This is brilliant for at home date nights or party’s chocolate flows perfectly as long as you use quality chocolate the base keeps it nice and warm. A little bit of a pain to clean but if u pour most of the left over chocolate onto a bowl makes it a lot easie

I brought this for my daughters birthday party and have used it twice since. I meted the chocolate on the hob then poured it into the bottom of the fountain. It ran for a couple of hours (until the chocolate ran out!) and didn’t go clumpy.
I used normal milk chocolate and didn’t add oil.
Very easy to set up, a bit of a pain to clean but that’s to be expected! Definitely recommend.

I have not used this unit yet as is a present. Before purchasing I looked at many units and reviews, finally deciding on this one. Arrived well packaged and nothing damaged or missing.
The unit is simply constructed and quite sturdy. Important to read the instructions regarding type of chocolate to use and necessity of adding vegetable oil to facilitate running of hot chocolate, I will get coconut oil. Also important to immediately clean after use! Looks to be a great value fountain.

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for this one.I was bit hesitant to buy this product after reading most of the reviews written here but I bought it anyway.As seen in my video it was great.I think if you melt the chocolate with the right amount of chocolate and oil, it will turn out well on the fountain.The chocolate flow smoothly with mine and my kids love it.Its small size but small enough for my kids at home .

This product gave us so much fun!! It was easy to assemble and for 23 pounds it’s totally worth it. Cleaning this wasn’t easy but then again it’s not this products fault as chocolate can be difficult to clean. Quite small. I had this for a family birthday party for adults so it was enough. I do not recommend this product for big children’s party as it’s quite small.
We used Aldi milk chocolates (30p ones) and some coconut oil to flow it easily. It was delicious! All in all I like the product very much.

Brilliant little fountain. I bought this for my 8 year old son as he’s desperately wanted one for ages. I used chocolate designed for fountains and added a little vegetable oil, heated in microwave whilst the fountain heated up. Once melted I added to the bottom and turned to heat and motor.. hey presto.. you have to fill the base right up to get a good flow. perfect for what little chocoholics. I Cleaned whilst the chocolate was still warm. Easy.. recommend this for kids parties or a couples night in etc.. But it isn’t big enough for a large adult party…. I’d defo but agai

Bought this for my 7 year olds birthday and it’s fair to say it was one of his favourite gifts. We used normal chocolate that we had leftover from Easter and added the vegetable oil as stated in the instructions. This did not effect the taste at all and if you don’t use it the chocolate will not flow correctly. You did nothing need a lot of chocolate and it was just enough for us all to try. For cleaning it comes apart easily and is a lot easier to clean than expected

Works fine.
You need to use cooking chocolate. Normal stuff is to thick even when diluted with oil.
Cleans ok
The pan could be a little hotter to keep the chocolate more liquid but at 20 on offer it was worth it. Wouldn’t pay retail price.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to on this one. I can’t understand why people having giving this product low star rating! It’s a great little product. It is small in size but does the job. I wasn’t prepared to buy expensive chocolate, so I just bought aldi cooking milk chocolate and melted it over hot water in a bowl. Then once melted I added a ‘slosh’ of vegetable oil (as per someone else’s review) the chocolate was running and I think that’s the trick. Moved it to the fondue machine and left it running for about an hour, maybe more – chocolate stayed runny the whole time. I kept some chocolate warm on the hob and topped up the chocolate. We are a family of 7, everyone had plenty and there was chocolate left. You could make this work for a bigger party but you would need to top up the chocolate. Cleaning wise, I washed the base (attached to the motor) straight away. And used a paintbrush to get in the cracks of the cogs. I imagine this could be difficult if the chocolate left to harden, but that’s why I did it when chocolate still warm and runny. The other parts were fine, just wash as you normally would.
Long review, sorry. But great item!

This turned out to be much smaller than I thought but it has worked well. It is very easy to set up, cleaning is not too bad either as long as you clean it right away. It is probably a lot more costly than what it is but my kids enjoyed it so I guess that is what matters.

Love this . It did the job and was very easy to use . One setting allows you to maintain the heat of chocolate and another is for having it running down while keeping it warm . A little on the small side but good for a small gathering / home party. Kids and grown ups loved it .

Really impressive. We had a party for 14 kids (yes it was very messy, but expected). They all loved the chocolate fountain, and we kept it fairly topped up. It definitely made a mess (more the kids than the item :).

Well constructed, not overly noisy, very easy to clean (but clean it while its warm is my hint, before it becomes solid, and use very warm water. Very few parts so really easy to assemble and clean (3 parts I think). Warms up to keep it flowing and comes with instructions. It held enough chocolate for the 14 kids over 2 hours, we filled it up once after the initial top up……Make sure its warm before adding the chocolate. Great product.
