I’ve had a blast using this to clean a variety of jewellery, from my stainless steel watch, gold bracelets and rings.
The bracelets, made of delicate gold links, and the stainless steel watch bracelets came out sparkling like new! Just a drop of the cleaning agent (250 ml Octopus ultrasonic cleaner) and some lukewarm water did the trick, turning the machine into a magical cleaning wizard.
All in all, I’m thrilled with this little cleaning powerhouse. It delivers fantastic results without breaking the bank! I now just keep wandering around looking for things to clean, it’s a marvel.
Absolute lifesaver. I use it for cleaning my nightguard, toothbrush head and earrings. Don’t worry about not seeing dirt coming out immediately. For mine, it took about 10 seconds to build up the cleaning waves. I definitely saw the dirt coming out of my earrings making the water murky. For my nightguard, not so much, only because it’s already transparent and not much dirt to begin with. I definitely felt this cleaner did a better job than using a toothbrush to clean it.
This was better than I was expecting. I wasn’t expecting much at this price point, but it works great. The “after” picture is on the left and the “before” on the right. So far I have used to to clean quite a bit of jewelry and some of my watches with great results.
It’s especially good at getting rid of the crud that builds up in the links of metal watch straps. It’s easy to use with just four programs and is fairly quiet (so long as you have the lid closed) when operating.
Overall a great item that I would recommend.
I bought this mainly to clean the wrist bracelets to all my watches as they can get a little mucky over time as everyone’s does. On my first use of it I tried it on some jewellery including a very manky & chunky sterling silver bracelet , which I haven’t worn in quite some time. I used hot water out of the tap and a drop (literally) of washing up liquid. To say the results were good would a bit of an understatement. The water by the time it had finished had gone from crystal clear to a dull murk. So all in all a good little ultrasonic cleaner for the money. Now a word of warning to those who think this will remove tarnish. It won’t! Tarnish on metals and silver in particularly is an oxidation process that can only be removed with abrasives e.g. silver polish and/or silver cloths. This machine may, and I stress may, remove some loose material if the item is heavily tarnished but just don’t put in a blackened piece of silver and expect it to come out a gleaming piece of jewellery because it won’t. This can be used as the first stage in bringing a tarnished item back to its glory while the rest will have to be done with elbow grease, I’m afraid. But the machine itself is well worth the outlay.
This cleaner exceeded my expectations! It is super easy to use and has made a huge difference to my jewellery, which is now sparkling. I didn’t think it was doing much at first till I saw how dirty the water was. I use warm water with a tiny amount of washing-up liquid. I also regularly clean specs, sunglasses, and hairbrushes/combs. I thought it was a luxury for lazy people like myself, but it cleans quicker and more efficiently than I can. I would definitely recommend.
Nice bit of kit. Perfect for general cleaning of bits and bobs. No real issues just using filtered water and a dash of detergent. Yet to use some jewellery cleaner liquid in it, but I expect that’ll give even better results. Overall, works fine.
It cleans my engagement ring really nicely – probably not the best item to use all of the time but it seems to be very effective at cleaning my ring and making it nice and shiny!
So I got this as my jewelry, especially the earrings were … Well awful. Seeing the videos on Facebook, I fully expected a Dememtor to come out of said earrings and then escape through a nearby window.
The truth was less concerning and much more .
An extensive build up was on there, however after 3 rounds, earrings look brand new. I used with the cleaning solution provided.

I brought this for my wife as she has a lot of old dirty jewelery and silverware that needs cleaning and this was the best one I found at a reasonable price and it looks good. First I used water only and results were nor too great but when used with a cleaning solution you can see the dirt coming out in waves then just a quick buff with a silver cleaning cloth to dry and buff to a shine
First, the instructions for this are easy to understand if not complete. There is no explanation for the watch support for instance. But it can be inferred quite easily as I did.
The machine cleans jewellery beautifully and quickly. And the presets avoid unnecessary guesswork.
It is a smallish, attractive machine that is only just big enough to accommodate a large pair of men’s glasses. Which it also cleaned very well. Although it took two pairs of ladies’ glasses quite easily.
It made a fair job also, eventually of cleaning a wristwatch with a very dirty strap. Although some remedial work with a cloth was required afterwards.
Overall, I would recommend this useful machine for cleaning. I found it a good and useful buy.
The silver necklace I wear everyday is washed with a toothbrush and dish soap. This is the cloud of dirt that came off my clean necklace.
I also tried a pair of polarised sunglasses. Sadly the micro bubbles removed the polarised film. So don’t recommend for sunglasses. But definitely all my other glasses look great.
Cleaned my glasses brilliantly! Used filtered cold water (read after you can use warmed water) and a small squirt of hand wash. Put in glasses using the tray. Set on default 300 mins, and left it to it. Rinsed after with more cold filtered water then dried off using a micro cloth. Used the supplied cleaning cloth to finish. Amazed by the results! Really sparkling, so well impressed. Thanks.
I rarely write reviews, despite buying too much from Amazon, but this little machine is brilliant. I have an aquamarine stone in my engagement ring that gets murky very quickly as I wear it constantly. Getting to a jewellers to have it cleaned rarely gets to the top of my list with a full time job and busy family life. I put the ring in with warm water and a drop of washing up liquid and after 10 mins the difference was insane – check the photos! Easy enough to do regularly and so worth it – very pleased!
