Poor storyline and I got bored after five episodes shame really cause it looked good with artwork and everything but not everything can be good so I’ll probably sell it to CEX hahaha (rip off shop) if you want to collect animes then wait till it drops a bit in price your choice.

I had to watch my brother’s kids one weekend, and I like getting random anime seasons, for us to watch at night. I came across this one and it peaked my interest (the kids never care what I bring over, they just love hanging out and watching it). It’s a modern anime but done very well. It’s more “realistic” but obviously in a fantasy setting. It was pretty funny, and the story was really good. We almost watched the whole season in one sitting! The kids loved it, and so did I honestly. If you’re interested, I would just get it, I don’t think you would be disappointed.

I quite liked it but it is a bit of an odd one. Saitou was a handy man in Japan prior to being deposited in a weird feudal world with adventuring parties. He can pick locks, repair things and help out (including by remembering spell incantations for a forgetful wizard) but he is not much of a combatant. The series provides background for enemies before throwing them at Saitou’s party. It is a fairly novel take although I did find the aforementioned wizard rather tiresome… it is fairly decent and a slightly different take on a heavily utilised genre.

An overworked, underappreciated handyman from Japan gets transported to another world where he joins a party of adventurers in exploring the dungeons for treasure to make a living. He finds they and others appreciate him far more than he ever was in Japan. There are a few episodes with action but a lot more comedy, and a little romance. This series is well worth watching and re-watching.
