    Grea
Had a George forman before ( like many),but never really used it. This time with the introduction of air fryers and different ways of cooking it seems to make sense. It’s easy to clean, quicker with cooking times and no fat spitting when cooking burgers etc. Also it’s primary funtion is to reduce fat content which is more healthier. (Won’t feel that guilty about the takeaway). All in all a good buy at a good price.

    Great grill with some flaws
Had one of the George Foreman grills from 10+ years ago, which we really liked. Have had some alternate sandwich toasters since then until we decided to try another George Foreman.

The medium is a good size and allows us to toast two large sized sandwiches side by side, which is its main use. Does a really good job of it as well.

Only real downsides are the branding being on the grill which makes it a little harder to clean as food always get stuck inbetween the letters and there is no actual temperature control or switch on the actual device – you plug it into the mains socket and that’s the only control you have.

It’s also quite unstable as when you put your sandwiches in, we tend to put pressure on the front to try and cook evenly. If you don’t do this the top half of the sandwich will toast more than the bottom. The old George Foreman we had seemed to have a better hinge to get up and over the sandwiches. When you put some weight on the front of the grill, it can actually tip over, so isn’t ideal.

But the actual output, a lovely toasted sandwich, is nothing to complain about so we can live with these little flaws. Hopefully they’ll resolve these issues in a newer model.

big grill area, gets hot quickly, short power cord
George Foreman Large Electric Fit Grill,

This is pretty much a grill you can just pull out and use straight away when you just need something cooked quickly.
This is handy to have lying around the kitchen and having a large grilling area means it can be useful if you have a busy family and your trying to get a quick meal done.
I like the fact this can be used a supplement to a traditional BBQ so if you can’t use a BBQ for whatever reason this will do the job just fine.

The downside to this is there no control settings this may be good to some as there no need to mess around with controllers so its pretty much plugin wait for the green light to say it up to temperature and cook away.

Even though this is a rather flat design compared to my original that died a few months ago this is longer and slightly harder to store away due to the design being slightly bigger in length.

Comes with an oil catcher so the worktops don’t get messy and this does a good job in removing the oil from food making it alot better and a healthy option.
The non-stick grill makes cleaning a breeze.

Overall i like the new grill, good large grilling area for busy families, Simple and easy to use, Slightly large which makes storing away more tricky, The power cord is alot shorter than the previous version i had.
Value wise i felt this was a good purchase and would recommend.

What a great little machine. Bought as replacement for an old Tefal Optigrill which had finally given up the ghost. Had the George for about a fortnight now and love it , it’s so much easier than the Tefal…….just pre heat and cook. Already tried burgers, half a side of salmon, bacon and tonight we’ve had teriyaki style chicken. Everything’s turned out really nice, juicy and tasty. This medium sized grill is perfect for the two of us. Floating hinge means easy to cook different thicknesses and nice bar marks on the food too.
The only negative compared to the Tefal is that the grill plates are fixed, but I have found the best way to clean them is to use the soft sponge side of a dishwasher pad (damp) followed by dry kitchen towel…..no problems at all. Stores on its side, nice and compact on the kitchen worktop. Also saves money by not having to preheat and use the grill on our full size cooker.
Bought at a great price too (half price). Excellent piece of kit, definitely recommend.

This new style grill from George foreman is excellent at cooking food, we have had George foreman grills over the years, this one is very slim line and modern looking and is a lot less bulky than our last large George foreman grill, I think it takes a few seconds more to get to temperature, which isn’t an issue, when cooking it does a great job of cooking food evenly and everything is left very tasty, what I noticed is that the plates in the closed position seem to be closer together compared to our last large grill, this is now great as it grills both sides of thin bacon at the same time and is a lot quicker, we grill bacon, sausages, chicken, beef burgers, toasties etc, they are all very tasty and we’ll cooked, over all the grill was great value, it looks great, can cook a large amount of food at one time, people are commenting on reviews that the name George foreman on the top inside grill plate makes it hard to clean, I have not had this issue with the grill being new, the plates clean very easily, build quality, it doesn’t feel as robust as our last grill but we haven’t had any issues with build quality, but only time will tell.
Overall its a great grill and would recommend it.
