Given the price point of 5.99 at the time of review, I’m pleasantly surprised for the quality of these secateurs. The main frame is made of metal with the blade being described as high-carbon steel, and the top handle is covered by silicone for extra grip. It’s winter so I won’t be doing much gardening, but when tried on small branches they cut through without any problems so I’ll be using these a lot next summer. There’s a lock mechanism to keep the blade closed when not in use.
