft dark grey blanket even without the heating option! The control lead plugs into the blanket and has 9 different heat levels and an adjustable timer function for up to 10 hours. On level 9, it’s a lovely gentle warmth, but not scorching hot (for safety I guess!).
Blanket is also apparently washable which is great.
Very pleased so far, am looking forward to being warm in the study for once.
It warms up in about 15 minutes to the selected temperature setting and can be set in 1-hour increments to automatically turn off. The heating strips cover the entire length and the central 3/5 of the width.
I have also washed it on a delicate cycle in my washing machine, and it continues to work without any performance loss.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality and velvety softness of the blanket.”
