First time trying this brand for my artwork and was impressed with how they performed. Vibrant colours with easy blending.
My only complaint is that several of the pencils I’ve used so far the core is all snapped. Not sure if this is a transport or processing issue.
Overall I would recommend
Buttery smooth, easily blandable, holds its point, easy on hands, vast colour choice. Can be used on amazon paper colouring books. Great value for amount of pencils and colours you get. I would very highly recommend it. I bought it when it was on sale but even at current price they are worth it. They are very budget friendly. I have few other budget friendly brands and these definitely would be one of the top ones from them, another being Arrtx.
Similar in quality to Arrtx pencils, but with a harder core. It’s possible to achieve nice blends, but more work is required than with the arrtx pencils because of that harder core. On the flip side, they hold a point really well, so better for detail work So it all depends on what your personal art style is as to whether these will suit you or not.
I seen these the other night and read the reviews and I decided to treat myself and Man, am I glad I did they are AWESOME!! thry are so buttery soft and so smooth blend so nicely I took a chance on these and I’m so so happy I did I prefer these to prismas, they aren’t as temperamental as them so easy to use and I love the bigger core but they aren’t any heavier really really great pencils. AND THE WHITE IS SO opaque if you were to buy any colouring pencils the 2 sets.id recommend is the new larger Artex set and these ones perfection!!!
I have a background in fine art, and art supplies are my weakness! I saw these colour pencils online and picked up the 24pc set for my daughter to use at her art class. I was so impressed with how well these pencils performed that I decided to get the 130pc set for myself. What a great find! Really good quality, buttery pencil cores that layer and blend well and has an impressively wide colour range in the 130pc set. Despite them being lovely soft cores, they actually felt sturdy and held up well under the pressure of burnishing.
Happy to report that my daughter and I have both loved being lost in the colouring world all weekend enjoying these latest additions to our art supplies stash
My daughter introduced me to these colour pencils so I was able to try hers before getting my own 130pc set. LOVE THEM! Great creamy pencil cores, they layer and blend beautifully and the strong cores fared really well with my layering and burnishing technique. Amazing wide range of shades so I’ll be able to do all types of scenes seascapes, botanicals and florals, plus there’s a good mix of skin tones for portraits too.
I find it helpful to see people’s images when I’m shopping online, so I’ve attached a couple of photos of an adult colouring picture I did using these colour pencils . Very happy. Would highly recommend. Great quality. Also love the stylish case they come in – so handy. Keeps every pencil securely in place, and the case doesn’t take up a lot of room on my work surface. Huge thumbs up from me!
